Jun and Yak.u.mo were checking Yugao's condition who had just fainted after failing to break through the Genjutsu. At that time Jun heard whoos.h.i.+ng sound behind him. He quickly turned while forming a chakra scalpel in his hand but saw it was Kakas.h.i.+.

"You are late Kakas.h.i.+ San." Jun said while dispersing the Chakra Scalpel. Kakas.h.i.+'s eyes flickered to his almost instant use and dispersal of Chakra Scalpel for a moment before turning to Yugao and scanning her with his Sharingan.

"She is fine, just exhausted due to mental energy deficiency after being in that Genjutsu." Turning towards Yak.u.mo he said with a slight fear in his voice "Very powerful Genjutsu."

Turning back to Jun he continued "It was a good idea to compare notes on your skills , but Genjutsu should have been done in my presence. Remember that Jun, since I am your team leader for the better or worse."

' And Whose fault is that I had to take charge huh ? you lazy , excuse filled ….' Jun cursed irritatedly in his mind when he felt a deep sense of dread in surroundings. He split himself to three using Shadow Clones and made clones hold Yak.u.mo and Kakas.h.i.+ while he flashed towards Yugao and picked her up in a princess carry . They all flashed away using Flying Thunder G.o.d, just in time for a maelstorm of black flames to appear around Itachi.

Flas.h.i.+ng away a few hundred meters, he placed Yugao on the ground and turned towards the other two, his clones already disappeared by now. He quickly formed a few seals before slamming his hands on the ground. A slight s.h.i.+mmer of haze surrounded Yak.u.mo and unconscious Yugao like a mirage.

"That is a s.p.a.ce Style Barrier which will protect them . You and I need to stop Itachi Kakas.h.i.+ San . Something is wrong with him and he is the one releasing those flames."

"I have never seen such flames. " Kakas.h.i.+ said "However if Itachi is really the one responsible for those flames I might have some idea about it… But I really hope I am wrong."

Jun grabbed Kakas.h.i.+ once more before using Flying Thunder G.o.d and teleporting them near Itachi. A swirling wall of Black Flames awaited them, completely isolating Itachi from them.

"How are we going to get past that?" Jun mused out loud.

"I have a way , but it might leave me too exhausted after a few times to even move. So I cant use it much , maybe twice at most." Kakas.h.i.+ replied.

"What does your method consist of?"

"Lets just say I can send the flames into a special kind of seal but only if they are concentrated in a place not spread out like right now."

"Hmm" Jun thought about about it then remembered something "I will get it focused for you in the sky . Get ready to seal it"

Kakas.h.i.+ looked at him for a moment before nodding. Pus.h.i.+ng his headband up, he revealed his Sharingan and released the entirety of his chakra in a overcharged state. Jun took out a special Kunai he had manufactured by himself in the week he spent in preparation. The hilt was wrapped in a special st.u.r.dy chakra paper and was filled with runes. He flickered and sped off in the direction of the Black Flames. As he drew near the Flames attacked him en-ma.s.se. Jun held the Kunai in front of him horizontally with both hands and supplied s.p.a.ce Style Chakra to it. A pattern of translucent runic rings emerged from it standing in the way of flames, completely ensnaring them even if they tried to escape.

"Flying Thunder G.o.d : Guiding Thunder - s.p.a.ce Style Variant" All the Black flames were sucked into a depression in s.p.a.ce in the middle of the runic ringed pattern in the air as if a giant was taking a deep breath. A hundred meters above Jun, a second runic pattern formed but it was in the form of a spherical cage. All the Black Flames that were disappearing from front of Jun appeared in the spherical runic cage. Once all the flames got into it Jun raised his palms in its direction and clenched his fist. The spherical runic cage responded and shrunk slowly, compressing the flames until it formed a volleyball sized ball of Black Flames.

"Do it now Kakas.h.i.+ San!" Jun called out , his voice strained by the concentration it took to keep the Black Flames under control.

"Haaahhhh…. Kamui!" Kakas.h.i.+ grunted as the Three Tomoe of his Sharingan spun and turned into an entirely different interconnected sickle like symbol. Suddenly the s.p.a.ce around the ball of flames twisted into a giant spiral like appearance and it was slowly sucked into it, vanis.h.i.+ng without a trace. Jun gasped as his connection to the spherical runic prison was broken along with it, falling to his knees for a moment. He panted as he looked at Itachi, who was lying in the middle of scorched ground completely unconscious with blood running down an eye but not a trace of burn on him. Jun and Kakas.h.i.+ staggered towards him after they had caught their breath , Jun reaching him first and sending Healing Chakra reinforced with nature energy to his eye . However at first inspection he couldn't find anything wrong other than few of the blood vessels ruptured and his eyes strained.

"Nature Style : Regenerative Body!" Jun used his self Developed regeneration spell he had used previously on Itachi. Once he felt his body was back to the state of 'as good as new' he sat back and relaxed waiting for him to recover.
