9 It Is Useful

"Naga!" the old orc is calling him while running.

Naga looked at them while holding a book. "It seems they are gone. The guards and the f**kers who ambushed us left already. hahaha." the blue-haired bandit is really happy now.

The guards and the tiger just left them without any care. Their group didn't know but the tiger scholar left because he received a warning that their teritory is being raided by one of the strongest clans with the help of some small clans who wanted to make name in the area.

"Where did you get that kid?" the old elf asked curiously. He is looking at the book with a serious expression. The book seems magical but not. He is not sure actually.

"Oh, this? This book suddenly appeared in front of me? It is empty. It seems special but seems ordinary too. Do you like it, Old Samuel? Here." Naga said without a care and he is giving the book to the old elf.

"Ahhh... Perhaps it's a gift from the lord statue. Please keep the relic. It's useful." Old Samuel declined. He believed that Naga is the faithed owner of this relic. He doesn't know what really the book is but he knows that it is not for him.

"Useful? yeah, hopefully." Naga answered without any expectation. This is the first item he got after arriving to this world so he decided to keep it now specially that the old elf declined his offer.

"What now?" Old Drun asked. He is thinking of what they will do next. He doesn't have anyplace to call home now so it is better to look for something else to do.

"I think other prisoners went their own way due to the ambush. Are we going to look for the survivors?" Old Samuel asked. He is worried that something bad will happen to them. He is a kind man who always think of others.

"Nahh. There's no need. They got their freedom. They didn't help us because they think it is better to do it themselves. They will survive." said by the blond bandit.

"If they will not survive and die, at least they will not die as slaves." reminder from the red-haired bandit.

"That's right leave them. So what's next? The four of us have nothing else to do. Let's stick together, okay? Hahaha." the blue-haired bandit is jist looking for fun.

"Yes, I think it is best for us to stay together." Naga smiled at them. The group decided to stay together. They reached the agreement of going to the empire for a visit. They are going to the Holy Forest as well, this is requested by the old elf. However, they can't do it right now since there will be a destructive war of clans moving forward. Visiting the empire is important for their preparation.

"The cargo was destroyed. How many days before we reach the empire by foot?" Naga asked.

"Tsk. Leave it to me. I am not a magic blacksmith for nothing." Old Drun proudly commented.

"That's right. Oh, Old Drun. We will get the weapons and armors of the dead guards and warriors so used it as well to create temporary weapons that will suit us." this idea came from the green-haired bandit. He seems to be the leader of the bandit group too.

"Not a problem! Let's start working now." Old Drun is full of vigor. As a magic blacksmith, he is really having fun with the task.

Naga doesn't know what exactly a magic blacksmith is but he will not ask for now. Old Samuel told him to try checking the book again and have some time with it too so he decided to rest at the feet of the statue while checking the book.

Mean while the four bandits are busy. The blond and the blue-haired are checking valueable items, golds and other boxes as well hoping for clothes since aside from the slave trade the beast are also going to sell some items in the empire. The green-haired and red-haired gathered weapons and armors. After delivering the items to the old orc, they help with any labor that will require them too.

After some time, a new cargo is created and the group is done consolidating the items useful to their adventure. When the group is celebrating because of what they achieve, there was suddenly a golden light near the statue. They all ran into it aside from the silent lunatic who is looking at the sky. They saw Naga controlling a small golden orb.

"Old Samuel, you are correct. This book is useful." He told the group while smiling.
