Chapter 1493 Chapter 1486: Hegemon: Demonic Abyss Lord (1)

The hours flew by as an Azure Dragon and a Fire Phoenix explored the depths of an unnamed realm, traveling and investigating with childlike curiosity every nook and cranny there was. Sometimes with brute force, and sometimes with precise expulsion of scarlet-gold flames or precision spatial powers. The duo was unstoppable

While they played to their heart's content, two others enjoyed a stay in an opulently designed courtyard with a serene decor, involving a koi pond with artificial spiritual lifeforms in the form of koi fish and peach trees that emanated waves of spiritual energy, littered with spiritual jade paved walkways leading to a flouris.h.i.+ng garden of mystical fauna. The peaches themselves had turquoise flesh and magenta skin and tasted abnormally sweet

Near this courtyard was a housing area with only a thinly white sliding part.i.tion acting as a door. The area had two shadowy silhouettes-a man and a woman. The sounds of moans and labored, arousing breaths resounded through the scenery, eliciting activity from the tree and pond in the fork of fluttering winds and rippling waves

The woman was active to an admirable degree, far betraying her true age, revealing a spryness that could match young girls, and vocal energy that could cause even the most trained of monks to blush

The man controlled all else. From the shadowy silhouettes, it was clear who determined position, pace, power, and pleasure. The four P's left the other in total disarray, barely sc.r.a.ping by trying to match such tyrannical prowess with vigor and flexibility. Unfortunately, despite the vast differences in age between the two, the level of experience was vastly different, and the older of the two had no choice but to learn several excitingly new things from the younger

The entirety lasted for hours, filling the air with the scent of pleasantly diffused body aroma that could stimulate mortals to the highest degree with but a sniff

"Mn~! Haaaa...Wo!" A deep breath of exhaustion and satisfaction concluded the tango. Just a moment before, the loudest shouting had just unfolded, enough to cause Bai Lin and Anu, both of whom were finding raw mystic-graded material to shockingly eat and digest with their unique Genesis Beast physiology, to look over. Bai Lin had the smuggest of smiles in her golden eyes, as if to say: "Another one defeated

Despite the vast disparity in their cultivation bases, Bai Lin knew that any woman who entered 'that' particular ring with Wei Wuyin was bound to suffer an unquestionable defeat. If the world got wind of a mere mortal defeating an Ascended being in this form of 'combat', extreme shock and horrified disbelief would be the most common reactions

Wei Wuyin was soon cleansed and clothed. He stood by the edge of the koi pond, his silver eyes observing the artificial lifeforms. Behind him, a middle-aged woman with vast charm for her age, glistening, glowing skin, and bright eyes effusing a new type of fresh, simple feeling was tying her hair into a ponytail and putting the last finis.h.i.+ng touches on her dressing

She eyed Wei Wuyin with a careful gaze. Her mind was both excited and confused. Wei Wuyin was quite clearly a mortal. His Existential Framework was as mortal as could be. While he had various mystic-level qualities, the foundation of his being was indeed a mortal, yet he had no issue engaging in all sorts of intimate acts with her, even to the extent of dual cultivating. She was baffled by this

At first, she was terrified that Wei Wuyin was allowing l.u.s.t to cloud his judgment. Despite that, she was relieved that she still possessed that type of mind-numbing allure. She had even thought that he was slightly ignorant, yet when he took control of the situation, she was left with no way to voice her concerns. Eventually, she could no longer voice her concerns. All that came from her mouth were sounds that she had never made before, not even for her late husband

Who was this heaven-defying mortal? This silver-eyed Worldly Saint Alchemist? This terrifyingly powerful expert of no more than a hundred years old?!

Wei Wuyin waved his hand over the pond and the koi within became increasingly lively. They seemed to have been infused with an increased degree of spirituality. "I'll leave Anu here. You'll have access to every resource within the realm. As for the True Element Sect, I'll have Han Yuhei settle the managing of it until you decide to leave. Of course, if you wish to leave now, that's perfectly fine too."

