174 Jealousy

He'd been working on all of these for a long time, trying different ingredients and searching for the best places to buy what he needed. For Lucas, cooking was an art. He needed everything to be perfect. Once that was done, then that was when marketing and the actually building of his restaurant came in to play.

After the months, he was finally satisfied with everything he had.

He was absolutely confident in his recipes.

Yoona was really proud of him. Before, when it came to Bianchi, he had to use the recipes from the restaurant. But to see him finally using his true talents to create his craft made her feel as if he grown up a lot.

So far, his recipes had run well with the higher-ups in the company and after they had a taste of Lucas's dish, they were more than delighted to approve the establishment of this restaurant. It was too good, there was no way they could say no. Now, what they had to do was determine the finances and their marketing strategy.

Yoona spun the pen in her hand. "So… Will I ever get to taste these dishes? You know, for inspiration and stuff."

He sent her a dead look. "Don't you have professional chefs for your everyday meals anyways Ms. CEO's girlfriend."

She placed her hands over his mouth while looking around. Luckily, he wasn't too loud and there wasn't much people in their office as it was more new. "That's supposed to be a secret."

And then she crossed her arms. "Besides, I like your cooking the best."

He scratched the back of his head, taken aback by her statement. "Really?"

"Of course," Yoona said. Then she let out a sigh. "If only you were my personal chef…"

The slight redness in his ears disappeared, replaced with an annoyed expression. "f.u.c.king b.i.t.c.h."

She widened her mouth. "Hey! Profanity!"

Yoona looked around, trying to find a way to get revenge. Luckily for her, his phone was right in front of her on the table. With a mischievous smile on her face she grabbed the device and hid it behind her back.

She stuck out her tongue. "You won't get your phone back until you apologize."

He put out his hand. "Give it."

She placed both hands on the phone and held it close to her chest. "Nope."

"You're so infuriating. Give it to me." He leaned over to try to s.n.a.t.c.h it from her hands however, Yoona backed away quickly.

Eunha was at the desk working on the design prints for the restaurant. She looked over at the two and when she saw them fooling around, she shook her head.

Lucas, although he acted all tough, was going to be a mess. How will he get over Yoona at this rate?

A light whistle escaped her lips as she clicked on the software she was on. She was busy working on her own things. That was, until she felt a dangerous aura behind of her. At first, she ignored it, believing it to be her own imagination. However, when she turned around, she was surprised to see Minhyun there.

He was walking down the halls, looking at how everyone was working. It wasn't a common scene to see the CEO, but it wasn't out of the ordinary for him to be around.

Of course, Eunha knew the real reason that he was here…

Talk about bad timing.

She turned to see Yoona and Lucas, continuing to fool around. This was not going to end well.

However, due to his professional nature. Minhyun didn't say anything. In fact, since the people around him were quite dense and would not be even able to imagine their boss's girlfriend to be in that office, they just thought he was in a bad mood.

"Would you like some water sir?" One of the men said.

"I have some tea in my office if you'd like."

Minhyun ignored them. He turned around instead, walking back to the elevators.

Secretary Kim, who was walking behind the group made eye-contact with Eunah. He quickly signalled for her to stop whatever the two friends were doing. She nodded and quickly made her way to Lucas and Yoona.

She leaned over to whisper in Yoona's ear. "Hey… Does your boyfriend get jealous easily?"

Yoona turned her head around, confused by the sudden question. "Yes… Why?"

"He was here. Five seconds ago. Looked like he was going to murder someone."

She c.o.c.ked her head, trying to think back at her actions. "Was there anything wrong with how I acted?"

Once Eunha pointed to Lucas, who was leaning his hand against his cheek lazily, everything made sense. Did he possibly get jealous of her playing and getting close to Lucas?

Yoona laughed while shaking her head. "I got it. Don't worry, I know how to handle this situation."

She quickly typed on her phone and sent Minhyun a text.

"Finished."

Eunha furrowed her eyebrows. "Finished? Are you sure you handled it correctly? That was too quick."

She patted both her friend's backs and let out a smile. "Don't worry, I have this all under control."
