Shaking her head at bit and using her hands to removed water close to her eyes, Sofie opened the small closed area for the shower and exited it.

"Hii!"

Feeling the cold wind, Sofie let out a small sound as she quickly grabbed a towel laying close to her clothes and started drying herself.

Feeling completely clean and dry, Sofie looked herself in the mirror and was greeted with her usual self.

"Hah…"

Heaving a relieved sigh, Sofie opened the door to the bathroom and looked from side to side. Making sure n.o.body was present in the corridor outside.

Seeing no one there, Sofie quickly sprinted all the way back to her room and closed the door the moment she entered.

With everything going well, Sofie found her clothes and started getting dressed.

Making her way out of her room, Sofie was now completely dressed and clean. The last few minutes was spent giving her plus.h.i.+es some attention, before she finally manged to convince herself to go outside and train.

So, with that in mind, Sofie made her way out to the small training ground located in the backyard.

Walking through the quiet house, Sofie finally felt that she had some time to relax, though that was most likely because Yue Wan hadn't made it back yet.

If Yue Wan really was back, she most likely wouldn't get even a second of peace… Just thinking about how 'caring and friendly' Yue Wan was to her, Sofie felt herself s.h.i.+ver a little.

"Ah, Sofie? Are you here to train as well?"

A voice interrupted Sofie's train of thought, as she quickly looked up and was met with the sweating Xiao Yao with a spwar held tightly in her left hand.

Lost in thought, Sofie had already arrived at the small training ground in the backyard of the house.

"Y-yes, I thought I might be able to cast the qi spell by now!"

Answering the question, Sofie got a little excited when she thought about how she would finally be able to use the [Conjure Fire Rabbit] Qi spell.

"I see, then good luck!"

Saying so, Xiao Yao turned around and started swinging her spear around in different ways. Most likely spear technique of some sort.

Finding a corner of the small training ground, Sofie sat down and started to meditate according to the [Fire Lord Qi] cultivation manual. Before she started trying to cast a qi spell, it would be best to examine her dantian and find out what happened to it after the trail at the moonlight mountain.

With closed eyes, Sofie started to sense all the different specks of light surrounding her. The specks of light were mostly made out of fire qi, while there were a few other kinds of qi present in the air as well.

Ignoring the colourful surroundings, Sofie quickly turned her attention towards her dantian and was shocked to discover that the small flame that would become her qi vessel had almost completely formed and condensed enough for her to be considered to have entered the qi condensation realm!

This made her both excited and scared at the same time. Excited about progressing so far, even being close to reaching the qi condensation realm. Scared because she had advanced so far without even knowing about it and from what she could see, her permanent qi vessel had been condensed according to the [Fire Lord Qi] cultivation manual!

The only reason Sofie could find for this, was that she had unconsciously cultivated according to the [Fire Lord Qi] when she was undergoing the trail at the moonlight mountain.

Satisfied with the somewhat dubious explanation, Sofie started to send out her fire qi and started to construct the different symbols needed for casting the [Conjure Fire Rabbit] qi spell.

Having a more stable permanent qi vessel proved to be useful, as Sofie felt it was easier to manipulate the fire qi that excited her body and even the former exhaustion she would start to feel after constructing too many symbols hadn't appeared even when she had constructed all the needed symbols for the [Conjure Fire Rabbit] qi spell.

Opening her eyes, Sofie looked at the thousands of different symbols floating around her.

She had succeeded in forming all the symbols needed for the qi spell in under 5 minutes! Even though this would still be useless in a fight, as an opponent would never wait for so long to attack, Sofie was not discouraged as she started gathering the surrounding symbols together to form the pattern that created the fire rabbit.

The arrangement of the different symbols was easier than the construction and only took Sofie another 2 minutes to complete.

BOOM!!!

Just as Sofie inserted the last symbol into the array of symbols, a small explosion erupted as the symbols merged together and exploded all at once.

The small explosion was not big, nor did it manage to hurt Sofie, but it still signified that she had failed in casting the [Conjure Fire Rabbit] qi spell.

"Ah!? W-what happened?"

Looking panicked at the small crater her failed attempt had created, Sofie had a shocked look on her face. Not really understanding where she went wrong in arranging the symbols together.

"Sofie!? What happened? Are you injured anywhere?"

Xiao Yao hurried over the moment she heard the small explosion and worriedly looked at the small confused face of Sofie.

"N-no, I'm okay… I just failed in casting the qi spell earlier."

Feeling a little guilty when she saw the worried look on Xiao Yao's face, Sofie blamed herself for not being careful enough. One of the functions of the qi spell, was after all to make the conjured fire rabbit explode…

Suddenly stopping her train of thought, Sofie seemed to have realized something as she closed her eyes and soon small symbols started to appear around her once again.

Xiao Yao on the other hand relaxed, when she heard Sofie was okay. But to make sure everything was okay, she stayed and waited for Sofie's second attempt in casting the qi spell. This way, she would be able help out if anything went wrong.

Time pa.s.sed and Sofie soon opened her eyes and looked at the thousands of symbols floating around her.

Concentrating with all she could, Sofie slowly manipulated the surrounding symbols into the patterns they need to, to conjure the fire rabbit.

This process was way slower than the first attempt and took over 15 minutes to complete, but this time the symbols didn't explode at the end. Instead they when they gathered together, they formed a small rabbit.

Looking at the small red rabbit made out of fire qi, Sofie could not help but smile as she felt a link form inside her mind.

Using the link, Sofie made the small red jump around the small training ground for a while before making it explode.

This time, the explosion was stronger. Luckily, Sofie had decided to make the fire rabbit explode far away from her and was not injured in the slightest bit by it.

"Congratulations on casting your first qi spell Sofie!"

Having successfully cast the [Conjure Fire Rabbit] qi spell, Xiao Yao, who had been standing beside her all this time, eagerly congratulated her.

"Thank you!"

Excited about her success, Sofie turned around and hugged Xiao Yao as she thanked her.
