Let's go back a few months prior, this is the story of my life, and how it was changed from good to worst in a matter of months. My name is Kigen Tawakari. There's nothing much about me which stands out, I'm an average guy who loves gaming and doing stupid stuff like going to McDonald's and ordering KFC. However, I never intended for that to take place, I was just sleepy. Luckily, people found it hilarious so I became the guy who does stupid s.h.i.+t for attention. The reason I did that was because I was desperate for attention, which I never got due to the fact that I never knew my biological parents. I was raised by my lovely grandmother and grandfather who filled in the place parents that I never had. I'm truly grateful to them because they've corrected my path in life so many times to which all together made me into a better person.

Whilst growing up, I was bullied for having weird looking eyes. The doctors said that it was just a variation in my genes or something like that, basically a mutation. It's rather strange as my right eye was of white color and the other was black.

To stop all the hara.s.sments of being called blind and looked down upon by other kids which were brutal due to the fact that kids don't have a filter, my grandfather one day got me a contact lens for my right eye in hopes of making it look normal.

Going to high school is still a pain, I hate studying with a pa.s.sion. Luckily with the little gang, I created thanks to a friend, the school became more bearable and going through the same monotonous routine became less boring.

"Bang! Bang!" Its G.o.d d.a.m.ned seven o'clock, who the h.e.l.l can that be? I swear people who knock on a young man's door at this hour should be sent in jail. My all inspiriting soliloquy being rudely being interrupted in such a matter by someone physically a.s.saulting my door as if it were a punching bag, despicable.

After a quick glance at the clock which indicated seven o'clock, the knocking became more and more intense. At this moment of time, it seemed as if a murderer was pursing whoever that was. My not so s.a.d.i.s.tic mind wanted to see that probability become a reality but in fear of my poor, helpless, door breaking. I decided to see what was going on.

Looking through the peephole, s.h.i.+vers went straight down my spine, it was the aforementioned friend who helped me create the gang. The reason I was so scared is that her personality was even worse than mine, she's crazy, violent and unpredictable just like a loose cannon. Her name is Summer Wade, she always had the bad habit of coming to my house at the worst possible times. Living alone and not wanting to die a virgin, I took a deep breath and decided to let her in.

Moments before reaching the house, Summer was looking at the ground, walking at a much faster pace than usual.

"Oh no, now I'm p.i.s.sed, I asked Kigen to call me when he got back so that we did our homework together but he didn't. If he is not at home, he's a dead man."- she thought to herself as anger slowly built up inside.

Once at her destination, Summer started pounding at the door whilst shouting,

"KIGEN! Open up, you dumba.s.s, ill count to three and if that door isn't opened by three or when I get tired, kiss your life goodbye."

Hearing her threats, I gave in and opened the door. The instant the door clicked, for a split second, I saw her blue eyes turn red. Closing my eyes whilst reciting a few last prayers, I knew what was coming. A few seconds later, after everything went blank, I found myself on the ground with Summer on top of me holding on a fork she had found on the stairs. A nutjob with a fork in her hand, this is going to get better, right?

"Kigen you're a dead man, I told you to call me when you came back, you d.i.c.khead." She said in anger while gritting her teeth.

"Summer WAIT! I forgot I had some important stuff to finish, I swear I'll make it up to you." He quickly shot back in hope of calming her down.

After a brief pause, he continued with, "I don't think you've realized this but you're on top of me. Not saying that I don't like it but GET OFF FAT a.s.s!"

"Ok that's it, I'm alright and calm now don't worry." She replied sarcastically.

The instant those words came out of my mouth, I knew that I had dug my own grave and next thing which followed was the fork ending up inside my right hand. With blood rapidly gus.h.i.+ng out, both of them got up and continued their conversation as if this was normal for them.

"Summer, why do you have to be so short tempered. Hurry up and find me a bandage or do you want me to bleed out to death."

"Sorry not sorry, serves you right for calling me a fat a.s.s." She replied trying to justify her actions.

After tending to Kigen's wounds, they both headed into the living room and watched TV whilst doing homework. After a few minutes of awkward silence, summer decided to break the ice and talk,

"You're lucky you got me as a friend, I'm doing our homework by myself. You should be grateful."