Wei Wuyin's words were softly spoken yet strongly said. It was a type of contradicting detail within his vocal tone, but felt perfect to Zhang Ziyi's ears. It was that touch of concern. She immediately realized that her status within Wei Wuyin's thoughts was slightly different than before. While she might not be on a level as Xue Yifei or even Lin Xianxian, she was different than a few hours ago.

That alone was enough to cause her heart to pound with indescribable excitement.

"Mn," She didn't go against his arrangements at all. After all, this was a heavenly cultivation ground for her. She wanted to stay, so she nodded with a voice of acceptance.

Wei Wuyin turned to Zhang Ziyi with an unforgettable smile. "Cultivate well."

Kree! Bai Lin had already flown overhead with lightning speed. Wei Wuyin's movement was extremely natural as he propelled upwards and landed directly on Bai Lin's back exactly as she flew over with impeccable timing. Within another breath of time, a Void Portal manifested in their flight path and they both disappeared within.

It was only when watching Wei Wuyin vanish that she was struck by a realization that the Ascendant Emperor of Neo-Dawn could have directly entered this unnamed realm without meeting her. This meant...

Her face blushed with an exuberant shade of pink.

-----

The invasion had toppled a long-standing peaceful atmosphere of the eighteen regions, now known as the Neo-Dawn Stellar Region. For those of the Neo-Dawn Starfield, this was an exciting show that was followed by their Emperor's declaration of rulers.h.i.+p. They were celebrating these few hours with drinks and raving parties. The good and exciting mood was infectious across the two dawns-World Dawn and Defiant Dawn.

While the ill.u.s.trious citizens of the Neo-Dawn Starfield partied, the Ascendants of the Chosen King Compet.i.tion were diligently cultivating in seclusion within a secret realm. They digested their gains and experiences, making leaps and bounds in their cultivation. While the Ascendants of the Neo-Dawn Starfield's organization under Xue Yifei's orders were already mobilizing to seize control and placate the eighteen regions. Most importantly, they were moving toward the Grand Cyclic Stellar Region openly!

Not all of the Ascendants from the Chosen King Compet.i.tion were in this secret realm, however. Na Xinyi was excluded from those sent there. She was actually a part of the resistance against those from the Endless Voyage Realm, guarding the Dark Yin Palace's Main Planet, Immortal Yin with her white sword in hand. The Dark Yin Palace had already become her force as the Extreme Yin Saintess, her strength long surpa.s.sing the Vice-Palace Masters and Palace Master Jun Baiyin.

All who sought to invade her territory were met with either death or capture. This was no exception.

Na Xinyi was rather emotional after Wei Wuyin's declaration across the starry skies. This man's momentum was unstoppable, the stuff of legends, and there was little she could do about it. However, this only invigorated her own Heart of Cultivation. It was as if Wei Wuyin's feats only served to inspire her own will. This type of mentality was profoundly great for her aspiring ambitions.

Moreover, back when she followed Long Chen, feats that had once felt similarly comparably had dissuaded her towards brilliance and leaned into acceptance of her position as a lover and a supporter. This didn't exist toward Wei Wuyin. And she knew why.

Wei Wuyin had never once showcased any envy toward her success and always supported her in every endeavor without the slightest dissuasion or dissatisfaction. There was only a look of trust and a heart of warmth as he respected her choices and pursuit of personal happiness. The feeling left her with the will to strive for greater paths without hesitation as a cultivator, as a woman, and as a person.

That same urge had been met by Long Chen with disdain and hate. There wasn't the slightest will to support her for a better future or any of the other women despite his claim for wanting the 'best' for them. Additionally, and most importantly, both of them had numerous women on their side, yet there wasn't an ounce of insecurity within Wei Wuyin's bones. The only thing she could feel from his gaze was a desire to live freely and defy any restrictive fate. It was inexplicably synonymous with her own, the fate given to her as an incomparably heaven-blessed Yin Cauldron.

Hovering above the uppermost sky layer of the Immortal Yin, her grey eyes glistened as the starry skies reflected in her limpid pupils. The scenery stretching an unfathomable distance was moving to the heart.

