As the car drove by the rapid falling night, the city lights ebbed to a mere inkling as it continue to drove pa.s.s it . The bright full moon has overed shadow the city lights as the stars s.h.i.+nes so brighty . The empty road was a dessert during the night . As people drifted off into there beds while others live the night .

Scott stop the car for a moment in the middle of the highway, he took a deep sigh as he looked at the girl peacefully sleeping in his car . He lend back and took a moment to himself . He then brushed his hair and started murmuring, "Do you know how hard I am trying to control myself now, you made me almost kill a man for no reason and now you've set the fire in me . Yet all you see is a demon and nothing else . "

After a few minutes later a soon as Scott calmed down, he continued to drove the empty road of the night .

In a private estate surrounded by trees and the sound of the night creatures . Scott drove along the driveway heading to a old chateau, A old man came out of the front door and walked towards the car .

Scott got out of the car and the man old man greeted him . "Master . . . " But before he could continue to greet him, he was dumbfound when he saw Scott went over the pa.s.senger seat and ignored him .

When he opened the door, inside was a girl peacefully sleeping . The old man was shock that his eye widen and his brow raised . He was at the same time confuse of what was happening, the fact his master have never every brought a girl home except once during high school .

"Master, what happened? Who is this young lady?" The old man asked out of curiousity .

As Scott gently lift Angelique out of the car, he gave the old man a look and softly said . "Be quite of else you'll wake her . "

The old man could not believe what his master said . Was the master suddenly concern about someone else . Who is this young lady and who is she to the master .

The old man quickly opened the door and help Scott in preparing his bed for Angelique to rest . Scott then order the old man to leave .

Downstairs the old man was contemplating on the situation, as he walked into the kitchen and some of the servants were staring at him .

"Old man who was that girl?"

"What happened, why was master carrying that girl?"

Everyone was curious of what they just witness however the old man could not answer them and did no want to ponder on it any more .

Back in the room, Scott has washed himself off and got rid the b.l.o.o.d.y scent . As he walked out of the shower covering himself with a towel as he continued to dry his hair with another one . He notice the girl fast asleep on his bed, looking so helpless and exposed .

Scott walked up to the bed and continued to gazed at Angelique, he sat on the edge of the bedside as he played around with her hair . He looked at her with a warm and tender feeling as if a spell was casted on him .

He bent over and kissed the girl on the forehead and said, "I may be the demon in your eye but this demon wont let anyone harm you ever again . You are my light in my dark world, my life and soul for you have took my breath away . "

Scott slept beside Angelique as he tucked her in his warm embrace, he watch the girl all through the night as he gently caress her hair .

As the rising of the bright sun and the moon vanished away, two people in deep slumber in each other embrace, keeping each other warm during the cold winter nights . Was.h.i.+ng all the pain of the world .
