In 1990, Zian used singing and songwriting skills to replicate the songs released his first ever under a nickname "Zian" and he used a masked similar Kaneki of Tokyo Ghoul with opening in the mouth, nose and colored his hair sky blue in order to conceal his ident.i.ty.

The alb.u.m have twelve songs which divided into three parts, first are Hip-hop songs; Abra–Gayuma, Salbakuta – Stupid love, Andrew E–My Banyo Queen, Gloc-9 –Upuan, Ex Battalion-No Games and the second part are rock songs like Bamboo – Noypi and High- The Speaks, while third part are love ballad like Ariel Rivera–Smile In Your Heart, Ella Mae Saison – Till My Heartaches End, Gino Padilla – Closer You And I, Jose Mari Chan – Beautiful Girl, and Alamid – Your Love.

With track like "Upuan" that featured politically conscious and thought-provoking rhymes in Tagalog. Gayuma, Stupid love, My Banyo Queen and No Games was also a big hit. Along with Francis Magalona, it helped catapult the Filipino hip hop from underground to mainstream status and also marked the birth of rap in Filipino music scene.

In 1991, Zian released his second alb.u.m with thirteen songs which are four ballad songs: Gino Padilla – Let the Love Begin, Martin Nievera – Say That You Love Me, Christian Bautista – The Way You Look At Me and Ric Segreto – Don't Know What To Say, then six rock songs; Parokya Ni Edgar – Akala, Eraserheads – With A Smile, Bamboo – Probinsyana, Sponge Cola – Pasubali, Kamikazee – Martyr Nyebera and Soapdish - Pwede Ba, lastly three hiphop songs: Skusta Clee – Beast Mode, Gloc-9 – Magda and Parokya Ni Edgar – One Hit Combo.

His second alb.u.m was sold over nine-hundred fifteen thousand unit both from domestic and internationally. This was certified 2x diamond by Viva records and later confirmed by Philippine a.s.sociation of the Record Industry (PARI)

In 1992, he released his third alb.u.m with thirteen songs which are five love songs; Toni Gonzaga – I've Fallen For You, Nina – Love Moves in Mysterious Ways, Erik Santos – I'll Never Go and Christian Bautista – Got To Believe In Magic. then five rock songs; Itchyworms - Akin Ka Na Lang, Kamikazee - Huling Sayaw, Rivermaya – Umaaraw, Umuulan, Sandwich – SuG.o.d and Sponge Cola – Tuliro. Lastly, three hip-hop songs; Parokya Ni Edgar – Bagsakan, O.C. Dawgs ft. Future Thug - Akala Ko Nung Una and Ex Battalion – Ikaw Kase.

In 1995, he released his sixth alb.u.m with thirteen songs. Three are hip-hop songs; Apekz - Ala Una, Ba.s.silyo – Lord Patawad and Gloc-9 - Walang Natira. Then four love songs; Jireh Lim – Buko, Khel Pangilinan – Hanggang Kailan, KZ Tandingan – Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako and TJ Monterde – Ikaw At Ako Pa Rin. Lastly, It has five rock songs; Callalily – Pansamantala, Diamond Shotgun lyrics by Chicosci, Hale - The Day You Said Goodnight, Itchyworms – Beer and Kitchie Nadal – Bulong.

In 1996, he released his seventh alb.u.m with thirteen songs; ten English songs are the following; Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud, Typecast – Will You Ever Learn, Nick Jonas – Jealous, Lil Wayne – Lollipop, Flo Rida – Low, Far East Movement – Like a G6, Ed Sheeran-Perfect, Ed Sheeran – Shape of You, Coldplay – Viva la Vida, and Bruno Mars – Just the Way You Are. There are three tagalog songs; Kitchie Nadal – Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sasabihin, Jona – Maghihintay Ako and Callalily – Susundan.

This alb.u.m became his US debut, as it rank no. three in the Top Billboard 200 Alb.u.m and several of his songs ranked in the Billboard Hot 100 are the following: no. 1 Just the Way You Are, no. 3 Shape of You, no.5 Thinking Out Loud, no. 7 Perfect, no. 9 Low, no. 37 Like a G6, no. 43 Jealous, no 52 Viva la Vida, no. 55 Will You Ever Learn in singles.

The alb.u.m was sold fourteen million copies worldwide, over five million came from US and it certified by RIAA 5x Platinum and later certified by Viva Records 14x Diamond.

Later that year, he was nominated for various awards and attended these award shows. He won several awards in Billboard Music Awards; 38th Annual Grammy Awards and American Music Awards of 1996.

Until early 2005, He released nine more alb.u.ms, all became the best -selling alb.u.m each year and it sold more than two-hundred million copies around the world. Later, in his music he involve in producing songs and alb.u.ms for other artist on 2019.

It was confirmed that he will be on hiatus due to family, health concerns and personal reasons as well. He plans to travel overseas with his mother and younger sister on his mother side. Zian plans to start a new life in a place that will be his new home later.
