NiNi still have to work the next day. She felt horrible when she woke up. The moment she open her eyes, her head hurts so bad like she was. .h.i.t by a car. Ma.s.saging her head with her own fingertips, she slowly sits on the bed.

The rims on her eyes flared up as she gathers her soul. When she remember Song Yun and w.a.n.g Kai images from last night, she stand up immediately. She didn't want to deal with those problems now as she still have works to do.

She casually tie her hair with a bun, walk to the bathroom to take a quick shower. After freshen up she felt a lot better. Wearing a green army casual T-s.h.i.+rt and a blue denim she walked out from her bedroom to the dining room.

There are only her mom on the dining table, spreading strawberry jams on the bread. Her mother still wearing a her night ware with no make-up on her face. NiNi look at the clock on the wall, it was still 5 in the morning, her mother must wake up because she knew she have a shoot today.

As NiNi walk closer to the dining room, she felt warmth fills her whole heart. Last night she felt like worthless and useless, but this morning she felt like her life is actually not really bad. She got her family on her side.

If she follows her mood, NiNi will probably frowning and complaining to her mother right away. But she felt like it was not fair. She is sad because of a man but venting it on her mom. It will make her mom worry a whole days, it's not fair. So she put a smile and happy face.

"Aiya, I'm so touched big madam Guan is waking up in the morning for this little servant." NiNi wipe her fake tears, sitting happily on the table. Mother Guan make a sneer face at NiNi before placing the bread on her plate.

"You-a, never eat breakfast before go to work. How do you live those 3 years without your mother, no wonder to turn like papers." Mother Guan show her dissatisfied face as her delicate soft hand pinch NiNi's ear.

"Wa, mom this is why I don't want to live here anymore." NiNi pull her ear away from her mother's tweak, as her hand pick up the bread to eat. She slowly observe her mom face, looks like her mom haven't found out about last night matter.

Stealing another glance at her mother, NiNi was in dilemma. Her mother will find out anyway, should she just tell her now? Mother Guan feels that NiNi keep stealing glance at her, so she directly ask her, "What?"

NiNi was shocked by her mother sudden confrontation, she take a gla.s.s to drink so water. Patting her back with care mother Guan starts to whine again. "Ckckck, look at you still acting like a child."

Frowning when she heard mother Guan words, NiNi place the gla.s.s back to the table before blaming her mother.

"Mom, it because you startled me." She said unhappily, taking another bite of her bread.

"What do you want to ask?" Mother Guan ignores NiNi's and go straight to the problem. Leaning on the chair as she closed her eyes. NiNi take a big hard gulp before stares at her mother sleepy face.

"Mom, what will you do if father suddenly have another child from another woman?" After spilling her question, NiNi regret it immediately. It was such a heavy topic for morning talk. Father Guan has spoils her mother to rotten, they flaunt their love every day. Her mother won't have that kind of thought as father Guan love her so much.

"Choi Choi Choi, what are you talking about in the morning?" Mother Guan wakes up that instant, sitting with a straight back. NiNi laugh when she saw her mother panic face. Frowning to her silly daughter, Mother Guan answer it anyway.

"Well, if that really happen then I will ask your father first. Who did he love, if he choose me then we will talk about it and get through it together. But if he was hesitance then I will let him go.... after i chop his little buddy..." Mother Guan said simply, watching that NiNi has finished her breakfast. Then her gaze move to NiNi's bright face.

"Mom I never knew you are these wise." With a cheek full of bread, NiNi give two thumbs up for her mom. Flapping her hair, mother Guan smile arrogantly.

"Of course, it's a shame that my daughter is really silly."

After her small conversation with her mom, NiNi appear more peaceful than before. She still professionally acting likes a professional on the set, but she s.p.a.ces out several times when they were on a break.

"NiNi, what do you think about this line? Should we create a sad atmosphere more?" Yun Zhe said, still focusing his attention on the script while he asks NiNi. Looking up to search for NiNi's face, he found that she has s.p.a.ce out again today.

"NiNi?" he tried again, blinking a few times.

"Guan Xiao Ni?" he touch her shoulder, make NiNi slightly jump as she turn her head to Yun Zhe.

"Sorry what?" she ask with sorry face, she has been ignoring Yun Zhe the moment he talk to her. She scold herself for being so distracted.

"Are you okay? do you need a rest?" Yun Zhe is a grade A list actress, he knew that last night the w.a.n.g family had throw a party for the old master w.a.n.g. Maybe NiNi was tired because last night party, so she was not on her prime state.

"Ah, It's okay I am just thinking about the next scene." NiNi lied, burying her head on the script again as she avoiding Yun Zhe's eyes. Yun Zhe was confused but it's not his place to pressure her to tell him. So he follows NiNi's move, burying himself on the script again.

