They saw her struggling desperately. The woman shook her head sideways as if resisting against something.

"Ah_" She screamed in pain. Her limbs trembled, convulsing violently.

An officer pressed the bell on the bedside.

Soon doctors and nurses entered the ward.

"Please, she is not in a condition to talk. Can you leave her in peace for some time?"

The Nurse felt pity watching the young girl

She injected her a sedative.

After a few seconds Clara laid quietly in the bed before falling into the state of unconsciousness.

When the officer entered the ward again. They found the woman was sitting near the window, looking out of it.

He was scared for a moment guessing that she could jump out of the window. The woman already tried to kill herself by biting her tongue.

Hence he moved in haste to her.

Clara turned around when she heard movement in the room, and she unconsciously stepped back.

"Don't worry you are safe now." the officer said in a gentle voice.

Clara looked at him. Her eyes showed purity, yet her blood red lips looked as if they were gnawed by someone.

She looked and went back to her bed.

As the officer observed that Clara had calmed down; he started the investigation:

"Do you want to tell us about the incidence?"

"I...I...He.."

"He...he.." she stuttered.

Panic seized her making it hard to breathe.

Handing her a gla.s.s of water, the officer revealed a thoughtful gaze.

After a moment she put forth her testimony.

"I had a meeting with Mr. Akash Jain. He called me to the hotel. I have met him on many occasions for business meetings, so I didn't doubt much. Without much thought, I came to his room.

As soon as I entered the room

He pulled me and... and...he did not let me go.

For a week he hara.s.sed me... For a week! " she paused briefly to catch her breath.

"He is a devil who faded his human skin that day."

she roared. "Cruel and cold-blooded without a trace of pity."

He watches as her emotions calmed down.

Clara bowed her head, rubbing her fingers said: "Thank you for saving me."

Her honey-like voice penetrated into the hearts of the listener.

As if

he was hypnotized he stared at the woman.

"Are all the injuries on your body made by him?'"

"Yes, except I had bitten my own tongue."

"I was so scared of him. It would be better to die than spend a second of torture. So I wanted to die."

"Don't worry. We will try our best to collect evidence and keep that animal where he deserves to be. Behind bars." he stated with anger and determination in his eyes.

"Thank you. Can you contact my family for me?" she asked.

The officer nodded and left.

As soon as the officer left, her lips upturned, mockingly. She laid back in her bed comfortably.

'It's too easy to control these stupid men.' She found it quite ironic.

Clara is a sharp and cunning person, who manipulates the situation that suits her.
