Chapter 1184 - Who Is the Vixen?

Chapter 1184: Who Is the Vixen?

Tang Mo’er and Jun Xiqing would receive an exclusive design one afternoon.

It was one of a kind.

Tang Mo’er stepped inside the dressing room to change out of the dress and it was taken in for alteration in accordance with Feng Lingxue’s design.

Feng Lingxue went to check on the alterations while Jun Xiqing was left behind. She suddenly heard a girly voice behind her, it sounded so familiar. “Sister Qingqing.”

Jun Xiqing turned around to look, it was Ah Xiao.

Ah Xiao was now the West Duke’s prospective consort. She was well-dressed and very pleased with herself.

A socialite followed beside her. Once this socialite learned that she was West Duke’s prospective consort, she started sucking up to her in all kinds of ways. It was nauseating to watch.

“Sister Qingqing, why are you here too? I’ve just tried on the gowns. I’ll be West Duke’s consort in two weeks’ time, you haven’t congratulated me yet.” Ah Xiao shoved the news in Jun Xiqing’s face.

All Jun Xiqing could do was sneer inside. Great, she didn’t need to spend any effort at all, Ah Xiao came to her first.

Someone had to pay the price of Ah Da’s death.

So Jun Xiqing lifted her head, looking behind Ah Xiao as she smiled, saying, “Ah Da, you’re back.”

Ah Da?

Ah Xiao’s face went completely pale in an instant, she was totally creeped out.

Someone suddenly patted her shoulder.

“Ah!”

Ah Xiao was frightened, she screamed loudly.

“Miss Ah Xiao, why did you scream? It’s me, I patted your shoulder,” the socialite said.

What?

Ah Xiao instantly realized she had been fooled and she glared at Jun Xiqing. Jun Xiqing had a spurious smile on her face as she looked at Ah Xiao, she was inexplicably sardonic.

Seeing her calmness, Ah Xiao almost vomited blood, she was so p.i.s.sed off since Jun Xiqing made her behave like a fool.

Jun Xiqing had a n.o.ble background. Her uncle was Country Z’s President and her father and brother held high positions in the military. She was sharp-witted since young and was a ravis.h.i.+ng beauty. Other women were simply incomparable to her.

Ah Xiao flew into a rage after being humiliated. She vent her frustrations on one of the salespersons. “This is Jadeite Hall, how did she even make her way in? How can such a lowly person be here, hurry up and chase her away!”

The salesperson was put in a spot. “This…”

The door to the dressing room opened and Tang Mo’er stepped out. She held Jun Xiqing’s hand, her l.u.s.trous eyes becoming steely as they fixed on Ah Xiao. “Who wants to chase Qingqing away?”

Ah Xiao hadn’t recognized Tang Mo’er, but the socialite’s expression changed once she saw Tang Mo’er step out. Everyone in Country A knew that West Duke had a biological elder sister whom he loved and respected dearly.

Even when he appeared at Silver Mask King’s parties, he hadn’t brought a female partner with him. His sister acted as his partner, accompanying him to the events.

The socialite wanted to remind Ah Xiao about it, but when Ah Xiao saw the elegant and beautiful Tang Mo’er who protected Jun Xiqing, she started las.h.i.+ng out, “Where did this vixen pop out from? How dare you be so disrespectful to me, I’m the West Duke’s consort!”

Jun Xiqing knitted her brows, wanting to pull Tang Mo’er behind her but she suddenly paused.

That was because she spotted a tall figure by the door. Jun Xiqing was sensible and so she took a step back and got herself out of the situation.

“Miss Tang, your gown has been altered.” Another salesperson walked over, handing an exquisite bag over to Tang Mo’er.

When Tang Mo’er reached over, she didn’t manage to take the bag from the salesperson. A figure ran over, pus.h.i.+ng her aside. “What’s this? I’ll buy this vixen’s clothes!”

Tang Mo’er was from the entertainment industry, she had met all sorts of women who resorted to different tricks but she had never met a woman as shrewish as Ah Xiao.

It was almost laughable.

As Tang Mo’er was wearing heels, when she was pushed by Ah Xiao, she staggered backwards. A muscular arm appeared, grasping her svelte waist and holding her.

She fell into a warm embrace.

Lifting her eyes to see, she instantly smiled with her eyes all crinkled. “Yeming, you’re here?”

Lu Yeming had arrived.

Today, Lu Yeming wore a black knit sweater with a white s.h.i.+rt underneath. His Adam’s apple was right above the b.u.t.toned collar and he exuded a dignified aura.

With one hand in his pocket, the other was around Tang Mo’er’s waist and just lifting her lightly, Tang Mo’er stood up straight and the ends of her maxi dress landed on his glistening leather shoe.

He hadn’t let go. Lowering his head, he looked at Tang Mo’er with concern before asking, “Are you alright?”

Tang Mo’er smiled. “I’m fine, don’t worry about me.”

When Ah Xiao saw Lu Yeming, her eyes lit up. Ye Ruge and her hadn’t seen him yet ever since they arrived at the Jadeite Hall.

Ah Xiao’s gaze was fixated on the man’s handsome face, she simply couldn’t tear her eyes off of him. He sported a casual look today with his hair combed up and he really was young and suave. His knit sweater appeared to be made of cashmere and it looked so luxurious under the sun.

His a.s.sistant, Fan Men as well as two men in black guarded beside the door. He was calm and collected. Once he appeared, he became the center of attention.

“Young Master, you’re here? You’re just in time. This vixen here dared to provoke me, hurry and help me teach her a lesson.” Ah Xiao pouted her lips as she complained, swaying her hips around.

Vixen? Lu Yeming lifted his eyes, giving her an impa.s.sive glance. Fan Men gave one man in black behind him a signal and he quickly went in front, slapping Ah Xiao’s face.

“Ah!”

Ah Xiao screamed, that one slap had resulted in a blood wound at the corner of her mouth.

“Young Master, why did he hit m–”

Pah! The man in black gave her another forceful slap.

Ah Xiao’s face swelled, looking even more pathetic. She looked at Lu Yeming, all frightened as she trembled. “Y-Young Master…”

Lu Yeming looked at her, moving his lips. “Who’s the vixen, hm?”

When he used the ‘hm’, he really was inexplicably s.e.xy.

Ah Xiao was stunned, but she finally realized where she had gone wrong. She had scolded this Tang Mo’er and called her a ‘vixen’.

But it was too late. The man in black gave her two slaps, from both sides.

Ah Xiao vomited a mouthful of blood, collapsing on the floor.

The socialite beside her was frightened to death. She sneakily lifted her eyes to peep. Lu Yeming was still holding onto Tang Mo’er’s waist as though he was protecting a woman he loved in his arms.

The socialite instantly lowered her head, she didn’t dare take a second look.

Ah Xiao had merely scolded his sister and pushed her a bit and he wanted her to lose her life.

Wasn’t Ah Xiao his prospective consort?

Ah Xiao knelt on the carpet, with two teeth fallen out and her face pale and devoid of any color as she cried out, “I’m the… vixen, the vixen… is me. Young Master, please spare my life…”
