272 Getting Ready

In the human world of the Blue Star Continent, talented men had many women, and talented women had many boy-toys too. This had nothing to do with ethics, but had more to do with genetic inheritance. The descendants who inherited strong genes had higher probabilities of becoming strong and powerful.

Only by constantly giving birth to the strong could they protect their fellow human beings. Then, when the world comes to an end, no one would care about ethics, as whoever has the most strength and power would be the king, and if a woman happens to be the strongest, she could become a queen! After all, to survive, one must go to the extreme.

In the absence of adequate food and even the basics in life, human nature, morality, ethics, feelings and so on were all treated as jokes. Survival was the most important thing!

The Blue Star Continent had experienced such a dark period before. Although order had been re-established, the principle of respecting strength above all had never changed. With great strength, one could set the rules and others would follow.

Similarly, it was also through such a dark period of disorder that the human thoughts began to really differ from the Blue Star Continent and Earth. For instance, African tribes practiced polygamy. In fact, if you were to speak to them about monogamy, they would take you for a fool!

Therefore, under the influence of the system and social environment, human thoughts became different. The Blue Star Continent had long formed an idea of survival by relying on the strong, as this meant that they would be adequately protected. So, it was normal for a strong man to have more than one woman and a strong woman to have more than one man.

At the same time, if you wanted to depend on the strong, you must be loyal. This loyalty was particularly important because the strong would always be taken into consideration when considering gains and losses, as they had the final say.

For example, Lucy would try to be nice to Steve and even look for beautiful, high-quality women for him. In the mind of a human being on the Blue Star Continent, this was normal. However, a human being on Earth would have thought that this idea was abnormal, as they tend to veer toward monogamy.

Similarly, a human being on the Blue Star Continent would think that the thoughts of a human being on Earth were abnormal too. On this continent, as Steve had shown great strength and unparalleled potential, he was ent.i.tled to more spouses.

Audrey and Jenna were still struggling to be Steve's women, but Steve had no idea of their thoughts. After all, Steve's thinking was simple.

In his mind, they were free to choose whether to stay or leave, and he would respect whatever Audrey and Jenna decided. At least Steve gave them the freedom of choice, unlike other human beings on the Blue Star Continent.

But, currently, Steve had to focus on resting, as within an hour, he had to have restored his condition to its peak. This was because he would face Hayden in the next battle.

As compared to the previous opponents, Hayden was stronger and more difficult to deal with. According to the known information, Hayden had a basic cell value of more than 450 points.

But, it was still unknown how much power Hayden had. Steve may even be defeated if he took Hayden too lightly. So, Steve intended to go all out!
