Eleanor was left on the magic chariot, but she was not panic stricken. She had seen various tricks pulled by the marquis, it was not as though she had never seen anything more magical than the Sword Aura Sealing spell. Years of painstaking work was ruined in a night and both her sons were killed in war, her running out from the tight encirclement was out of instinct. The moment she was caught by Jola, it was as though she let go of everything and was looking at her own body as a bystander.

The carriage door was opened and Eleanor lifted up her head subconsciously. She saw a male mage in the carriage and five other charming beautiful ladies. It tugged her heartstring when she saw the male mage was looking at her! If he was like the marquis, was she not…

“Master, she used transformation magic.” What Nailisi said shocked Eleanor. Her appearance was well hidden. When the marquis first saw her, he was immediately fascinated by her. How could she out of all his admirers become the official wife of the marquis otherwise?

After marrying the marquis, he taught her transformation magic. Besides when she was with the marquis, no one else knew her original appearance.

“I am a little curious.” Saleen smiled maliciously as he saw a hint of fear in the female mage’s eyes. Transformation magic was a very disturbing skill, but not true magic. Like Nailisi, she was born with it. There were some tribes that all were. This woman could master transformation skills so she could possibly be from one such tribe.

Eleanor gritted her teeth and said, “Don’t ever think of taking anything from me.” Then, she pursed her lips tightly. She looked like she would rather die than submit.

“Is it transformation magic?” Saleen smiled and said commandingly, “Nailisi.”

Nailisi stood up, walked to the side of the carriage, then bent down and waved her hands around. In a blink of an eye, the female mage’s equipment was wiped away.

“Master, her underwear is very weird. It is enchanted. Should I take it down?” Nailisi caressed the body of the female mage evilly. Her hands had long finger nails that were sparkling like jade. Not many people could ever tell anything from the her hands, they would only find them beautiful. Eleanor could feel the menacing nature of Nailisi’s hands though. The bracelet that the marquis gave her was almost one with her and it was impossible to remove it from her wrist, but the tall lady casually rolled it and the bracelet that had not been taken down for a dozen years was sudenly taken away.

Eleanor’s lips were quivering and she suddenly scolded Saleen cra.s.sly, “You shameless b.a.s.t.a.r.d, you call yourself a mage?”

Saleen looked at her coldly and said, “Because I am a mage, you can save the moral of the commoners for yourself. As you are also a mage, I will not waste time then. Let me ask you, what do you have to offer in exchange for your freedom? If there isn’t anything, I will treat you like a magic beast.”

“In exchange for freedom?” Eleanor was stunned. She never thought that what Saleen would ask for would be that. She thought Saleen would let her die more straightforwardly.

“I did not want to attack this temple, so you are considered lucky to have become my captive.” Saleen said calmly. He knew that as long as a human had hope, they would hardly be likely to give it up. He promised to give her freedom and the female mage definitely would not reject.

Eleanor was in a daze for a very short period. When she fled from the main hall, those who attacked her were soldiers from t.i.tan and the two garish carriages did not take any action. They did not partic.i.p.ate in the siege against the pink army, so she believed in what Saleen said.

“What to offer in exchange for my freedom? The things that the marquis left behind were not hidden so the other of women would be able to find them, Bifaso will definitely find them too. I brought the most important thing with me, but it was already taken away by the lady with green eyes.”

“I…”

“Here’s the contract.” Saleen threw out a scroll and it landed before Eleanor. Her mental power was sealed and she could not move her magic chords, but she could still move her limbs. She did not know when Saleen had gotten the contract ready. It was as though he knew all along that she would be captured and fall into his hands.

“If you give something that I am satisfied with, I will give you your freedom.” Saleen emphasised the word freedom again.

With the contract in hand, Eleanor knew that Saleen would not go back on his word.

“I…” Eleanor was still hesitating. She did not know what to say. Saleen smiled and told Nailisi, “Bring her in.”

Although Bafino was busy giving commands to the army, the appearance of the female mage and her being captured by Jola was under his watch too. Saleen brought the female mage into the magic chariot and Bafino felt angry. That woman was important and Saleen was obviously trying to take advantage. The woman almost escaped just then. If it was not for Jola, he might not have been able to even capture her.

Closing the door, Saleen said, “Now only the people in the carriage can hear you, you may speak.”

Eleanor did not hesitate anymore, the young mage might not be patient for long. She said, “I know holy prose and I can teach it to you.”

Saleen did not show it, but he was satisfied. In this world, there was almost no one who knew holy prose. Even the people in Holy See were learning it in fragmented pieces. It was said that only the pope could read holy prose and use divine language to cast a Divinity spell. The rest of the people, even the seven oracles, could only cast Divinity spells through prayers.

