He won the gold medal in Skateboard Street beating Tony Hawk who took the silver medal and Zian also took the gold in Skateboard Vert Best Trick after Neal Hendrix failed on his final run.

He also took the gold in BMX Dirt and BMX Downhill Mountain bike. He took home a total of four gold medals in four events of Summer X Games.

On 1996: X Games II was held in Providence & Newport with two-hundred thousand people in attendance. Zian defended his last year event with four gold medals in the bag from Skateboard Street, Skateboard Vert Best Trick., BMX Dirt and Downhill Mountain bike.

Throughout1997: X Games III in San Diego on June 20–28, 1997 with two-hundred twenty-one thousand in attendance. Zian took the gold medal in BMX Dirt for the third time, edging out Brian Foster and Ryan Nyquist. He took the gold medal in BMX Downhill and Skateboard Street for the third time.

In the debut of Skateboard Vert Doubles, Tony Hawk and him teamed up and took home the gold. In Skateboard Vert Best Trick, Zian took home the gold by completing the first ever in history-making moments at the X Games: the "Perfect Run" and his score were a whopping 97.50.

During 1998: X Games IV was held in Mission Beach, San Diego, California on June 1998 with two-hundred thirty-three thousand in attendance. The team of Dennis McCoy and Zian took the gold in BMX Vert Doubles. Zian edges out Ryan Nyquist and Joey Garcia, took the gold in four years in a row in BMX Dirt. Zian takes his fourth gold medal in BMX Street, Skateboard Vert Best Trick and Skateboard Street. Tony Hawk and Zian took home their second gold medal in Skateboard Vert Doubles.

On1999: X Games V in Pier 30 & 32, San Francisco on June 25 – July 3, 1999 with two-hundred seventy thousand in attendance. Zian won his fifth gold medal in BMX Street, BMX Dirt and Skateboard Street. He and Tony Hawk claimed their third gold medal in Skateboard Vert Doubles. After several failed attempts, skateboarder Zian finally landed a 900-degree spin and won his fifth gold medal in Skateboard Vert Best Trick.

During 2000: X Games VI in Pier 30 & 32, San Francisco, California August 17–22, 2000. Zian won gold medal in BMX Park, landing the first ever double backflip in the compet.i.tion. He also won his first ever gold medal in Skateboard Park. He also won the gold medal in Skateboard Vert Best Trick with a Fakie 5–0 Kickflip out on the grind bar for the win. Zian won his sixth gold medal in BMX Street, BMX Dirt and Skateboard Street.

Throughout 2001: X Games VII in South Philadelphia Sports Complex, Philadelphia on August 17–22, 2001 with 235,000 in attendance. Zian managed an almost perfect Skateboard Vert run with a score of 98.00. This run is consider by many to be the best run ever in the history of Skateboard Vert, as Zian landed several tricks that had never been done before. Tony Hawk, who was commentating, nearly lost his voice while screaming in disbelief.

Zian lands the first double backflip in BMX Dirt and won the gold medal with Ryan Nyquist taking the Silver and T.J. Lavin with the Bronze. Bruce Crisman beats Zian in BMX Park and he announces his retirement from X Games after winning his seventh gold in a row in BMX Street and Skateboard Street.

In 2002, he was involved in Red Bull Stratos s.p.a.ce diving project and On 14 October 2002; Zian flew approximately thirty-nine kilometers into the stratosphere over New Mexico, United States, in a helium balloon before free falling in a pressure suit and then parachuting to Earth.

The total jump, from leaving the capsule to landing on the ground, lasted approximately ten minutes. While the free fall was expected to last between five and six minutes, he deployed his parachute after four minutes and nineteen seconds.

With a final alt.i.tude of 38,969 m (127,851 ft; 24 mi), he broke the unofficial record for the highest manned balloon flight of 37,640 m (123,491 ft) previously set by Nick Piantanida. He also broke the record for the highest alt.i.tude jump, set in 1960 by USAF Colonel Joseph Kittinger, who was Baumgartner's mentor and capsule communicator at mission control. These claims were verified by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).

Zian also loved racing sports like motorbike racing, kart racing and drag racing. Major genres include motorcycle road racing and off-road racing, either on circuits or open courses, and track racing. Other categories include hill climbs, drag racing and land speed record trials.

Mountaineering is the set of activities that involves ascending mountains. Mountaineering-related activities include traditional outdoor climbing, hiking, skiing, and traversing via ferratas. Indoor climbing, sport climbing and bouldering are usually considered mountaineering as well.

He first climbed Mount Apo in Mindanao, which is 2,954 meters (9,692 ft) above sea level and highest point in the country. He learned Parkour under David Belle, a French actor, film ch.o.r.eographer and stunt coordinator. Who's deemed as the founder and leading pioneer of the physical discipline, coining it based on his training and the teachings from his father Raymond Belle.

With the help of his A.I Neo, Zian able to learn, understand and talk fluently like native in dialects such as: Cebuano, Chavacano, Ilocano, Ilonggo, Waray, Kapampangan, Bicolano, Pangasinense, Maranaoan and Kinaray-a. He also tried at least forty standard spoken langauges of other countries and he even let Neo to gather more for future needs.

He then learned bushcraft from Ray Mears; bushcraft is a popular term for wilderness survival skills. It's about thriving in the natural environment, and the acquisition of the skills and knowledge to do so. Bushcraft skills include firecraft, tracking, hunting, fishing, shelter-building, navigation by natural means, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging, water sourcing, hand-carving wood, container construction from natural materials, and rope and twine-making, among others.
