Chapter 12

Editor: Seafall

Ever since he started living with the big monster, Mo GunGun was no longer afraid of him.

Like a shadow, he followed Lu Xiao Qi from behind. From time to time, he sneaked some attacks such as lying across his shoes or holding on to his ankle so he was practically dragged across the ground. Each time it happened, the admiral remained very calm. However, when he went near the mecha, Lu Xiao Qi made sure to put his little tail on the small mountain of food before walking closer.

Whenever that happened, the panda would automatically enter 'face stuffing' mode. He would sit on the golden nest and snack until his heart was content.

In his spare time, Lu Xiao Qi would sit by the fire with him.

Mo GunGun became so fond of the big monster that he not only gave him plenty of delicious bamboo, but he also shared his treasures with him.

What he did not expect was that in return, in a short span of one day, he would also receive a pile of red apples and an odd yet interesting mirror.

This was the first time that he had a clear idea of what he looked like. What was reflected back to him was a fluffy round shape the size of a pocket handkerchief.

While the panda was occupied with looking at himself in the mirror, Lu Xiao Qi had reduced the skull into powder and was also a.s.sembling other pieces.

Though Mo GunGun didn't understand what the big monster was doing, it did not prevent him from feeling awe. In the heart of the little panda, the big monster was now the most powerful and the kindest existence in the world.

Mo GunGun went back to curiously observing his new mirror.

It could be said that the one being reflected back to him was extremely lovely.

He obviously didn't know why this little one could be seen, but it was coincidental that he always looked at himself.

This reminded him that deep in his memory, his mother was black and white like him, but much bigger.

He thought his mother was the most beautiful person in the world.

Now…

Well, his mother was still the most beautiful. Especially the elegant big round face and the dark circles under her eyes.

He vowed in his heart, en, I'll be like her in the future!

After thinking, Mo GunGun secretly looked at the big monster and secretly thought: His tail was really beautiful, but the big monster overall is a little ugly.

His face was hairless.

Fortunately, the big monster wasn't a lost cause. His silver hair was very dense, and once it is dyed green, then it will be perfect.

Peeking at the big monster's muscular, yet hairless chest and abdomen, the panda couldn't help but silently pity him. The big monster really was too unfortunate. The panda lowered his head and patted his soft, velvety belly. The big bald monster was so strong and nice, yet unfortunately lacked in appearance. Isn't it good that he is here to make up for his "weakness"?

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes happened to sweep over where the panda was. He couldn't help but smile at the scene.

The little fellow looked left and right in front of the mirror, blinking his round eyes and patting his belly. It was quite a show.

The admiral was a little curious about what his furry friend was thinking.

After tying the small mirror with a rattan on his back, Mo GunGun held up an apple to sniff. It was really fragrant!

What a great monster.

Crunch, crunch.

The panda took a big mouthful of an apple. While eating with relish, he stared at Lu Xiao Qi with damp black eyes.

After a while, the panda ate most of the apples, leaving his little belly bulging slightly.

Lu Xiao Qi noticed it and was very confused. After eating so many apples that were roughly the size of his body, where did everything that he ate go?

After eating the pile of apples, he didn't know what he wanted to do next, so the panda picked up a golden bamboo shoot…

Lu Xiao Qi's eyebrows furrowed. He couldn't bear to watch his tiny companion keep eating like this, but he also didn't have the heart to stop him. But after seeing that the little guy's belly was not rising unusually, he decided to just keep an eye on him.

Therefore, while Lu Xiao Qi was a.s.sembling parts, he stayed near Mo GunGun for the whole afternoon, even though they did not play together this time.

Soon, a pile of bamboo shoot skins and apple cores appeared nearby.

Lu Xiao Qi hadn't doubted the panda's eating ability from the very beginning, but now he felt a trace of fear.

The panda was eating too much. The admiral was afraid that he would burst his belly by accident.

The admiral's expression could be described as nothing short of amazed. At the same time, Mo GunGun, who was oblivious of the other's thoughts, took a small bite out of another bamboo shoot before resting.

The eyes of the big monster were very strange, It was kind of stifling. What's wrong with him?

The panda looked left and right with a bamboo shoot in his mouth, cautiously observing his surroundings.

However, the focus of the big monster was still on him. When Mo GunGun realized this, he blinked and stuffed some more of the bamboo shoot in to his mouth.

He then handed the rest of the bamboo shoot to the admiral and said, “Hmm?”

Lu Xiao Qi: “……”

The small eyes that revealed bootlicking intent and yet were slightly aggrieved were very interesting. Lu Xiao Qi couldn't help but tease him.

When the big monster took it away, Mo GunGun looked mournfully at the bamboo shoot that was out of his reach. He sadly smacked his lips before taking another one from the pile.

As if to ease the psychological loss, the panda began to eat with extra vigor.

Lu Xiao Qi: “……”

With the corner of his eye twitching, Lu Xiao Qi kneaded his forehead.

Mo GunGun stretched his little paws to the sky and laid on the ground. He stared at the big monster out of focus.

