She raised her head. The silk-like hair which covered her face fell apart. The sight before them made them tremble.

A clear sense of sympathy manifested on their face.

Their eyes were on her face. It was all blue and green, tinged with red blood flowing from her lips which lay swollen and bleeding.

Her mouth was bleeding nonstop. Her eyes puffed, there were marks all over her body.

She looked at the man, and with a pleading look, she desperately mumbled, "Save.... me..."

With that, she fainted.

Seeing the powerless woman flopped on the bed, everyone flinched.

A b.l.o.o.d.y smell lingered in the air.

An officer went forward to check her. He checked her pulse.

"Sir, she is bleeding. I think she bit her tongue. We need to send her to the hospital." he stated.

"No, she is acting. " a shrill came from Ak Jain as he shot towards the woman.

They called an ambulance, and soon Clara was taken to the hospital.

In the hospital as soon as the ward got empty, she opened her eyes. She looked around and sighed as she found no one.

Clara searched for a phone, however, didn't find one in the ward. She rubbed the s.p.a.ce between her eyes which was aching slightly.

'I can't contact dad. I need to find a solution myself.'

Yes, she was awake all the while under the sheets. A trace of confusion flashed her eyes when she thought about the situation.

She acted to faint for many hours. During this time the officers returned.

While she was pondering over the solution, the door clicked, and the officers entered.

She closed her eyes and sobbed in a m.u.f.fled voice.

"Save me.... save me... Help" her voice was soft and trembling.
