Three giant guards attack the front while the other four are waiting for a chance to capture the slaves. They are all monsters averaging 3 meters in height. They don't think seriously about these slaves aside from the two old men at the back.

The four bandits panicked. Only the red-haired and green-haired bandit can successfully attack since both of them are skilled with fusing magic to their body and strike head-on. They don't have weapons after all. They only have the broken chains to use at their disposal. They are not multi-weapon specialist so the chances are those chains will not going to be a huge help. Both of them attacked different target.

The blond and the blue-haired bandits combined their attack. Both of them are mages so they blast flame and lightning at the same time. They are in the same group for years now so they are quite familiar with each other.

The guards were surprised specially the four who are watching since they saw how the four slaves execute their attacks. Naga admired the cooperation of the four. The old two men just smile while still fending attacks from the back of the group. Everyone can't believe that they are just bandits before.

The four guards decided not to wait anymore and decided to attack. aside from the four bandits, two old men and Naga, there are 5 other slaves too in the group. Seeing the four guards attacking, four of the slaves panicked and ran to different direction. Naga just watch them leaving and saw that only the silent lunatic is with him.

Naga suddenly stopped from running and he turned around forcefully using his left foot, he did this manuever while holding a broken chain and he did this to gather enough force and distance in attacking using the chain. The giant guard at the front was flabbergasted when he notices that a chain pa.s.s through him and that the kid is already flying in front of him holding the chain and it seems like the chain is pulling the kid. Then, the guard was surprised when suddenly the kid stopped mid air and pulled the chain back. He tried to slash using his saber but something hit him from behind and he saw the kid jump side ways and roll then started running again.

The guard was. .h.i.t behind and stumbled. He was shocked when he learned that the kid use the chain to capture the hand of the other guard and pulled it for them to collide. Both of the guards can't believe it. They didn't receive any damage but they are defeated. This causes delay in their movement and cause confusion to the group.

"F**k it! Get that d.a.m.ned rat!" the guard was so furious. The two remaining guards rush over when suddenly multiple black spikes penetrated them. Everyone stopped and saw that there's a middle-aged man standing. It is the silent lunatic, the failed human experiment. They were all shocked when they notice that the spikes are not external weapons but actually the man's fungers. The man now has black giant demonic arms.

Naga is still running and didn't see what happen. "b.a.s.t.a.r.ds. This is so stupid. This body really needs training. Those were just simple moves and it hurts my arms and ankle? Tsk."

He is now at the front of the statue. This is really a huge statue, at least around 50 meters. He can now have a better view of the fighting scene and with this he remembered the days when he's still a general watching the battlefied. He saw that two guards already died and the two old men successfully defeated the guards at the back and now helping the former bandits. His thinking how special really those two old men. He looked at the other side and frown.

He saw the silent lunatic man killing the guards he attacked with the chains before. "This guy is really reeking too much sinister within. That's right, he is really one of those people who are not good to be friend with. Well, I will also not going to offend this demon. Experimented human, huh?" He remembered the time when one of their enemy countries tried to experiment on human lives too.

The overall situation is in their favor. He saw the tiger looking scholar commanding retreat. He thinks how unfortunate it for the guards since there are a.s.sa.s.sins in the shadow and those devils are following the retreating them. He saw the tiger looking at him before using a foreceful leap towards the other side of the forest.

"Idiot. Tsk." he chuckles while thinking what to do next. He decided to rest and he will wait here for the other prisoners. He's sitting at the feet of the statue when suddenly a light descended down and a large sound follwed

"Boom! Argh." there's a thing on the ground.

"A book? An old book huh?" Naga looked up to the statue holding a book before picking the old book.