Do, do what?

They looked at each other for a moment before the monster got up again and continued to fiddle with strange pieces, leaving a little panda to ponder what the monster meant.

Huh??? I don't get it.

Mo GunGun grabbed his ears as he continued to eat lazily, not wanting to think anymore.

It was a really terrible sight when he decides to eat with no holds barred. At least, his belly fortunately didn't become too big even when he ate foods that were twice the size of his head. Suddenly, he happened to discover some pale bamboo shoots in his nest.

Mo GunGun went over and watched, his little tail upturning.

He carefully sniffed it and noticed a strange but mellow smell. He pulled the white bamboo shoot closer before putting it near his nose to sniff it again carefully.

It was very fragrant but a little p.r.i.c.kly.

What does it taste like?

Curious, Mo GunGun struggled a few seconds over the temptation to eat. In the end, the foodie in him won over his reason.

He peeled it open and took a small bite.

Sweet and savory yet also a bit spicy.

This, what is this?

The panda shook his round black ears and shouted for Lu Xiao Qi.

Mo GunGun: “Hmm, Hmm!” Monster, look at this!

Lu Xiao Qi turned to him and noted his surprised eyes before silently encoding the appearance of the bamboo shoot into his memory. He then gently patted the small panda's head before continuing to work.

The panda seemed to like this kind of food so he decided to bring some back for him next time.

After being patted, the panda licked his nose happily. It seemed that the big monster thought of him as someone special.

So, the panda took to heart the satisfaction that “two different species that couldn't communicate could live harmoniously”.

Throughout the day, Mo GunGun played around and ended up eating almost all the bamboo shoots in his nest and half of the pile of apples. As for the purple shoots near the entrance of his nest…

Well, it's needless to say that Mo GunGun decided to stay up late that night.

After eating another white bamboo shoot, Mo GunGun felt invigorated, as if he could float. However, contrary to his expectations, he staggered while he walked, before falling flat on the ground.

He laid on his back with his little belly up, clutched his hind legs and started rolling around.

Lu Xiao Qi was shocked.

He saw the little guy suddenly become very excited and now he was crying out softly.

Lu Xiao Qi frowned slightly. He set down his armor and approached Mo GunGun, putting his index finger to the panda's nose.

Wet.

His eyes were watery like he was on the verge of crying, but he was also excited to show off his sharpened teeth. After smelling the warm and familiar scent, the little panda couldn't help but feel more exuberant. Four little paws stretched out at the same time, and holding the finger in front of his face, he opened his mouth and bit it.

Even in their daily situations, the panda was always full of spirit, but now, he was especially more excited than normal. His eyes were also a little misty.

It looked very strange, just like… he was drunk.

After maintaining their position for two seconds, Lu Xiao Qi withdrew his hand and happened to look at the skin of the white bamboo shoot. He picked it up and put it near his nose to smell.

Lu Xiao Qi was rendered speechless.

He then lowered his head to find that found that the panda was not moving anymore.

Lu Xiao Qi watched Mo GunGun snore carefreely with his plump b.u.t.t facing the sky. The admiral simply had nothing to say.

Mere moments ago, the panda was still up and rowdy but now he was as dead as a log.

Lu Xiao Qi picked up the panda, stared at the forest and hesitated, before putting him on the mat in the tent. The admiral then went to press a small b.u.t.ton on his mecha, causing a cus.h.i.+on to fall out. He then went back to the tent and gently picked up and laid the little furball on it. It was very cute.

Lu Xiao Qi watched him sleep for several seconds before he turned around to go out.

So, in his sleep, Mo GunGun had unknowingly accomplished the great achievement of entering the admiral's room.

Lu Xiao Qi had too few materials on hand. There were many obstacles on this uncivilized planet, but they were much easier to handle than he expected.

He doesn't know how it happened.

Pop. pop.

Lu Xiao Qi was stunned. He turned around just in time to see his tent shaking before collapsing.

“En!”

Lu Xiao Qi: “……”

His collapsed tent revealed a b.u.mp. The shapes of sharp hind claws were on his left with a small round head on the right. Up and down, the little b.u.mp under the tent was struggling.

Riiip.

A small black nose popped out of the tent after a few slashes, and the next second, a black paw with delicate pink pads also came out.

Lu Xiao Qi just stared.

The little tear in the tent soon squeezed out the features of a panda's head. Obviously, he was still in a drunken state. It seemed that the white bamboo shoot was very strong.

Lu Xiao Qi paused before he stretching out his tail to pick of the panda.

Slap.

The tail was slapped away by the small paw.

Lu Xiao Qi, who is known for his strength, was surprised. He didn't use any strength to try and pick up his little companion, but he shouldn't have been forced back by the little guy. Not only that, Lu Xiao Qi also felt a bit of pain from the sharp claws.

Lu Xiao Qi's eyes squinted as he carefully scrutinized the delicate looking paws. They didn't look any different from usual.

Then, he glanced at the white bamboo shoot skin.
