1494 Chapter 1487: Hegemon: Demonic Abyss Master (2)

"Let us go, you human b.a.s.t.a.r.d! YOU CRETIN!" A scratchy voice unnerving to the ears resounded backed by lungs reinforced by mystic energies and cultivated to the Demi-Mystic Lord level. Despite the power unleashed within that shout, the sound only reached a few tens of feet before being halted by an invisible barrier forged by mystic power

Within the Stellar Nest, the Outpost of the Neo-Dawn Starfield, there were dozens of figures tied to pillars formed by refined mystic power. They rattled their manifested chains and shackles, trying to use their abnormally powerful bodies to escape after their cultivation bases were thoroughly sealed and their bodies restrained

"Do you understand what you're doing?!" A feminine voice that was like boiling water and sizzling wood, incomparably hot to the touch, and alluring to an outrageous degree, exclaimed alongside the other

The figures were all shouting upwards, aimed firmly at the figure seated above them while hovering. This was none other than Zhan You! He picked at his ear with an indifferent and unamused expression, seemingly disinterested in all their shouts. Moreover, he couldn't be bothered to seal their voices. In fact, he was secretly recording all their tirades and threats as if to review them for any crucial information regarding their ident.i.ties and purpose

They had already been restrained for hours yet they kept shouting. Some even stirred their blood and spewed it out on the chains and shackles that bound them, trying to corrode his mystic power with their demonic blood. Unfortunately, he was a Worldly Saint. They had no hope of corroding the restraints fast enough that he couldn't just make repairs or strengthen them

As for those in the Outpost, they were celebrating excitedly with a banquet. They were all citizens of the Neo-Dawn Starfield, and their Ascendant Emperor had just declared the eighteen known stellar regions as part of the Neo-Dawn Stellar Region! The day was monumental

Additionally, this finally answered the long-discussed question as to why the Neo-Dawn Starfield was a starfield despite establis.h.i.+ng a territory as large as a stellar region! While it was all slowly being developed, the territory had long since been announced as a part of the starfield

"His Majesty is far too awesome!" A drunk young lad exclaimed in a state of happiness and excitement. What Aeternal Sky Divine Emperor? What Trueborn? What Grand Cyclic Stellar Region? Before His Majesty, they could all only bow their heads in submission in his eyes

"Of course he is! He's from my homeland! How could he not be?! Hehehe!" An old lady with a cane cackled without holding anything back. If it wasn't for the occasion, a few would have thought her mad! However, today of all days, they didn't mind her reckless bragging or insane statements

The day was joyful to the extreme. Not only had the Ascendant Emperor found his Empress, a woman that was beloved by the large majority of the existing population of the Neo-Dawn Starfield after two years of her incredible efforts in stabilizing the starfield, but he conquered the entire eighteen stellar regions! While they weren't privy to the exact details, such as the Aeternal Sky Divine Emperor's defeat and public 'execution', they knew from their souls that Wei Wuyin, their Ascendant Emperor, had claimed the eighteen regions as the Neo-Dawn Stellar Region with indescribable success

This was enough to make them party for days and weeks to months

While the demon cultivators were unable to disturb this good atmosphere, it wasn't that they hadn't tried given their position. Many of them were sickened by this display of happiness and celebration. After all, just a few hours ago, they had determined that each pathetic cretin would be sent to the afterlife. Yet now, they were bound and unable to even move! They became the fish on the chopping block

Unfortunately, they could only curse in their hearts that this Outpost had a Worldly Saint! How was this even a thing? HOW WAS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?!

An extremely tall figure amongst them, with the presence of an endless chasm of unfathomability and corrosion, was the calmest out of the bunch. Directly beside him, tied to the same pillar, was a violet-haired young woman with astonis.h.i.+ng facial features and physical attributes that could enchant monks and eunuchs. She was the definition of 'alluring as a demoness'.

The young woman looked at the tall figure, unable to communicate via transmission, and couldn't help but say: "Has Lord Progenitor responded yet?" The worry in her heart was growing like an untreated weed.

