As for Genesis, he didn't know where her whereabouts is but he didn't bother. Somehow Lee Jun Ting had a hunch that she wouldn't cause anymore trouble relating to him or Zhou Qin Yang.

His eyelids started to feel heavy as Lee Jun Ting was about to drift of to a light sleep, a knock on the door jolt him up. He open his eyes in an instant, a woman's head poke out from the door " May I come in? "

Lee Jun Ting's shoulder relaxes and he nods, giving her permission to enter. Zhang Li Li smiles and walks in with a stack of paper in her arms towards the sofa provided on the other end of the room. Since the room is VVIP, it is such a large s.p.a.ce that naturally a few more could fit in. Normally the VVIP room is for high government officers and military rankings could request to stay but naturally Lee Jun Ting's position is a special case.

" What are you doing here? " Zhang Li Li drags the table at the side and place it in front of her, she plops down on the sofa and crosses her legs naturally. Lee Jun Ting raise his eyebrow " Isn't that suppose to be my question? I am taking care of her "

"Ah... I am working overtime so I thought of working here. " Zhang Li Li looks at Zhou Qin Yang with a soft smile. Then an awkward silence, both of them look at each other. It's been a long time since Zhang Li Li last saw Lee Jun Ting, her feeling of envy towards him starting to revive.

It has always been like that when she had first known him in high school, how can someone be so d.a.m.n perfect at everything including looks. Back in high school, there were times where Zhou Qin Yang spend more time with him than her own best friend made Zhang Li Li felt a little resentment towards him.

On the other hand, Lee Jun Ting never have thoughts like that. He just regards Zhang Li Li as an important friend to Zhou Qin Yang and a normal friend towards him. Zhang Li Li knew Lee Jun Ting harbour feelings for Zhou Qin Yang since way back because it was d.a.m.n obvious when straightforwardly asks about Zhou Qin Yang likes and dislikes from her.

Zhang Li Li was the first one to look away, she pick up the file on top of the stack and started working " So how did you find her? You never told me that you found her."

" I didn't. She came to me first." it was technically true, Zhou Qin Yang came for the job interview in his company and he saw her. He wondered if Zhou Qin Yang knew he was going to be there, will she still attend the interview?

Lee Jun Ting looks at Zhou Qin Yang and remembered how she looked on that day, even though she was nervous but she confidently answered all of the questions asked " I was busy and forgot to tell you about it. Even so I thought you knew. "

The engagement party spread like wildfire the next day, all the newspapers and tabloids had covered the whole story so he thought Zhang Li Li knew. Zhang Li Li tilts her head, trying to figure out what Lee Jun Ting meant " Why would I know? The only recent news I heard from others mouth was you got engaged- oh? You and Zhou Qin Yang got engaged? Sorry I don't read a lot of news."

Lee Jun Ting didn't reply her and Zhang Li Li took it as a yes. She then sucks in her breath " Wait. How long have you guys met since the interview? "

" Two months. "

" Two months ?! You are one crazy guy you know?! " Zhang Li Li gasps.

" I mean it's been 7 years since you last saw her. You didn't even get into a proper relations.h.i.+p and then you drop the bomb ?! "

Lee Jun Ting ma.s.sages in between his eyebrows " She said yes already. Also, being engage is a proper relations.h.i.+p. "

Zhang Li Li face palms and sighs, she can't believe she is hearing this from a man with high IQ. She decides not to interfere with there relations.h.i.+p. Of course her best friend is happy that she got engaged but was it truly what Zhou Qin Yang wants. Two months is a short time plus marriage isn't something to joke about. She wonders if her best friend had thought about this.

The room became silent again, Zhang Li Li wanted to say something but she decides to keep her mouth shut when she saw Lee Jun Ting with his eyes close. 'He must be really tired. I shouldn't bother him' she shakes her head.

What the both adults in the room didn't know was, Zhou Qin Yang heard the whole conversation. She has been awake since Zhang Li Li step in the room but she didn't know why she decided to keep still leading her to eavesdropping the whole conversation . After hearing that the both did not exchange anymore words, she thought it was best she sleep longer and wake up in the morning instead.