After a few minutes, they will go to take the last scene and call it a day. Today scene is where emperor Yun will take Xiao Meng Wa from Xiao family as his concubine, giving her the ce fei position on their first meeting. Li Zhi Zhi who still sits on the empress throne began to felt threatened.

After the wedding day, she quickly go to visit Xiao Meng Wa on the evening. Monitoring and observing Xiao Meng Wa and starts to plan scheme against her. It was also the first time NiNi will acting with Li Ying, so NiNi wanted to prepare herself well.

"Xiao Ce Fei is so virtuous, willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of your family. We all know that this inner palace is like a war zone. Your family must have worried a lot." Li Zhi Zhi said with her mocking smile, appearing very seductive with her grand red robes and bold make up.

Of course Li Zhi Zhi was mocking Xiao Meng Wa behind her sentence. Everybody on the city knows how minister Xiao has willingly sacrificing his own daughter for establis.h.i.+ng his son's position on the court. She have no other choice but to walk herself into the tiger den.

"My family was so worried when I marry the emperor, my father even almost lost his life to plead to the heaven son. It must been hard on you." Li Zhi Zhi said again, showing off how her family love her.

Xiao Meng Wa supposed to be naïve at first, showing her sad face while biting her lips. However the face on Xiao Meng Wan beside Li Zhi Zhi right now is flat, like she didn't felt anything.

"CUT! Li Ying you should show your sad face." the director said as they take for several times again. They end up repeating the scene for 12 times as Li Ying has a difficulties to show sad look.

"CUT! Is it really hard to look sad? Why you even became an actress?" the director shout at Li Ying sour face. It was not like she also wants to be an actress, she wanted to be a singer!

"Li Ying-jie, try to remember sad things when you act, it will help a lot." NiNi said with friendly face. She has said the same lines for 12 times already, she wanted to go home and rest! But this woman acting like a brick of stone, no expression at all.

Turning her head to NiNi, Li Ying throw an unhappy face. Who is this newbie trying to teach her. Someone who give up their singing career for acting can't talk s.h.i.+t about her. She hate people like this the most.

"Who are you to teach me? you are just a newbie." She snapped, but her voice is small so no one hear beside the two of them. NiNi is too tired to answer Li Ying, so she choose to shut her mouth and wait for Li Ying to get in the mood.

However what they need is a sad mood, she clearly didn't understand that. She get in angry mood instead, making the director scold her even more.

"F*CK IT, I DON'T WANT YOU ON THE SET ANYMORE! GO HOME EVERYONE THE SHOTS IS OVER! THIS DRAMA WILL BE CANCELED IF THE FEMALE LEAD IS LIKE HER!" The director shout to vent his anger. Everybody was tired as they has work for a whole day, yet Li Ying keep making mistakes. She didn't even have to say anything for good d.a.m.n sake.

As all of the crew grumble and blaming Li Ying for being a beautiful vase actress, Li Ying fold her face even more. The crew keep comparing her to NiNi, praising NiNi for being professional but scold her for being difficult.

Stumping her feet while she walk to the makeup room, she pull the chair harshly. Frowning so deep that NiNi afraid she will grew a wrinkle at her thirties. NiNi didn't care about Li Ying childish action, she just slowly remove her makeup and change her clothes.

"Bah, what so good about that NiNi? She give up to be a singer for acting, how can they compare me to her?" NiNi heard Li Ying voice from the changing room. Not being provoked at all, she just keep doing what she is doing and ignore Li Ying.

"Li Ying-jie her voice is so ugly, what do you expect from her?" another voice answers Li Ying. This person was clearly on Li Ying's side, provoking her to hate NiNi even more.

"Right, that also true. She doesn't belong on this entertainment world." Li Ying said again, NiNi can hear a little happiness on her voice. Slowly open the changing room door, NiNi walk like she didn't hear anything. Grabbing her bag and walk out from the room confidently.

Li Ying and the other girl was shock when they learned that NiNi was inside the changing room the whole time. She probably has heard everything they said. The other person bodies s.h.i.+ver, as she knew NiNi was coming from influential family. With one world she could kick her out from the industry forever.

But NiNi just walk pa.s.sed them like she knew nothing.

She sigh in relief, patting her heart that nearly dislodged from the place. But both of Li Ying and her face turns pale when NiNi said something before she close the door.

They starts to regret that they have such a cheap mouth when NiNi say, "I didn't belong to this world, but I can own it if I want. What about you?" the raising eyebrow on the end make Li Ying face became red due embarra.s.sment. Her hands balled into a fist.