Since this world was already his, she wanted to find her own. Na Xinyi's eyes pierced beyond the limits of the Neo-Dawn Stellar Region, pierced beyond the World Between the Fold, and into the World Beyond. The incomparably vast World Beyond.

Kree! Her eyes brightened as she looked in a direction. There wasn't any real indication of his arrival in the flow of s.p.a.ce, but her heart and soul already knew he was coming.

Whoos.h.!.+ Wei Wuyin and Bai Lin exited out of s.p.a.ce as if appearing out of thin air. They were shrouded by a concealment spell that not even Worldly Saints, without focused effort and a powerful sensory spell infused with the power of Law, would be able to detect.

Na Xinyi, however, was the only individual granted the ability to see them. It was as if the Emperor had blessed her with sight, feeling incomparably glorious yet similarly warm to the soul.

Wei Wuyin and Bai Lin arrived beside her, hovering before her at the uppermost sky layer of Immortal Yin. Wei Wuyin had the brightest grin on his unearthly handsome face.

"Been a while!"

Na Xinyi's heart shook; she could tell that Wei Wuyin was genuinely happy to see her, and this made her entire body feel increasingly calm and relieved. Despite those feelings, she still pouted her lips. Wei Wuyin was in the Chosen King Compet.i.tion from the beginning, but she never once sent her a single message or showed himself before 'that' moment. While she was only slightly upset by this, the real key matter was that his appearance coincided with the announcement of Xue Yifei's concubine status removal and simultaneous proposal of marriage.

How could she not be a little upset?

She was his first fiance and felt the will to become his first wife. Now, Xue Yifei would rule over this vast region of s.p.a.ce as the Neo-Dawn Ascendant Empress. Of course, she wasn't so narrow-minded to realize that this was the result of her own choices. In her opinion, if she wanted to, she could openly marry Wei Wuyin tomorrow and announce to the entire world that she would be the Neo-Dawn Ascendant Empress. All the benefits that Xue Yifei would have would easily become hers.

Only this belief eased her internal troubles.

Although she didn't want that life right now, she couldn't just easily accept that Wei Wuyin had been so explosive about their announcement, letting every last individual in the eighteen stellar regions know of their engagement. Was this not flaunting their love?

"Come on. Not even a smile?" Wei Wuyin chuckled playfully as he circled Na Xinyi on Bai Lin. Na Xinyi rolled her eyes, then placed the most fake smile she could muster. Even still, with her beauty, she could still enchant the hearts and minds of countless men. She was truly a fatal factor with indescribable attractive qualities.

Seeing that, Wei Wuyin's chuckle went into a peal of full-blown laughter. "Fine. Fine. But I come bearing good news. You sure you don't want it?"

"News?" Na Xinyi's pouting expression immediately ceased. She didn't really care about Xue Yifei's glorious elevation in status. However, Wei Wuyin was not someone who brought insignificant, casual news. She was immediately focused. "What news?"

Seeing her instantly s.h.i.+ft, Wei Wuyin's level of amus.e.m.e.nt was at an all-time high. He was clearly in an incomparably good mood after the events within the unnamed realm. "Come with me and find out."

Wei Wuyin wasn't usually this playful and indirect, but it didn't matter if he kept her in suspense a little. With a wave of his hand, a Void Portal formed. His mastery of his Void Bloodline was incomparably thorough. With a single thought, manifesting a Void Portal to any location with a Void Anchor placed within was easier than breathing for him.

The aura of the Stellar Nest inexplicably came through the Void Portal. It was chilly and forbidden. This caused Wei Wuyin's eyes to unleash a faint s.h.i.+ne of spiritual light, the Minor Imperial Law aura surged and the chilly aura receded forcefully. However, his grin never left his face.

Kree! Bai Lin rushed into the Void Portal.

"..." Na Xinyi was taken aback. For a moment, she looked at the vast starry sky. Today, she decisively decided to bring up her truest desire. While she instinctively felt that Wei Wuyin wouldn't object or resist, her heart felt a tad bit of sorrow at the thought of it.

"I'll wait. I'll find her first and then I'll tell him," she ultimately decided. Keeping her sword, she flew into the Void Portal.
