"Why do you need so many bodyguards? Are the attempts on your life that big?"

Su Jin Wei shook his head. "No, two are mine, the other two are yours."

Modesty froze and looked at him with a quizzical look on her face. "I knew when you came that you didn't bring any with you, and with your status, you would need them."

"How did you know?" Modesty asked curiously

"I know everything about you my little Modesty."

Modesty stopped walking Su Jin Wei turned to her one eyebrow arched.

"Are you stalking me?"

Su Jin gave her a slight smirk. "No, I am always worried about you. Plus, my father has always promised your father that we would protect you no matter what. I plan to keep that promise."

Modesty's eyes widened she was surprised at his comment and the tender look in his eyes.

"I apologize for my families failure in keeping that promise with the car accident. Where you and your family have suffered, but I hope that you will let me make up for those mistakes."

Modesty nodded her head, she understood why he was watching out for her. She decided to accept the bodyguards. She had planned on hiring some anyway but never got around to it considering she had been here only a few weeks.

"I accept your offer of the bodyguards. How can I repay you?"

Su Jin Wei kept walking and waited for Modesty to step into the car.

"Will you come visit my parents with me tomorrow?

Modesty got in and Su Jin stepped in after her.

"I know that you don't remember them but, they would love to see the daughter of their dear friends again."

Modesty thought for a moment this was excellent she couldn't pa.s.s up the opportunity to question people who were close to her parents.

"Yes, I would love to go with you to see your parents tomorrow."

Su Jin Wei nodded his head and they headed off.
