Chapter 1015 - Rescued

Four minutes have pa.s.sed, and now I reached the same precarious condition I was in a few minutes ago before my healing rule advanced.

The transparent Runic Cover had filled with the cracks, there is not a single surface on it which hadn't been filled with the cracks, and through these cracks, an immense amount of s.p.a.ce particles have been entering inside.

I don't know if I would be able to survive even five seconds under such numbers of s.p.a.ce particles; these particles are really too much; it wouldn't be long before they turned me into a b.l.o.o.d.y powder.

Unlike before, my skin is now completely bloodied and it is because of me drinking potion every moment and circulating the healing rule with all my might, I am alive right now, but not much longer, in two to three seconds, I would be completely dead.

Buzz!

I was just continuing with my survival of the seconds, but I heard a familiar 'Buzz' deep into my mind, and the next moment, all the s.p.a.ce particles I had in my body got sucked toward a certain place.

Every new s.p.a.ce particle that is entering my body is getting sucked there, and as for who is sucking it, it is my Tower. It is my Refinement Engine sucking up all the s.p.a.ce particles and storing them into the base.

I don't know what it was trying to do, but I am more than happy it is doing; with all the s.p.a.ce particles in me getting sucked, the pressure on me lessened considerably.

Now, I just have to be worried about the particle entering my body, which is huge in huge numbers, but I could handle them easily with the help of my killing Rule and potions.

After having a moment of rest, I looked at the Tower. Like I had seen a second ago, it had been sucking all the s.p.a.ce particles and storing them in its base; I could see more and more s.p.a.ce particles being added every moment in its base.

I don't know what it is going to do with nor care, I am grateful enough that it has given me precious few seconds of the to live.

I opened my eyes and looked at the s.p.a.ce Waves again, which are present everywhere. It is such an ethereal scene, and to be honest, I am quite happy I am dying in such a beautiful place rather under the blade of the Grimm Monster.

I do not have any ambition to die in battle; I always wanted a peaceful death at a scenic place.

Though most of my wishes would never come true, this one coming is making me happy; I don't want to die while feeling angry.

Looking a few seconds at the s.p.a.ce waves, I looked at the Transparent Runic Barrier, which is protecting me.

It is filled with s.p.a.ce cracks and thousands of s.p.a.ce particles coming inside every moment, but despite that, it is not getting big cracks.

It is still holding on very tightly and holds on for another fifty-second before it finally disappears, and I will embrace death finally.

As death was second away, my whole life started to reply in front of me, and watching it, I felt somehow content.

I could say that I lived my fullest, though these are hundreds of regrets I am leaving behind but who don't have them.

Even those who lived their life fully died with regret. So, me having a few hundred regrets is a normal thing.

Forty seconds pa.s.sed, and now only the last ten seconds are remaining; I've counting seconds since the Protection Amulet activated. I might get one two-second behind, but that is all.

'I still have little more than five seconds to enjoy this Ethereal scene,' I thought as I continued to look at the beautiful s.p.a.ce waves.

"Interesting, I had never thought to find someone in the vast s.p.a.ce Sea." I heard from behind, when I looked back, I saw two feminine figures enveloped in dense aqua blue energy.

Even though I could not see their faces, I could tell that one is a little older while one is young.

I opened my mouth and asked her to help me when suddenly the aqua blue energy that had been covering them had enveloped me, and before everything went dark and when light appeared again, I found myself in an opulent hall.

That is what it seemed like, as I don't know what it really looked like as I am covered in thick aqua blue-colored energy, which made it really hard to see outside.

"Boy, wear some clothes." said the feminine voice, hearing that I came to myself and realized I am completely n.a.k.e.d. In the shock of being rescued from the Jaws of death, my mind is a little muddled.

I quickly took out my clothes and wore them; just as I finished, the aqua blue energy covered in front of me had disappeared, and I came face to face across an enchantingly beautiful woman who looked to be in her early thirties.

She had a dark purple gain, and deep blue eyes, and her height is slightly lower than me, and the most important factor about her is that she is extremely powerful.

I don't know how powerful she is, as when I looked at her I found her power fluctuating sometimes she seemed little more powerful than those two who had been oppressing me while other times her power seemed quite close to Ellen's teacher.

It is very confusing.

"Thank You for saving my life, ma'am," I said and bowed politely. She had saved my life; this is the great favor she had done to me, which I will never forget in my whole life.

"You! How are you here?"

I heard the familiar voice, and when I looked toward her, I found a familiar face staring at me.

I looked at the familiar face and got quite surprised by the aura she is giving off as I had thought, I had left her far behind with my current progress.

The girl in front of me, Elina Benz was the Vice Guild Master of Raging Thunder at the Outpost and also the person who forced me to sell the Totem Blueprints to her.

When I met her a year ago, she was just a Silver Elite, but now she is not only peak Adamantine but has an aura powerful enough that she is giving me the feeling of threat.

"Do you know him, Ellie?" asked the beautiful woman to Elina, "We just had a brief contact in the outpost," she replied. These two seem to know each other very well, and seeing the facial familiarity; they seemed to be sisters.

"Boy, I don't know what sort of luck you have to be born with to be saved by the s.p.a.ce Sea," she said in wonder. S

he is right; the s.p.a.ce sea is infinite, finding me when they are traveling through the s.p.a.ce sea could be said to be a huge miracle.

"Once again, thank you, ma'am, for saving me," I said again, to that she waved her hand. "It is no trouble, any other human in my place would have done that," she said noncommittally.

Seeing that I couldn't help but disagree, the s.p.a.ce sea is extremely dangerous and that even people like Ellen's teacher have to be careful, her saving me is taking huge risks about her own safety.
