It had to be said that Zelda was shocked to learn that Steve had beaten Alex. After all, Steve was just a recruit who had only been in the military base for a month, yet he was able to defeat a veteran with a basic cell value of over 400 points! One could only imagine what heights Steve could reach if he was given the chance to grow and improve for a few more months, much less years!

"Audrey's taste are indeed unique. She has always seen the potential in Steve. But, she's not here now. Where on earth has she gone to?" Zelda wondered aloud.

Nathaniel's eyes were also on the other teams present. Steve did have great potential. Nathaniel thought that, if he could get Steve to join the team, it would mean having another powerful force on the team.

But, as it was not easy to compete for Steve among so many other teams, Nathaniel's expression was a little grim. He still couldn't believe that the mediocre character that he'd once despised had grown up and improved so fast that he now had to look up to him. This made him feel uncomfortable.

"Where did Jenna go?" As she spoke, Linda exuded a strong womanly aura, causing the members around her to be afraid to even look at her.

"Captain, we can't reach her..." Warner responded.

"That's unfortunate. If Jenna was here, Steve might be tempted to join us, as she could seduce him with her s.e.xy beauty," Linda said regretfully.

Warner's eyes sparkled with jealousy after hearing that. A great many of the people here had come because they wanted to see how much Hayden had grown, as well as to measure whether or not he posed a threat to them.

On the other hand, many other people had been attracted to this place because of Steve. After all, Steve's growth rate was so amazing that everyone wanted to see how powerful this legendary recruit really was.

Right at that moment, cries of alarm sounded, and all of the people looked towards one direction, including the impressive characters. A n.o.bleman in a white suit had just walked in!

His beautiful face was like a sculpture. He looked physically perfect, like Prince Charming, and many women were instantly fascinated by him. Everyone unconsciously parted to make way for him.

"That's Edward Milton! He is third in the personal strength ranking chart! Why did he come?"

"Wow! It's Prince Edward! I'm a big fan!"

"He's too perfect! How could there be such a handsome man in this world?"

"He has always been alone, never joining any battle teams or forming a battle team. So, why is he even paying any attention to this battle?" Eliot wondered aloud.

Most of the women present all had sappy expressions on their faces, as they were attracted by Edward's handsome looks. In contrast, Eliot, Linda, Zelda and the others had doubtful expressions on their faces.

As he was a lone ranger, this battle should have nothing to do with Edward. So, they had to wonder…

Why did he show up?

Originally, Eliot, who was ranked ninth, was the most important person on the scene, but once Edward arrived, everyone couldn't help but notice him. His every move had a special male charm and elegance. He was n.o.ble, powerful, and handsome, and even all of the men had to admit that this was so.

Edward went straight up to Eliot, then sat down beside him.

"Edward, why are you here?" Eliot looked at Edward and asked. "Hayden's strength is good, but it's not worth your attention. Steve also has great potential, but he hasn't grown to the point where he could be a threat to you."

Each of the top three geniuses in the personal ranking chart was a tough character. These three were also the most talented geniuses among all of the original-level soldiers.

Moreover, their rankings hadn't changed for a long time. They were like three strong and towering mountains that couldn't be climbed past!

For example, half a year ago, Edward's basic cell value had reached 470 points, and now, n.o.body even knew to what extent it had grown to be. As the basic cell value of the fourth place was only a little more than 450, there was a huge strength gap between the two of them.

"I heard that there is an interesting fellow among the recruits, so I came here to have a look." Edward smiled.

Eliot's mouth twitched, as he didn't believe Edward's explanation. After all, the top three geniuses seldom appeared in front of people, so this made Edward's appearance a but suspicious.

But Edward was reluctant to point this out, so he just stopped asking his questions. Just then, the hour's rest time was over.

"The compet.i.tion is about to begin. Will the two challengers please come into the ring?" The electronic voice of the Original Gravity Tower rang out.
