Chapter 153 - Drenched

Gray mansion…

The moment Sei put down his cellphone, he walked towards his wife who was sleeping on the bed. He stood there for a while as he stared at her like a troubled little beast wagging his tail and silently whimpering because of his dilemma. He was currently thinking whether he should wake her up or not.

'She finally fell asleep again… should I wake her up? What if she will feel worse once I interrupt her sleep…?'

Moments went by and the troubled Sei remained motionless. His gaze was locked unto her face while his eyes reflected a gentle light as if he was trying to cure her with the power of his loving gaze.

Time pa.s.sed and the girl suddenly furrowed her brows, causing Sei to move towards her. Slowly, Davi opened her eyes but again, she immediately shut them due to the brightness of the room.

Sei on the other hand gently checked her forehead and when he confirmed that her temperature was already normal, he finally spoke.

"D-does your head still hurt?" Sei asked when Davi just smiled and lightly shook her head.

"Your friend said, you should take a cold bath so you will feel better." He added and Davi knitted her brows upon hearing him.

'Hinari? Did he ask her?'

Davi was about to refuse because she can feel that she couldn't stand on her own yet, but the moment she remembered Hinari throwing her in a tub full of cold water when she was suffering from an awful hangover back then, she just nodded. Her head was still a mess and she couldn't remember whether it did help her that time or not.

However, all she wanted that very moment was for her awful hangover to disappear and so that Sei will stop worrying about her.

Upon seeing her nod, Sei immediately helped her sit propped up on the bed and adjusted the pillows to let her lean back on the headboard.

"Wait here for a while," then he rushed out of the room to call for the maids so they could a.s.sist her. He thought that he wanted to do it himself, but he remembered the time she rejected his offer to help her take a bath.

But to his surprise, the butler informed him that the maids already left this morning for their vacation. Leaving him with no choice but to immediately return to their room.

"The maids are not around so I will be the one to help you take a bath." He said but the girl who was still in a bad shape didn't respond to him. Instead, she just crawled sluggishly to leave the bed. Causing Sei to immediately move and helped her.

"I'll carry you." He then said and the girl just nodded without any word.

Walking to the bathroom, Sei entered the shower with his dearest wife in his arms. He put her down neatly on the floor and the girl sluggishly stood on her feet.

Afraid that she would fall if he let her go, Sei held her waist from behind to support her.

Just as Sei was about to ask her what to do next the girl suddenly lifted her hand and turned the water on without warning.

Splashes of cold water poured nonstop towards them both soaking wet from head to toe.

In that moment, Sei did not move. He just let the water flow towards them. In the meantime, the girl in his arms leaned her head back onto his chest to slightly lift her face, as if she was basking in the water to fall on her face.

Her eyes were still closed and she still felt weak, however, the moment Sei looked down and laid his eyes on her face being drenched with water, Sei began to look at her with wonder in his eyes, as if the person in front of him was the most beautiful person to ever exist in the entire universe.

His eyes were locked unto her face for a long while before it gradually fell into her perfect red lips and then down to her beautiful chest.

Despite of the cold water flowing above their heads, Sei started to feel unbelievably hot upon looking at that certain part of her body. Because her s.h.i.+rt was thin and the moment it was drenched with water, it conformed to trace her perfectly shaped body.

Upon realizing their current situation, Sei's heart began to palpitate. He didn't move his hands that were on her waist, as though he was suddenly struck by something and has turned him into stone.
