The other pharmacists all nodded in agreement. They had also studied the Blood of Red Monkeys, but unlike Steve, they had been unable to make much progress. Even though Steve's bold guess was only for a small experiment, it would still have a huge impact in the future and had already inspired many people.

President Sidney's and the others' gazes as they looked towards Steve instantly became friendly. Upon seeing this reaction, many of the other compet.i.tors' hearts sank.

Since the master pharmacists were clearly so impressed with Steve, it would bring him some advantages regarding the scoring. After all, the scores depended purely on the whims of the masters themselves.

"So what if he found a problem? Don't forget... He just gave up on the compet.i.tion, so he doesn't even have anything to show us! Even if I only have five points, it's much better than Steve's zero points!" Oscar murmured coldly.

It was only then that the people present remembered that Steve had nothing to show in this compet.i.tion. This could only mean that Steve was destined to be the one with the lowest score among all of the compet.i.tors left, as he'd only be able to score zero points! This thought relieved many of the remaining compet.i.tors' minds.

After that brief episode, the compet.i.tion continued and the pharmacists began to rate the other compet.i.tors...

"No. 53, Norman Jody... Final score... 4.2 points."

Upon hearing his score, Norman, who had been full of confidence, was. .h.i.t hard with surprise and shock. He couldn't believe that he had scored fewer points than Oscar!

"No. 54, Jerome O'Neill... Final score... 4.8 points."

As the only four compet.i.tors in Stanlos Base Camp, Oscar's and the others' results were quite mediocre. These kinds of score naturally sparked ridicule from the others. In particular, the young geniuses of the Wander City State and Doyle despised them even more, while their commentary only further revealed this very fact...

"Sure enough, the country's just the country, as there are few geniuses who can do it among you b.u.mpkins!"

"Geniuses? Do they even deserve the t.i.tle?"

"It's a great blessing that the clown pharmacist was from such a small place. How could there possibly be another genius besides him from such a silly little spot?"

When faced with the other people's ridicule, Oscar and the others blushed and felt embarra.s.sed. But, they were clearly helpless to do anything about it.

As such, the compet.i.tion continued. Soon, the masters arrived in front of Douglas and Philip.

As they were the only two D-grade pharmacists present, they naturally became the focus of attention. Everyone was wondering how many points they would get.

"No. 72, Douglas Clark..." Christina introduced.

Douglas smiled kindly, then said, "h.e.l.lo, Masters, this is my serum, which I call the 'Thousand Crane Serum.' It can instantly restore 20% of one's force, and within one minute, it can restore 50%. As such, a total of 70% of the force can be restored without any side effects."

The expressions of the pharmacists changed upon hearing this new bit of information. In fact, the expressions of all of the people present changed as well! This was indeed impressive!

"Wow! You mean to say that other effects have been added to this Recovery Serum?" President Sidney asked, clearly surprised. "This is no easy feat!"

After President Sidney voiced his surprise and awe, many others also added their own complimentary commentary...