"Well I would have but somebody decided to stab me." He replied sarcastically.

"Where are your grandparents Kigen?" She asked in hopes of changing the conversation

"Well, they went abroad and are not coming back any time soon. So basically, I'm on my own for two or three years."

"So, you don't mind if I crash here tonight, it's getting rather late and on top of that, it's cold outside. Don't worry about my parents; they are oblivious to what I do and also it's not like you're going to do anything remotely deviant even if I forced you to, virgin"

Ignoring the virgin remark, he continued the conversation with, "Sure, whatever floats your boat but please don't snore like last time."

"Hha funny, as far as I remember it was you who sounded like an exhaust pipe.

After that, they both headed to sleep. Kigen was on the couch even though there was a guest room meanwhile Summer was on his bed.

The next day, six o'clock in the morning, Summer was already wide awake inside the kitchen making breakfast. Meanwhile, Kigen was still sound asleep with the upper half of his body on the couch and the rest on the floor.

"This dumba.s.s, I swear. I got a call from mom saying that I'll have to live with him because his grandparents asked us a favor. If this is what I have to endure each day I swear I'll go mad, Time to wake him up".

After finis.h.i.+ng speaking to herself, she grabbed a frying pan alongside a spoon and started hitting it like a bell. "Ding, Ding, Ding:"

"WAKE UP! YOU LAZY DUMBa.s.s." She shouted from the kitchen.

She kept doing that for about thirty seconds which finally broke his slumber. Kigen woke up shocked as if waking from a nightmare.

"WHO THE f.u.c.k IS MAKING ALL THAT NOISE, CAN'T I EVEN SLEEP IN MY OWN HOUSE!"

Forced to wake up, Kigen still half asleep, walked slowly towards the kitchen. Summer grabbed a mug, filled with ice cold water from the fridge and threw it at him.

"AGHHHH! It's cold, can't you just say good morning like normal people."

"Yes, I can but for you no, because you're not normal, how can someone be so lazy."

"How can someone be such a fata.s.s?" He whispered to himself

She heard it; her eyes turned red. "Who did you call fata.s.s?" She asked whilst gritting her teeth.

"You heard that?" He replied while slowly turning pale.

"Awe, thank you, it's a compliment really, come here I'll give you a hug."

As he moved in closer for the hug, "Bong" smacked by the pan right on the dome.

"Even though you're a dumba.s.s I enjoy your company and guess what, I'll be staying at your place from now on.

"WAIT WHAT!?!"

After breakfast, they both got on their uniforms and headed to school. It was the start of a new semester. Summer was very happy as she was the popular kid at school, Meanwhile Kigen didn't actually care as people in his cla.s.sroom thought he was a weirdo because of the aura he gave out. Besides he only had two guys who he thought were his real friends, Anki and Kygo.

Before reaching school, on the road, Kigen accompanied by Summer met up with Anki and Kygo at the local Cafe.

"h.e.l.loooooo, Kigen and Summer. Long time no see." Anki melodically sang to greet his friends.

"Cut it out its been only two-month dumba.s.s" Kigen replied in hope of making him stop the cringy 'melodic h.e.l.lo'.

Summer stomped on Kigen's foot, "Watch it, is that a way to talk to your friend and yes Anki longtime no see." She said trying to put some sense into that thick head of his.

"Hey everyone, I see no one has changed especially you Kigen still as mysterious and bit of an a.s.shole as always. Summer you, on the other hand, have changed, you're even prettier." Kygo jumped in the conversation in hopes of calming the atmosphere.

"Check your eyes," Kigen whispered.

Everyone heard it, Anki busted out laughing, Kygo was scared about what Summer was going to do due to her temper. Kigen stared at Summer and hugged her

"Chill it's only a joke." He replied to calm her down.

"It's fine, why are you guys so scared it's not like my eyes are going to turn red with me hitting you." She replied sarcastically.

Following her reply, Kigen was slapped but it wasn't as hard as usual, Summer was joking for once and everyone was shocked

"You have changed!" Kygo shouted whilst being baffled.

"Let's go or we will be late," Anki demanded.
