Alyssa felt a weird sensation running through her body. Her vision blurred and her breathing became labored. Suddenly she felt hot. Her forehead and her palms became sweaty and she felt a strange feeling in her lower stomach. She felt her body burning and all she could think was to press herself on a cool source. She felt like taking off her clothes to lower her body temperature. She soon realized what was happening to her. she was drugged. It was a kind of drug that sends a werewolf in heat. She bit her tongue hard to clear her vision and her mind. As the time went, she became more helpless. She didn't know what to do. Even the pains that she was subjugating on her body were not enough for her to dampen the effect of the drug. Her vision fell on her ring finger on her left hand where she used to wear her personalized taser. She twisted the orifice of the taser towards herself and after adjusting the voltage she gave herself a shock. She felt a burning sensation in her whole body but eventually, her vision cleared and she regained her consciousness.

"Alas mi vo puru jos be kiya hai avsa, jos nah bola fo nish chat samj vo manuro ta k.u.m jaisa ko ta Mahan, sab deba er sabud we Luna"

Reinhard was late. He was busy sorting problems related to his country. As soon as he entered the temple he was. .h.i.t by Alyssa's unique scent. He took a deep breath but soon realized that the scent was not as pure as it was. Something was mixed with it. just like when Alyssa was drinking alcohol the other day. He frowned his brows and entered further. He realized that all the men present were fidgeting. Their eyes had turned dark and their body was giving away pheromones. Reinhard's eyes turned darker and it seemed that something clicked his mind. he raised his eyes towards Alyssa's direction and saw her fidgeting. He zoomed his eyes on her body and could clearly see her clothes getting dampen due to sweating.

"Alas mi puru jos be padh ko wow chat no irsh, ko pick chat no haya ko cha chat no dar, jij ko chip no maya."

'Her scent is making them wild in l.u.s.t' he thought to himself. He knew he had to protect her from these men. It was only a matter of time before they lose their control over their mind and act on their primal instincts.

It was getting difficult for Reinhard too. He was an Alpha with awakened bloodline which means he can transform into his wolf form. His instinct was more primal than the men present around him.

'Calm your wolf down' Reinhard berated himself when he sensed his wolf howling at the back of his mind.

"Alas er ta nidi vo vib mur ayo all kabi ya tuta."

"Just a few minutes Allie. You can do it. Focus." Alyssa encouraged herself mentally.

The prayer was about to end and the last step was her to sign her name in the book.

"Ni me, ek fo aya khami niva proe ko ya maha bura, an noha ko cha, no saman who each deba lijo chal, joso alasya vo cham sahi nesam fo dega."

(In me, one of those flaws had proven to be a chronic restlessness; an inability to appreciate, no matter how well things were going, those blessings that were right there in front of me.)

The prayer ended and the High priest turned towards Alyssa and said, "Kneel before the G.o.ddess my child."

Alyssa did what he said.

"Bow before Her." Alyssa bowed before the G.o.ddess. The High priest came near her and drew a vertical line on her forehead with a white color powder. Then he opened the book present on the lectern and flipped the pages. He stopped at the last page where Alyssa's name was written in ink. Whoever had written her name must have good handwriting.

The High priest called Alyssa, "Step forward child and embrace the destiny that awaits you."

Alyssa stepped towards the lectern. Even though her mind was getting fuzzy and with her vision blurring, she could still see her name written on the book clearly. Fresh tears pooled in her eyes and at that moment all the pain that she was feeling went numb. Alyssa took a deep breath and took the quill present in the inkpot. Finally, she was going to be a member of her family. Now just after a few moments, she will have a real t.i.tle and no one will be able to look down upon her. She signed her name on the book with difficulty. She released her breath for G.o.d knows how long she was holding it. As soon as her task finished the area around her started blurring. Her scent became much more concentrated making the men around her salivate and growl in l.u.s.t. All the pain that was numbed earlier hit her with much force. She screamed and collapsed. She was waiting for the hard marble floor to hit her but was held by a strong muscular hand and a sweet caring voice traveled her ears "I will protect you. I promise." Alyssa tried to open her eyes to see her savior but fatigue took over her and she went into a deep slumber.

Reinhard held her in bridal style and exited from the temple, walking towards his car. He had to take Alyssa to a safer place away from these l.u.s.tful men. He quickened his steps.

Inside the temple, Violet and Salvia's face darkened. They were too close to destroy Alyssa for good. But once again she was saved by someone. Violet's heart burned with anger. She once again felt like Alyssa trying to s.n.a.t.c.h her belonging, her Reinhard away from her. it was not acceptable for her to see her position as a queen in jeopardy. She looked towards Elizabeth viciously who was present beside her. Elizabeth cowered under her eyes. 'If only I was able to drown her for good then none of this thing would have happened.' Elizabeth though in her heart.

It was Violet's plan all along to kill Alyssa one way or another. Part A of her plan was to make Alyssa drown in the lake but when it failed, she improvised her plan and mixed the drug with the holy water. The drug was mixed in much larger quant.i.ty that can be even considered as lethal. It was all thanks to Alyssa's power, her strong will, and years of little bit of poisoning and hards.h.i.+ps that made her body a bit resistant to the drug. If not, she would have died then and there.
