Chapter 37: Has Anyone Seen Director Ni's Bag?!

It took her close to 5 minutes to make her way to the marketing department, by then the gossip about her had quieten down.

"Good afternoon....I'm sorry for barging in, but I forgot to take my handbag..."

"Director Ni! Good afternoon and welcome to the marketing department!"

Ni Yuexi allowed her voice to trail as several pairs of eyes watched the new executive of Ziaomi who came into their department. They shot up from their seat as though a needle had stabbed their naked behind. All of them chorused the practiced greeting they gave each time they saw any of the higher ups in their department.

"Director Ni! Good afternoon. It's a pleasure to have you at the marketing department. Please there is no need to stand on ceremony."

The reptilian eyed manager of the marketing department gave his subordinates a dirty to after finis.h.i.+ng his fake welcome speech.

"Has anyone seen Director Ni's bag?!"

"Manager Gong, I'm sorry for any inconvenience....I won't take up much of your time."

Ni Yuexi nervously looked at her former boss, Gong Jiu. A man known in the department for his nasty tendencies.

"No, No, No! It is us that are unconvincing you. Director Ni, please don't pay us any attention. Please take all the time you need."

Suddenly, the table had turned and the man who was her superior at work was now acting too nice for his own good.
