4 Pyxie Oruki

"Did they come back for revenge?" He asked himself.

"Well no time for thinking, I get feeling the that Pyxie might be in need of my a.s.sistance."

The panic began and before he knew it, the same feeling surged again. The right eye which is normally black began to intensify into a much contrasting white color. Soon after, everything slowed down as usual, but it was different. Unlike the previous times, Kigen knew he was in control, he felt extraordinary as if he were a G.o.d or something close to that power, an angel or a demon? Without asking any rational question, he got himself mentally and physically ready to sprint into the alleyway without worrying about the consequences. The moment he pushed down his dominant leg onto the ground, he blew straight past the guys standing guard near the entrance.

The move was so swift it seemed instantaneous, as for the speed, it appears like, it was close to rivaling that of a blink of an eye. In the trance of traveling at a very high speed, just before reaching Pyxie's house, a strange vibrant purple portal which looked like was alive, opened. Kigen desperately tried to halt but the vortex swallowed him, so much for going ultrfast. Once inside, the strange sensation which he feels every time the strange power manifest itself could be felt throughout his body as he floated weightlessly without any control, destination, unknown. For all he knew, he probably was abducted by aliens or just died.

Nevertheless, before comprehending the situation he was on, he ended up inside a bizarre looking chamber. While it felt empty, it also felt heavy, half of the room was in black while the other was in white. Both colors seemed to be at war with each other, just the Yin-Yang. Clarity trying to overtake obscurity and vice versa, to his surprise the colors felt to be rather soothing seeing that there is always another face, just like a coin. Out of nowhere, two other-worldly ent.i.ties materialized from out of nowhere. The one on the left side was black; he resembled a demon all the while the one on the right was white just like an angel.

Coming into existence, they both marched onward towards him while holding hands. Afterward, it appeared as if they were fusing with one another. Following that, a perplexing light dazzled him from which a new ent.i.ty came forth. He was a combination of both those apparitions. It had both an angelic halo, all the while bearing horns on its head. The wings at the back were both angelic and demon in nature, the aura surrounding that demonic angel was of both purity and malice. Kigen confused, started talking.

"HEY! Who and what are you? Where am I, can I go out? My friend needs help." He asked in quick succession just like a machinegun.

"Do you ever shut up kid, you sure do ask a lot of question. Be at ease young child, all your query will be answered soon enough but for now, just know that we are you." The ent.i.ty replied with a forced mysterious accent trying to sound cool.

"Alright, well can you drop that fake a.s.s accent you're just making it worse. Aren't you supposed to be cool for someone who's probably powerful? Just for your information a kitten probably is more frightening than you are now." He fired back unimpressed.

"Kid, I swear I would kill you if I could, but you are me. Anyhow, I shall release you after giving you this."

"You're not planning to f.u.c.k me, are you?" Kigen asked genuinely concerned.

"Alright just shut up and take it." He replied nonchalantly.

"Yep, you are a pervert."

Without paying attention to what Kigen said, the figure came closer and ordered, "Give me your hands kid."

Kigen obeyed as he had no other choice left. It started to separate, the white side held Kigen's right hand while the other dark side held the other, subsequently, this apparition used its forehead to make contact with Kigen's forehead.

"Whoosh," And just like that, he was in the real world again. His short nap was broken, and he woke up as if dying in a nightmare. While trying to recall what transpired, something was different about him. It was the pupils became more of a kite-shape, and slowly emitted both a white and black aura, the difference was there even though it was subtle. Getting back on his feet, he continued the sprint towards Pyxie's house.

Everything was slowed down again but he felt like he was even faster and was also in complete control. Sadly, once arrived, he searched everywhere with no avail. It was as if she had vanished into thin air; there was not even a sign of struggle as the apartment was still clean with all the furniture still in their rightful place. So many questions filled his trail of thoughts, he was utterly useless towards the one person he swore to protect. Being powerless and not knowing what to do, the eyes went back to normal. Our main character was at an old time low, he was desperately trying to hold back his tears. After a final swoop of the entire apartment, in hopes of finding even the slightest bit of clue, eventually gave up. On the way out just before exiting, on the table, there was a piece of paper.

It was some sort of admission form, name of the applicant, Pyxie Oruki. He finally lost the battle against his emotions; tears began to flow down our beloved main character's cheeks just like dew falling off a flower petal at dawn. The latter steadily made its way along Kigen's cheeks and finally ended its journey at on the tip of his jaw. It left its place of origin and fell gracefully towards the ground all the while bathing in the last ray of sunlight as dusk was setting in.
