"I mean...the condition that I was talking about is you" Mr.De said and smiled a little.

"Me!!!" Tara said in a restless tone.

"Yes you....only you can make the marriage of your brother and Polen possible" Mr.De said on a cold voice.

"Grandpa what do you mean by this..." Tara was loosing her temper.

"I mean in order to make your brother happy you have to listen to me without any negotiation" Mr.De said and smiled.

"Grandpa can you please tell me the conditions first..." Tara said in a straight voice.

"Of course...why not...I don't want anything very big from you just two things..." Mr.De said and indicate his secretary to move out of the room.

"Just two..." Tara said in a suspicious tone.

"Yeah...just two" Mr.De said and sipped his coffee.

"First is you have to leave Kian..."

Tara whole body tensed up she can't believe her ears, the last thing she wanted to do was to leave him but her grandfather was demanding it as if it was nothing. She looked at him in disbelief.

"I know Tara...he is your weak point and to grow up you can't have one...so you have to leave him... atleast for your brother's sake you can do this much I guess" Mr.De looked at her shocked face for a good amount of time before stating his second condition.

"And my second condition is that you have to leave the country for one whole year..."

Tara whole mind was blank... firstly leaving him and now the whole country was her grandfather trying to kill her.

She looked at him with blank eyes and a pale face.

"You seriously want me to do this..." Tara asked in a low voice.

"Yes Tara... listen my child I am doing all this for your own benefit only...Kian is not an ideal partner for you and moreover if you leave the country it will be easy for you to forget him..." Mr.De said and sat beside her.

Tara was sitting there like a stone no movement atall...her heart was torn apart in one side was her brother who sacrificed a lot to make them happy from the childhood only and on the other side was the person she wanted to spend her whole life with. Choosing any one of them will ultimately made her lose Everything.

"I need some time to think...one day will also do" Tara said in a robotic voice and stood up.

"Before deciding anything just remember that your brother's happiness is depending on you" Mr.De said in a loud voice.

Tara halted in her steps she turned back and nodded slightly and left the room.

"If I can't save my grandson... I will atleast have you with me to save my company...Tara I can't lose you at any cost..." Mr.De sighed loudly.

Tara was walking in the office corridor with a blank face, everyone were greeting her but she can't hear any of them. She just continued to walk and walk until she b.u.mped into someone, she slowly looked towards the person and to her relief he was Sarthaki.

Sarthaki got a call from Mr.De that Tara and Sourav were in their grandfather's office and Sourav have something urgent to solve so he had to leave so Mr.Ray requested him to go and pick her up.

"Mam...what happened to you why are you walking like this?" Sarthaki asked in a concerned voice.

" He is asking me to sacrifice... again" Tara said in a low voice.

"Sacrifice...who is telling you to sacrifice and what sacrifice Mam you were with your grandpa right!" Sarthaki said in a loud voice because she was very distracted at that moment.

"Sarthaki he is again playing his sacrifice game with me..." Tara said and looked towards him with sorrowful eyes.

Sarthaki knew this look very well five years ago she looked at him like this only, that time he was powerless but this time he won't let her break down.

"Mam let sit somewhere and talk...let's go" Sarthaki then made her sit on the bench near a park outside the office.

"Now tell me mam what exactly happened?" Sarthaki said in a gentle tone.

"I will...but promise me you won't say this to anyone... please Sarthaki... I can only trust you" Tara said in a pleading voice.

"Mam... please don't do this again...five years ago also you stopped me..." Sarthaki said in an irritated tone.

"Please.... Sarthaki" Tara said and held his hands tightly.

"Okay...but tell me everything" Sarthaki said in a gentle voice.

Tara explained him everything in accurate details.

"Mam...this is not atall acceptable....how can you even consider this!" Sarthaki said in loud voice. He can't believe that Mr.De was again playing the same trick he played five years ago to make her join the company.

"I have to consider it...or he won't allow bro to get married to Polen..." Tara said in a trembling voice.

"Mam...you can't do this to Kian Sir...he sincerely loves you..." Sarthaki said and squeezed her hands softly.

"I know...but do I have another way?" Tara said and a single tear drop escaped her eyes.

"If you don't have another way just try to find out one for G.o.d's sake" Sarthaki said and looked towards her.

"Sarthaki...he trapped me again...but this time he wants my whole life...I don't want to live anymore" Tara said and tears started flowing uncontrollably.

"Mam... please don't break down...we still have time let's try to figure out something" Sarthaki said and gave her a tissue to wipe off the tears away.

"We don't have time Sarthaki...I have to answer him tomorrow only..." Tara said and stood up from her seat.

"What happened Mam..." Sarthaki panicked he was sure that she will again sacrifice for her brother's sake like she did five years ago.

"I have decided....I will leave Kian" Tara stormed towards the car.

Sarthaki was standing there rooted in the spot, he just can't see her sufferings anymore but he was helpless before her grandfather Mr.De. Sarthaki was present there when she decided to sacrifice her dreams to join the company to save her brother and now also she was ready to sacrifice her love for her brother....was she really human.
