359 Revenge 360: Kyle Or Not, It's Going To Happen

James didn't speak and took a look at the picture her good brother threw. Shocked and terrified were clear in his eyes, but it was only for a second. Fortunately, Arion was able to see that quickly.

His suspicion of his brother is correct. There is something his brother is hiding and scheming behind his back. Although it breaks his heart to know this, Arion still kept his cold expression. It is as if he is saying to his brother that he is not afraid of anything that will about to come.

James frowned at Arion and spoke, "I don't know what is this about, Arion."

"You don't know? It's clear as day in that picture that something is going on and I want to know what are you planning, my dear brother." Confronting his brother like this is the best plan he could come up with.

It must be because if his brother tells him the truth, then maybe he will forgive him. They might rebuild their long lost bond as brothers. But if his brother were to lie and try to fool him, then Arion has no other choice but to give his brother a piece of his mind.

"Arion!" James shouted. "Are you accusing me of something? I heard from Mary that someone is scheming behind her back, and you're thinking that it's me basing on what is on this picture? I can't believe you are doing this to me."

James put on an expression that he feels betrayed by his brother's accusation. Unfortunately for him, Arion is falling for such an act from him, and since his brother is showing him this kind of show, Arion has no other choice but to do what he must do for everyone's sake, especially his children.

"Big brother, in this world, you never know who is really the main culprit in everything that is happening right now. All I know that there is a big possibility that you might be the main culprit." Right now, all Arion has is this picture in his hands and nothing else. He has no definite evidence that his big brother is the main culprit. Since it has come to this, Arion will help the twins lure out his brother to the light of truth. "You can tell Father is you want. I do not care, James. All I care about is the truth." Arion added and left James' office.

After Arion left, James swept off everything that is on his desk. He is currently full of rage because of his little brother's sudden visit and accusation.

He took out his phone and contacted the person he was with on the picture. As soon as the person answered his call, James spoke angrily. "Tell your daughter, Ilana, to do her job fast. Someone is already suspecting me."

Without waiting for that person to reply to him, James ended the call right away.

"This is getting annoying," James mumbled to himself.

"Tell your daughter, Ilana, to do her job fast. Someone is already suspecting me."

"You heard that, twins?" Arion asked his children who are right in front of him.

While he was talking to his brother earlier, Arion planted a chip on his brother's desk and he recorded everything. The moment the twins made it home, he immediately called them to their mother's study office and made them listen to the recording.

"Loud and clear, Daddy," Anna said. "But is there a reason for you to make us listen to uncle's conversation over the phone?"

"Anna, don't ask that question to me as if you don't know what this is about." After overhearing his children's conversation the other day, he originally wanted the twins to handle their uncle in their own way. But it seems like he can't let them solve this problem all on their own. "Additionally, I know the fact that you and your brother are hiding our family's precious treasure."

Aaron and Anna were slightly startled when they heard that from their father. They didn't expect him to know that.

They have no intention of hiding that fact, but they want to take their time first before announcing to everyone that they are hiding their family treasure.

"How exactly did you know about that, Father?" Aaron asked curiously. As far as he knows, he and his sister talk about that privately, when there is no one to listen to them. How is it possible for their father to know about that fact?

"Some days ago, I overheard your conversation about our family treasure under your care. To where I heard it? Behind the door of your sister's room. Speaking of that, Anna, do you want to change your room into a soundproof one?" Since he overheard his children's conversation, it got him thinking that he should change their rooms into a soundproof one.

The reason for that is just in case his brother might put a spy inside the mansion. Being cautious is what the twins should have right now.

"I think that is a great idea, Father since you overheard all that information from us." Aaron is really thankful that the person who overheard the conversation between him and his sister is his father only. If it were someone else, that someone would probably tell his grandfather or probably tell his good-for-nothing uncle.

"I agree with that too, Daddy. I want my privacy!" There are times that Anna will have to talk out loud to the people she's talking to over the phone. And sometimes, the conversation she has with them is too embarra.s.sing for her to let others hear.

"Privacy?" Arion slowly spoke, and then a thought suddenly hit him. "Wait. What if Kyle suddenly visits the mansion and went to your room. Most likely that two of you are going to be all alone inside your room, and who knows what will happen inside." With that kind of thought, Arion is now having second thoughts about making some changes in his daughter's room.

Anna's face turned bright red when she heard that from her father. Anna's mind is not like a mind a teenager, she knows exactly what her father is trying to say. "Daddy! What kind of horrible thoughts are you thinking? Do you really think that I would do such a thing?"

"Anna, don't talk as if that's not gonna happen to you in the future. Whether it's Kyle or not, it's going to happen." Aaron spoke in a matter of fact tone.

"Enough! We're getting sidetrack of what we should talk about!" Anna shouted. She couldn't handle any more of the words her brother and father is saying to her. She's too embarra.s.sed to hear more of what they are thinking.

"You are right. We are getting sidetrack." Since his daughter reminded him of what they should prioritize right now, Arion's expression turned serious.

"Since we're back on track and you already know about uncle's little scheme, I think I should tell you everything that's been happening," Aaron told everything to his father, including the day they visited the old mansion and saw James and his wife, also the girl that James mentioned earlier, Ilana.

Arion is a bit surprised to know that his twins know about his brother's scheme for a while now and they have not told anyone about it. What really surprises his the most is the plan his children came up with.

"Why didn't you tell your mother about this?" Arion raised his left brow. He's not upset or disappointed at the fact his children hid the truth from Mary, but he does want to know their answer.

He thinks that all of this would have been over by now if the twins were to tell Mary about it. After all, his wife is good at doing things fast.

"We initially thought of telling Mom about everything. But the timing is not really good." Anna feels guilty for not telling her mother, but she's not regretting not telling her because every time she sees her mother, she always looks so tired. With that, Anna and her brother decided to keep it hidden for a while longer.

Arion fell into deep thoughts and after sorting his thoughts, a smirk appeared on his face. That smirk somehow made the twins feel nervous. "I'll give you three days to expose your dear uncle's scheme, and once three days are over and you still have not finished your mission, then I'll do it my way and you will stay out of it."

"T-three days? B-but that's going to mess up the whole plan Anna and I arranged!" In exactly three days, Anna's pageant event is going to happen. Aaron is a bit nervous that they might not be able to finish their mission in three days only. Her sister has to focus on her pageant and he has to help Nathalia for her grand scheme against Elizabeth.

All in all, their schedule is tight, and yet, his father is making them expose their uncle in three days due?

"I do not care. If you two want to further prove yourself, then you better accept this challenge."
