"!" The black robed man narrowed his eyes even more when he saw Xuan Hao draw his sword, as he got prepared to fight.

"I'm an elder from the Black Rose Sect! Are you sure that you want to fight me!?" Seeing that Xuan Hao clearly did not care about him, the black robed man tried to use his background to intimidate him.

The Black Rose Sect could easily be considered the fifth strongest sect in the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, not just anyone would want to offend it for no reason.

Just earlier when Qing Yi had injured Bai Fei, he had already tried to just kill her off and use it as and excuse to help his disciple's family take control of the Bright Sun City

"I see Guess I have no choice then!" Saying so, the black robed man's eyes shone in a vicious light as bloody tendrils suddenly drilled up from the ground and pierced the remaining Bai family members, Bai Fei included.

"!" Xuan Hao opened his mouth in surprise as he watched the black robed man proceed to kill off his own teammates.

The Qing family members and surrounding crowd were no different as all of them stared at the black robed man in horror.

The bodies of the Bai family slowly dried up as the bloody tendrils quickly absorbed all of the blood and qi inside of their bodies.

"Hah! This feels great!" A tendril connected back to the black robed man as the blood and qi they had absorbed was transferred back into his body, causing a low moan to escape to black robed man's mouth.

Xuan Hao decided that watching as the black robed man's aura slowly grew stronger as he absorbed the blood and qi of the Bai family members was most likely a bad idea, as he quickly slashed down with his sword towards the black robed man.

"Haha! You think this silly little sword can do anything to me?" Smiling in contempt, the black robed man waved his hand and dozens of tendrils shot up from the ground and formed a barrier between him and the sword attack launched by Xuan Hao.

The sword slash landed on the tendrils and instantly slashed through them, like a hot knife through butter.

The black robed man realized that Xuan Hao was stronger than he had expected, and a few thicker tendrils erupted from the ground as black roses bloomed on top of them.

The sword slash soon met the black roses, and a small explosion came as the sword crashed directly into the defences of the black robed elder.

Seeing the tendrils with black roses slowly getting cut through by the sword slash, the black robed man immediately knew that he was not a match for Xuan Hao and quickly employed his own movement techniques as he tried to retreat.

After all, why stay and fight a losing battle?

With this in mind, the black robed man used his strength as he quickly grabbed a few hundred people from the crowd and instantly drained their qi and blood to help himself recover the little qi he lost in the earlier clash with Xuan Hao.

"Hmph, I will make sure that my Black Rose Sect repays you for the humiliation I faced today!" Saying that, the black robed man slowly started disappearing as he mustered all of his strength to escape.

"Think I will let you escape?" Xuan Hao did not dare to wait as he quickly used his own movement technique to chase after the black robed man.

Even if he could fly on his sword, it would still be quicker to use a movement technique for a short burst in speed and try to quickly catch up to the black robed man.

"" Qing Yi and the rest of the Qing family did not even have time to comprehend what had just happened as they observed the outcome of the earlier clash between Xuan Hao and the black robed man from the Black Rose Sect.

Just a few seconds had passed, but most of the Bai family had been wiped out, even Bai Fei, the black robed man's disciple, was killed by his own master.

Qing Yi honestly had no clue what had even happened, she had heard from her master in the past that the Black Rose Sect practiced some borderline demonic techniques and now she had seen it first-hand.

Thinking about this, Qing Yi felt a little nervous as she looked in the direction that her master and the black robed man had disappeared in. Hopefully, nothing would happen.

"How come you a running away from people the moment I find you? Did you manage to secure the Bright Sun City?" The new arrival appeared besides the black robed man running away from Xuan Hao as he asked.

"No This guy suddenly appeared and apparently has a disciple in the city" The black robed man who ran away from Xuan Hao earlier stopped as he complained and pointed at Xuan Hao.

"I see, let's retreat for now. Not having the Bright Sun City will not affect the grand plan!"

"Fine, but we have to teach this guy a lesson in the future! Nobody offends the Black Rose Sect and gets away with it!"

With that, Xuan Hao watched both of the black robed men quickly disappear without doing anything. The new arrival clearly gave off a dangerous aura and Xuan Hao had no plan to recklessly attack someone who was most likely stronger than him.
