The limo they'd come in still waited for them on the street. The chauffeur tilted his hat at them.
"Get in." The door had barely closed behind them before Devin pounced.
They'd exchanged many kisses over the month they'd been dating. Hot kisses, tender kisses, but Devin had never kissed Eli as if he wanted to consume him.
"Hey, easy." Eli pushed Devin back a bit, trying to find his breath. He licked the blood off his lip where Devin had split it. "We have all night."
"Sorry, pet, it's been too long since I've last had sex."
"Really?" He'd hoped Devin hadn't had sex with anyone while they were dating, but he didn't know how long it had been before then. "And since when do you call me pet?"
Devin smiled. "What, you don't like the nickname? I think it suits you. You're mine, necromancer, don't forget it."
He hadn't seen this dominant side of Devin before, and Eli didn't know if he liked it or not. "I guess I am yours." He might reconsider if Devin turned psychotic on him, though.
Tentatively, Eli scooted closer and let Devin kiss him again. Strange, although the spark was there, it almost felt as if he were kissing a stranger. Eli tried to relax into Devin's embrace, but tension had him stiff in Devin's arms.
"What's wrong?" Devin asked, his face a picture of concern.
Eli shook his head. "I don't know. I'm sorry. I guess that ghost affected me more than I thought."
Devin pulled Eli close. "No worries, pet, we'll wait until we get back to the room. We don't want the nosy driver watching us anyway."
"I don't think he's watching." Eli figured with werewolves as his usual charges, the driver had probably seen a lot more than a bit of kissing.
It didn't take long to return to school. They exited and waved to the driver. Eli let Devin lead him to his dorm room even as nervous energy swirled around him like butterflies in a wind tunnel.
"Relax, we don't have to do anything you don't want to."
"But I do-I want," Eli replied. He'd been all ready for tonight to be their first time together.
"Good." Devin grinned, a predatory smile Eli had never seen from him before.
Devin locked the dorm room door.
Eli sucked in a breath silently, chastising himself for his sudden bout of anxiety. They'd waited long enough. Eli wasn't some simpering Victorian virgin-he was a healthy male who needed to be fucked by his boyfriend. Before he could change his mind, Eli stripped off his shirt.
"Nice."
Devin returned the favor while walking toward Eli.
A low hum of appreciation rolled up Eli's throat. "You're gorgeous." Broad muscles and a teasing trail to the line of Devin's waistband had Eli's fingers twitching to touch.
"Go ahead. I'm yours for the taking." Devin said the words, but Eli had no doubt he was the one who would be taken in the end.
"Good." Eli trailed his fingers down Devin's chest. The short silky hair teased his fingertips. "Mmm."
He'd dared this far before. More than once his hands had snuck beneath Devin's shirt only to be pulled away.
"Bedroom. Strip down so I can see what else you've got to offer."
Eli raised an eyebrow over Devin's sudden bossiness. "Yes, sir."
"Mmm, remember that phrase." Devin's blue eyes darkened and his mouth curled up at the corners in an expression of approval.
Not certain if he liked this new, bossier version of Devin, Eli decided to withhold judgment until they'd had sex at least once. Anticipation had his hands shaking as he yanked off his shoes and removed the rest of his clothing.
He settled on the bed, leaning back to watch Devin approach. "Like what you see?"
"Oh, yes. For a skinny necromancer you strip down nicely."
Eli frowned at the 'skinny necromancer' part. The words had a derogatory ring to them.
"Um, thanks."
"You're welcome." Devin stripped down the rest of the way, and Eli got his first look at his boyfriend's cock. Thick veins pulsed across the length and Eli's mouth watered with the urge to feel the surface with his tongue.
"Gorgeous."
Devin preened for a moment before opening the side table and yanking out the lube. "Spin around. I'm going to take your ass. This way will be more comfortable."
For no explainable reason, Eli hesitated to turn his back on Devin.
"Now!" Devin ordered.
Eli paused, then rolled over.
"That's it, pet. You have a delectable ass."
When had 'pet' become Devin's nickname for him? Eli opened his mouth to speak, but Devin took that moment to shove a slicked finger into Eli's ass and he forgot what he had planned to say.
