Chapter 338: Finally

Seeing him, Jiang Yuan took a deep breath and stood up fast. “Brother Qin.” She bowed and greeted Qin Jun, his younger brother, and his and servant.

Qin Jun look at her and smiled thinly. “We can cut the courtesy, right?”

Jiang Yuan immediately understood the hidden meaning and nodded. “Of course.”

Qin Jun smiled widely and nodded. “After this round, it will be a dangerous journey. Why not we move onwards together?”

Of course, Jiang Yuan wouldn’t decline. “Younger brother has this thought too.”

With just a few words, a temporary alliance was formed.

“My good friends.” Jiang Yuan changed her answer and introduced them formally. “This is the gentleman Ji, Ji Xulin, and this is his younger sister, Miss Ji Zhenzhen.”

Shortly, Prince Chu and his team arrived. Jiang Yuan waved to him. “Brother Chu!”

Qin Jun turned back and smiled. “Brother Chu, Brother Yun.” he bowed.

Chu Zhengyan smiled sweetly and greeted Qin Jun. He then turned to Jiang Yuan and patted her shoulder. “I was so scared for you, brother Jiang! It was nerve-wracking to watch!”

“Ah, it’s not my effort this time around.” Jiang Yuan smiled thinly. “I’m thankful for my good friends who helped me out. I’m glad we are all okay.”

“I know, right. The battle just now was so interesting that I could talk about it for days….”

As they were chatting, a ray of light shot up from the center of the island and landed right in front of them.

Seeing the person who’s now in front of them, they immediately stood straight and bowed. “Senior.”

The freezing spirit phrase’s elder who’s guarding the lake’s heart island had finally arrived.

He was a middle-aged man, and he looked bored. After the princes greeted him, he coughed and raised his voice. “What happened earlier?’

Jiang Yuan stepped up and bowed. “Senior, I’m not sure why but the king of beast suddenly broke out of the formation’s control and chased us juniors around.”

They went over to Chu Zhengyan and floating cloud gentleman and bowed. “We’ll get going first.”

With that, the different groups went separate ways.

Lu Mingshu and Yan Wugui were the last. Yan Wugui grabbed her over and whispered. “Oh my G.o.d, such an actress. She must be dying to kill him, yet she was still acting so nicely. Yuck.”

“Or what?” Lu Mingshu laughed. “Call him out like a madwoman? That’s not nice, and it wouldn’t have worked as well.” Lu Mingshu looked around, then continued. “Who do you think is the culprit?”

“Who knows?” Yan Wugui shrugged.

Lu Mingshu sighed upon seeing his reaction. “The difference….”

If it were Xie Lianzhen, the dramatic guy would already have come up with tons of scenarios. But Yan Wugui does not even want to use his brain! He’s not stupid, just that the way he handles things is different from Xie Lianzhen.
