Chapter 154 - Calm Down

Moments went by and the couple remained there standing while the cascading drops of water fell on them, soaking them both and the surrounding area.

Because of the continuous flow of the cold water pouring on her, it helped her throbbing head to gradually cool down and clear her mind.

Finally, Davi s.h.i.+fted away from the shower head and opened her eyes. She was stunned when she realized that she was leaning towards Sei's chest the whole time, and that his hands were wrapped on her slim waist.

"S-sei?" she uttered as she tried facing towards him, but the man stopped her from turning. He held both of her shoulders as he moved one step away from her. Causing Davi's brows to furrow a little when her husband asked her…

"A-are you feeling better now?" he gently asked.

"Mm… I think I'm good now." She replied even though she's still feeling weak due to her hangover. Sei still didn't let her face him so Davi was starting to wonder. But the moment she lowered her face and saw her drenched body, she immediately turned red.

'I-is this the reason why he doesn't want me to turn to look at him?'

Davi then remembered the day when she stripped her clothes and became n.a.k.e.d before his eyes. Back then, she thought that he would like it, but Sei just covered her with her robe.

'Err… does he not really want to see me like this? Or is he just shy? Or is there any other reason?'

Wondering about the reasons why, Davi just decided to spare her innocent husband this time. Besides, she thought that even though this was such a good opportunity, she just didn't have enough energy to seduce him at the moment.

"Okay, I'll wait for you outside. Don't lock the door." He replied and when he made sure that his wife's stance was indeed stable, he finally stepped out of the bathroom.

The moment he got out of the bathroom, Sei immediately released a sigh of relief as he leaned at the bathroom's door. He felt like he just survived an extreme heart pounding battle. He raised his hand and covered his mouth. Then, he raised his other hand and run it through his hair as he mumbled to himself.

'Calm down… calm down…'

Meanwhile, the girl who was left inside the bathroom used the edge of the tub to support herself as she struggled to remove her clothes and bathed herself sluggishly.

However, while she was busy rubbing the shampoo into her hair, she began to remember what happened last night. She remembered that Sei was injured, yet she was not allowed to see him. She remembered that she went to see Hinari and drank the night away because she was really hurt. She remembered herself telling Sei to run away with her. And finally, she remembered herself straddling him, telling him to close his eyes and…

She tugged her hair as she squatted down on the floor, feeling hot again under the pouring water.

'Wait… what happened after that? Did I really teach him the French kiss? Did I?'

She forced herself to remember, but to her dismay, she couldn't. It seems like that part of her memory was lost as if someone did a memory wipe of what had actually happened after that.

She rinsed the soap out of her hair as she tried hard to remember...