The female mage knew holy prose and her origins were definitely not simple. Why would she be willing to be the leader of the pink army? It was not anything that secured a bright future.

“Okay, you teach me holy prose. Until I learn it, I will keep you with me.” Saleen said carefully. He raised his hands in the air and retrieved the scroll. He made amendments and threw it back to Eleanor again.

Eleanor took the scroll, read the contract once and did not find any contract trap in it. She then bit her fingers with no hesitation and dripped her blood onto the contract while Saleen only left his spiritual imprint on it. The scroll was burnt into ash and it would be impossible for the both parties to go back on it.

“Let me introduce myself, I am Saleen Metatrin.”

“Eleanor.” The female mage did not say her surname and Saleen did not ask.

“How long will it take to teach me?” A scream outside the carriage was deafening and the blood smell was so strong that it made one dizzy suddenly. Saleen chatted casually with Eleanor and Lex did not seem to be taking any action. The situation was under control. With flame bees and the miniature trebuchet, the enemy had no power to counterattack anymore.

Eleanor was stern. She knew that the pink army had already collapsed, but the battle continued for so long because Bifano did not intend to hold anyone captive. In the very beginning one-thousand people who surrendered had been killed by Bifano’s underlinings. Who else would dare to surrender then? Giving up their weapons led to death, not giving them up led to death as well. When a human was facing death, they would either give up struggling or fight back all they could.

“Bifano was already so brutal, these were obviously people that Bifano invited and they were definitely not any weaker than Bifano.”

“Holy prose is very complicated. If you managed to pick it up quickly, it would require about two years time. If your ability to pick up language is normal, it might possibly go up to eight or ten years.” Eleanor did not hide the fact that she started learning holy prose when she was a child. She had not finish learning even before meeting the marquis. She knew that there was genius in the world that was extremely sensitive towards language. Even if it was from a civilization that was lost, as long as there was information in magic that was left behind, a human could research about the language.

“I am still young, I’m in no hurry.” Saleen smiled. It required such a long time to pick it up, so he had to protect Eleanor’s safety as of then. That was not any good news. Eleanor could make up her mind to teach her enemy holy prose, that might not be because of such considerations.

Even if he released Eleanor immediately, she had nowhere to go. t.i.tan was in a mess and she lost the army she had under her. Although she was a grand mage, with no money, she could only be a robber. If she were to fall into the hands of tribunal, it would be scarier than entering h.e.l.l with how beautiful she was.

Lex looked at Saleen and kept quiet. If the secret in the main temple were to be found out by Eleanor, she could only kill her. Saleen promised to give the woman freedom, but she did not promise her anything. “Saleen probably had that in mind. When did he suddenly grow up?”

The ma.s.sacre continued through the night. The s.p.a.ce within the temple was extremely huge. Besides the five-thousand strong fighting power, there were the people’s family members and slaves that they held captive. Bifano was ruthless and he killed every one of them. As for Eleanor, Saleen held her captive and Bifano pretended that he did not see.

Out of twenty-four halls, Saleen picked three. One of them was the core of the twenty-four halls. The measurement of the coordinates could be sent to the mages in Metatrin City for calculation after measuring.

Nailisi took one of the halls for herself and closed the gate tight. She prohibited anyone from entering.

There was no one in the temple. Nailisi sat right at the center of the hall and looked around. She thought it looked like the place that she was once held captive. Luckily, there was not any holy prose that sealed off dimensions and the summoning magic array could be easily built.

Nailisi took out a piece of dimension stone. There was sufficient material in the dimension stone. She took out a magic pen and absorbed all the magic liquid. She then started drawing a summoning magic array on the ground. The first time she summoned, she did not want too many demons as it would be a situation that was too hard to control.

Two loops of summoning arrays were drawn and in between the loops the demon language was written.

Nailisi took out ten dead bodies from her dimension stone. She collected them in secret. There were too many dead bodies, Bifano had not finished managing them and he could not keep track of them. Bifano had no need to calculate anyway as he only need to make sure that there was no living enemy in the temple.

After ten dead bodies were thrown into the summoning array, a small black dot floated into the air and swirled around quickly. More floated up and the small dots that were floating spun in all different direction. The dead bodies that were thrown inside were ground into meat hash and poured into the summoning magic array. The red flesh and blood turned the black demon writing to purple and they gave out fluorescent light.

Nailisi continued throwing dead bodies until about a hundred were thrown in, the summoning array was lit up entirely.

“It’s not that difficult.” Nailisi smiled to herself. As a demon, summoning a demon was very easy. The only troublesome part were the coordinates. As long as the bones did not fool her, she would be successful her first time.
