"Get in," Lu Wan entered the carriage without any explanation and Ye Jiao also entered inside. Seeing the boy's sour expression, she could guess that he didn't have fun in cla.s.s just now.

"Just talk normally, the carriage is protected with a barrier," Lu Wan messed up his own hair. "The cla.s.ses are terribly boring. The teacher basically repeats what they had taught as if we're idiots. I can't believe that they treat us as a fool."

Lu Wan sat down and patted the seat beside him, telling Ye Jiao to sit beside him. As soon as Ye Jiao sat down, she could painfully feel the gaze of other students landed on her. It was good that she had gotten used to people's gaze upon her, so she could ignore them.

"If they want trouble, I don't mind accompanying them," Lu Wan replied uncaringly. He leaned on the chair as his eyes followed after Mu Xin, who approached the two of them.

Mu Xin frowned, but she didn't pester him anymore. She sat down in front of Lu Wan, which meant that it was adjacent to Ye Jiao. This would allow her to see Ye Jiao easier in case it was needed.

'Your sister is more annoying than I thought she'll be,' Lu Wan whispered to Ye Jiao.

Ye Jiao just smiled wryly and didn't answer. She appreciated the concern Mu Xin had, but this would make them stand out too much. Unfortunately, she didn't have any chance to talk with either one of them as the teacher had come inside.

"Good afternoon, everyone."

The teacher stood up at the front and smiled brightly. "Today, we're going to review the lessons about how to practice Eon Energy after you reach rank 1. As you have known before, the mark for those who reach rank 2 are their ability to form Eon Energy s.h.i.+eld outside their body."

As he spoke, he utilized his Eon Energy and formed a layer of Eon Energy outside his body. It enveloped his body perfectly, covering every spot. As the teacher moved his hand, the Eon Energy stuck around his body.

"It seems easy, but I'm sure you know how hard it is to push Eon Energy outside your body after pulling it into your body and moreover, your core. It's a design of your body that makes it possible for you to form your core, but at the same time, it makes it harder for you to utilize Eon Energy.

To be able to push it outside your body, there are various ways. First is by pulling it out from small parts of your body such as fingers."

The teacher lifted up his finger and imbued it with Eon Energy. As it was normally colorless, he purposely added more energy to make it visible by the students as he played it around his fingers.

"This is common practice because it's easier to start with small parts. However, there are many other types of training such as pulling them all out of most of your body parts at once little by little. This training takes a considerably larger amount of time, but the stability is far higher than doing it little by little.

The other type of training is by using Eon Energy inside your body while you train physically. This is the hardest one, but this gives double results because you'll be able to grow stronger both physically and have better control. The last method usually takes longer time for Eon Energy Master as it's much harder…."

As the teacher continued his explanation, Ye Jiao felt like banging her head on the table. This was the first time she realized the types of training possible for Eon Energy Master rank 1 and realized something.

'Master, why are you picking the hardest one for us?'

Under Zhan Jing's guidance, the two of them were tasked to train Eon Energy by training their body. It was the hardest type of training possible and took a considerably larger amount of time to reach rank 2.

"Master is a genuine s.a.d.i.s.t," Lu Wan remarked as if he knew what was inside Ye Jiao's mind. His hand was still busy writing the name of strange herbs, but his mouth spoke other things. "He'll pick the hardest route for his students because it'll give the best result. Even though the route is filled with pain and takes much longer."

Ye Jiao smiled bitterly. She didn't know if it was her luck or bad luck to encounter a teacher like Zhan Jing. However, recalling her dream to reach the peak, she knew that it would be better to have a stable process.

Organizing her thoughts, Ye Jiao returned her attention back to the teacher. She wanted to know more about the training and all.
