A typical prank that quite a few teachers like to pull on the first day of school is one of those read till the end types of quizzes. The point being that you receive a list of bizarre tasks you need to complete where the directions tell you to read to the end before beginning. Obviously the last one specifies you only need to complete like two of them, but how are ~first graders supposed to be able to detect such an elaborate trap.

Another example would be a test question where you are partic.i.p.ating in a race with ten other people. You just pa.s.sed third place, what place are you now in. Especially if you are a small kid stressed out taking a test, it can be super easy to just think if I'm now in front of third place, I must be in second place.

But the by far cruelest example I have today would be when a driving test instructor tells you to ignore the stop sign since it's an empty street that n.o.body uses. This a perfect example of a situation with no right answers as the instructor can fail you either way depending on how he's feeling.