The two words 'Lord Progenitor' caused Zhan You's ears to perk slightly. He was already recording everything syllable and indistinct and incomprehensible screeching, but the t.i.tle left him curious. Zhan You was originally another in his past life, and he had knowledge, experience, and strength far surpa.s.sing most at his former level, such that he was given the right to act as a City Lord within the Endless Voyage Realm. A blessed position that many fought for yet couldn't quite get due to their shortcomings.

He had no shortcomings.

Like Su Nianzu. Unfortunately, Su Nianzu faced an abnormal ent.i.ty among Worldly Saints, a cultivator that possessed the power that only Ascended Saints should possess, and a cultivation base to properly utilize that outstanding advantage. He was also unable to unleash his full means due to the trio of women that were likely captured and the Sealing Array's restrictive forces.

It was quite amusing that someone of his caliber in his past life met his end due to environmental factors, poisoning, and an ambush that coalesced to an irresistible end. While he wasn't the slightest bothered by it, he still possessed those three aspects of himselfknowledge, experience, and strength. Moreover, this was added on by the additional knowledge, experience, and strength bestowed to him by the Nexus War Flag.

The term 'Lord Progenitor' had come up quite often amongst the Endless Voyage Realm's reports of the Ancient Sealed Region. Moreover, those of his status fully understood the significance of that. Even if you took ten thousand steps back, considering a demon was saying thus in the Ancient Sealed Region no less, there was only one conclusion:

The Demonic Sovereign!!!

Normally, Zhan You would have panicked at the mere mention of such a terrifying figure, but he was relatively unbothered and remained disinterested. The feeling left him with a comfortable sensation in his heart. This wasn't just fearlessness, this was a type of mystical type of indifference that a true Soldier of War possessed toward beings far stronger than themselves.

It was as if, as a Soldier of War, it dared to exist in this world, he dared to raise his blade against it without hesitation. The underlying principles of the Law of War could be felt here. This wasn't solely due to the Law of War but determined by the individual wielding the Nexus War Flag, the Banner of this particular Soldier of War.

Wei Wuyin, on some level, wasn't any inferior to the Demonic Sovereign, and this was intrinsically known by him!

The extremely tall figure frowned slightly. He slyly tried to look up unnoticed. He saw their warden not give them a single glance of interest or signs of being on alert.

"Gao Tingyu, we just have to wait." He replied to her question. This inspired the young woman and consoled her growing sense of concern. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter was that Lord Progenitor hadn't responded once since that presence swept the Stellar Region. While he had just barely felt it, it felt as if his destiny was in the hands of another.

The feeling was uncomfortable.

Silently, a white and gold feathered phoenix appeared above the Outpost. Riding on this phoenix was the very figure these folks below were celebrating and heaping praises on. Following close behind was Na Xinyi!

She was immediately taken aback by this unique world. This was the Stellar Nest, right? She only knew of its general details due to Wei Wuyin's open claim of it and the light-based resource of Stellar Rain. She had even been asked by a few disciples to obtain a few Ever-Starlight Pellets if potentially possible. They were life-saving treasures that most would kill for.

Without warning, her intuitive senses flared as she felt as if something incomparably familiar was close. Her grey eyes darted downwards and those pupils of hers expanded. Her breath was instantly caught in her throat. As if disbelieving of reality before her, her gaze s.h.i.+fted to Wei Wuyin whose grin had transformed into a warm smile that hurriedly calmed her riled emotions.

Two words shook her soul.

"Found her," Wei Wuyin said.

Years ago, Na Xinyi had brought her belief that Long Tingyu had been kidnapped by the Demonic Abyss Master, a legendary figure of their home starfield, and asked Wei Wuyin to help find her! While she had no issues handling her personal matters like the Tian Clan's marriage affair or seizing the Divine Origin, Long Tingyu was profoundly important to her, as close as a younger sister, and she needed every ounce of help she could get!

Not only had Wei Wuyin agreed with a smile and a promise, he had actuallyhe had actually

Next to the extremely tall figure was that demonic temptress of a woman, but to Na Xinyi, this was none other than a single person that she yearned to find in her dreams:

LONG TINGYU!
