As the car reached the main entrance of the mansion, the personnel on guard immediately held open the door for his superior who quickly asked him a question the moment the sole of her shoe touched the marble floor of the entrance.

"They are already asleep, aren't they?" w.a.n.g Reiji asked in a soft voice.

"Yes, CEO w.a.n.g. Master Yuvin and the little miss had already retired to their rooms." Ai and Bai who were standing behind the guard quickly replied.

w.a.n.g Reiji did not speak, she just slightly nodded her head in response to the twins' answer. She then turned her attention to Rentao who was about to take the car into the villa's parking s.p.a.ce.

"Rentao, it has been a long day and I know that you are tired as well. So, instead of driving back to your place, you can just sleep in the guest room tonight." w.a.n.g Reiji spoke to Rentao before s.h.i.+fting her gaze to the twins. "Please prepare the guest room for my a.s.sistant and escort him there once you two are done with the preparation."

"Thank you for your generosity, boss." Rentao quickly answered as he stepped outside the car and lowered his head down.

"I shall now take a rest. Please do not disturb me except for an emergency." w.a.n.g Reiji walked inside the lavish doors of the mansion and up the grand staircase.

As soon as the CEO disappeared from their sights, Rentao immediately went back inside the car to take it to the garage while the twins went straight the guest room located on the first floor of the mansion.

To get to the master's bedroom, w.a.n.g Reiji had to pa.s.s by w.a.n.g Yuvin's room first. As she walked along the corridor she noticed noises coming from the guy's room.

'Tap! Tap! Tap! Click! Click! Click!'

The noise of keyboard tapping and mouse clicking hinted w.a.n.g Reiji that her brother was still up. However, when she got nearer the door, the noise suddenly stopped. She was about to knock but the door suddenly swung open, startling her.

"Great heavens! You almost gave me a heart attack there." w.a.n.g Reiji complained as she lightly punched w.a.n.g Yuvin's arm.

"Shh! Your daughter is here and is already fast asleep. I saw you approaching my door so I decided to open it for you right away. Sorry if I startled you." w.a.n.g Yuvin replied in a voice loud enough for w.a.n.g Reiji to hear.

"I almost forgot, the CCTVs along the corridors are connected to your computer." w.a.n.g Reiji then walked past her brother and tiptoed her way straight to her sleeping daughter. She then quietly sat down on the bed to caress her daughter's cheeks.

"Did she look for me?" w.a.n.g Reiji asked as she gently stroked her daughter's head.

"Of course. She even wondered why you are not yet home and even asked why can't I be the boss sometimes." w.a.n.g Yuvin replied as he closed the door of his room before he quietly sat down opposite w.a.n.g Reiji.

"Europa is just like you, an intelligent being. It is just a matter of time before she starts asking

questions that might be difficult for us to answer." He added, his eyes now on the bandage around w.a.n.g Reiji's knuckle.

w.a.n.g Reiji continued to gently stroke her child's head as she silently pondered upon the events that evening, contemplating whether to share it to w.a.n.g Yuvin or carry the burden alone. Forgetting that she was flaunting the evidence, her injury caused by tonight's encounter with the prosecutor.

"Sis, is there something wrong?" w.a.n.g Yuvin's voice somehow pulled w.a.n.g Reiji's mind back to the current scenario.

"I-I think I am just tired. I had a very long day today. I just want to sleep and rest for tomorrow will be the start of the commercial shoot." w.a.n.g Reiji said as she stood up from the bed and was about to scoop Europa up, however, w.a.n.g Yuvin beat her to it.

"You just said it yourself, you are already tired and you seemed to have injured your knuckle as well." w.a.n.g Yuvin then scooped Europa up and was ready to transfer her to the master's bedroom.

"I-I", w.a.n.g Reiji stuttered as she tried to hide her bandaged knuckle away from w.a.n.g Yuvin's sight.

"Calm down. I am not in the rush to know the details. Take your time. Share it with me when you are ready. For now, take a rest. You need to be in your best condition tomorrow for the commercial, remember?" w.a.n.g Yuvin said as he gave his sister a smile before he carefully walked out of the room with Europa in his arms.

"Thank you, bro. Thank you." w.a.n.g Reiji mumbled as she quietly followed behind them.
