15 Chapter 15: Card Games

"Well, are we gonna do something else?" Matthew looks to his schedule.

"I believe there are no more cla.s.ses after this," Charles responds.

"Then let's do it!" Fred raises his arms in enthusiasm.

"Are you sure you can play with us? Maybe you have some kind of date with a girl and you might leave again." Matthew squints his eyes.

"No. I canceled all my dates with my girls. It's time to spend time with my bros and gal." He points to me.

"Well last time. When we were babysitting my sister. Someone invited a s.l.u.tty girl into my house giving my parents the wrong ideas...." Matthew glares at Fred.

"Fine. I'll cancel my other date now so there's no chance of them coming over." Fred reaches for his phone. Typing in something.

After his typing, we hear a lot of notifications ringing as we walked.

"Can you mute your phone?" Matthew asks annoyed.

"This girl is being a bit clingy let me just block her." Fred grabs his phone blocking the girl from stopping the notifications.

"Wouldn't that hurt that girl's feelings?" I say to him.

"Well, it's not like we were even together so it's fine. A lot of women block men they aren't interested in so is it bad that I block the women I'm not interested in." Fred scratches his head.

"I guess.... That makes sense...." I sigh.

I've never really been blocked by anyone yet. I never really approached anyone I liked before. I was always shy.

"Anyways let's play in the science lab!" Fred points at the science lab door.

"Are you sure we should be playing in the science lab after what happened?" I ask as I stare at Fred.

That time I got doused pheromone perfume and h.o.r.n.y men chased after me wanting to do who knows what to me.

"Lisa's right. We might damage something in the science lab if we aren't careful." Matthew nods in agreement.

"Tsk tsk. Then where should we play then?" Fred snickers before laying down the bottle.

"Maybe let's play at your dorm Fred." Matthew looks.

Fred's eyes widen then blush. We all look at him in bewilderment.

"My room is a bit of a mess right now so you can't," Fred says looking away.

"We can play in my dorm. I ain't exactly hiding anything!" Charles suggests.

"Oh, that's good! Let's go." We all agree and walked to Charles' room.

I've never been to Charles's room but clearly he is very rich and loaded so I wonder what's inside his dorm room.

We open the door of the dorm, greeting us with a servant. "h.e.l.lo, Young Master Charles."

"h.e.l.lo, Jaune. Please prepare some tea and crumpets for our guests." Charles tells his servant.

His servant nodded leaving to go to the kitchen.

All our jaws drop as we look at the luxuries Charles has... Life is definitely not fair...

"Why is your dorm so different... It looks the same with the other dorms outside but inside it looks like a 5-star hotel." Matthew shakes his head.

"d.a.m.n! I wish I was born in with a silver spoon." Fred laughs sitting down on the comfy couch.

I sit down on the couch as it sinks like a fluffy cloud... It's like pure heaven and bliss laying down on it.

"Let's play guys! Are you guys just gonna admire my dorm?" Charles laughs.

I always saw Charles as a very friendly person. I heard he donated to a lot of charities whenever he can and he is indeed an icon in helping other people. Looking at him now though... I feel like something is wrong...

"Hey what's this door?" Matthew points in a red door.

"Oh, that's another dorm room. But usually, it's locked." Charles smiles.

Just something about him gives me bad vibes...

Like that one time, he was able to find out where my dorm was... and he conveniently saved me from the kidnappers when I met up with Rose before. Also that horrible dream about him killing everyone... It's just giving me the creeps.

"Hey, Lisa? Are you alright?" Charles smiles.

"Oh.. I'm fine... I'm just admiring your dorm!" I smile at him.

"Come on let's start playing!" Fred drops down the cards.

We all had fun laughing and screaming at whoever was losing. Fred seems to be very good with the game while Matthew keeps losing horribly making them yell at each other a lot since Fred often teases Matthew if he loses which is every time.

With these fun times, my mind kept lingering around the room. I might be playing but my vision and focus are in that mysterious dorm room. That red door screaming at me...

"The tea and crumpets are ready!" The servant yells. "Can you gentlemen please a.s.sist me in getting them!"

"Come on get it loser!" Fred teases Matthew.

Matthew rolls his eyes before standing up.

"Alright, then I'll go grab it!" Matthew goes to the kitchen.

Fred looks guilty before standing up too.

"On second thought I'll help him also. He's a bit weak to carry all of it!" Fred leaves as well following Matthew.

"So are you enjoying our time together thus far?" Charles smiles.

His innocent smile shoots daggers at me... It makes me feel anxious. I don't know but something about Charles is just suspicious.

"Tell me more about that dorm room over there." I smile at him.

"Well someone lives there but they usually don't go out." He smiles.

"Help...."

My heart drops as I faintly hear a voice a little girl in the door.

"Did you hear that?! Someone needs help!" I stand up.

"I didn't hear anything." Charles looks at me in confusion.

"I..." Am I going crazy... I could have sworn I heard something...

"Oh my... It's getting quite late. It would be best for all of you to go now." The servant appears in the room with Fred and Matthew holding backed lunchboxes.

"I cooked some food for all of you it must be hard to get dinner now since the cafeteria is closed now. Thank you for spending time with young master Charles." The servant smiles handing me the packed lunchbox.

"Goodbye! Stay safe walking back to your dorms." Charles opens the door.

"Thank you for letting us play!" Fred thanks, Charles.

"By the way let's go tomorrow! To the convention with Rose." Charles tells everyone.

"Okay then." Both Matthew and Fred nodded in agreement leaving with their packed lunch boxes.

"Goodbye Lisa." Charles smiles.

"It hurts...."

A voice of the girl echoes in my mind as I looked in the red door again.

"Goodbye." I smile at Charles walking away..

Am I going crazy... What.. was that... could it be... Charles... I don't know... what's going on...there must be someone in behind that door.