"That's it, relax for me. I'm going to own this ass. You will be mine, my pretty necromancer."
Soft kisses were showered along Eli's shoulders punctuated by the occasional sensual nip of teeth. "I'm going to stretch you a bit more," Devin growled.
Eli hissed at the bite of another finger shoved in his hole. "More lube," he gasped.
"Sorry, sweetness." Devin's voice had dipped into his usual tender tones when he talked to Eli. A kiss between the shoulder blades and a liberal application of lube smoothed the process along. Two fingers became three until Eli pushed back against Devin's touch.
"More. I need more."
"I have what you need." Devin filled Eli in one smooth motion.
Eli gasped, arching his back to meet Devin's thrust. Even with preparation he knew he'd feel that burn tomorrow.
"This first one is going to be quick," Devin warned.
"That's all right. We're young, we can go again." Eli would suck Devin off next time. His ass would only be good for one time tonight. Maybe with time and more experience he could go all night, but that wouldn't be happening any time soon.
"Bring yourself off," Devin ordered.
Eli's cock was dripping copious fluid-it wouldn't take much for him to come. He wrapped his hand around his erection, fisting his shaft in concert with Devin's motions. "Harder," he moaned, his voice dipping to new, unrecognizable lows.
His butt would ache tomorrow sitting on those hard classroom chairs, but right now he didn't care. He needed more. Clenching the sheets in his fists, he spread his thighs and tilted his ass higher to give Devin a better angle, shamelessly exposing himself to his lover.
"Anything you want, babe," Devin promised.
Devin slid out until only his tip remained, spreading Eli wide, then slammed back inside, setting up a smooth, mind-blowing rhythm, barely allowing time for Eli to catch his breath. Heat flared between them. Their bodies slicked with sweat as motion and passion propelled their need higher. Eli gasped, desperate to collect whatever oxygen he could between the mind-blowing movements of his lover. "I'm coming."
"Good."
Eli's confession must have pushed Devin over the edge. He pulsed inside Eli, filling him with his seed amid a chorus of moans and groans.
Eli collapsed, not caring that he landed in the wet spot. Exhaustion over using his magic, banishing the hellhound and his overall difficult day overwhelmed him. He barely registered Devin pulling out before he tumbled into the black abyss of sleep.
Chapter Eight.
Devin's hands felt weird. He wiggled his fingers, and they moved accordingly. Hmm. His head had a mushy, spongy feel as if he were moving underwater or without his own power. That was it-he felt like a puppet being pulled along by unseen strings.
"What's wrong with me?" he whispered.
He stumbled over to the mirror he had on his wardrobe, and examined his reflection. Shirtless, he turned his body back and forth at the waist then swung his arms up and down. The mirror image did the same thing.
"What did I do last night?"
He turned back to the bed, looked down at Eli and smiled. At least one thing had worked out. He'd finally gotten Eli into his bed. After weeks of slow, careful courtship he now knew what happened with a smoking hot necromancer in bed. His cock rose in anticipation of repeating the event. Why had he gotten out of bed in the first place?
"He was delicious."
"Whoa!" Devin spun around the room. Someone had spoken. Except... No. It hadn't been in his ear-it had been in his head.
"Devin, are you all right?"
Panicked, Devin took a series of short breaths, trying to keep the room from spinning. He opened his mouth to tell Eli that, no, he wasn't the fuck okay. Instead his mouth opened and he said, "Yes, sweetheart. I'm fine. I just stubbed my toe."
"Oh." Eli blinked up at him. "Come back to bed. It's Saturday and neither of us has classes."
Eli's rumpled hair and sincere gaze twisted Devin's emotions until he was pretty sure he could give Eli his heart and be certain of its proper care.
He's sweet. He'll be so wonderful to possess. We just need to seduce him a little more.
"E-Eli. You should probably go back to your dorm. I promised I'd do something with my brothers today."
A hurt expression flickered across Eli's face. "Sure. I'll get out of your hair then."
If he didn't know something was seriously wrong with him, Devin would've apologized. As it was, he needed to get Eli out of there as fast as possible.
He rushed Eli to the door, planting a kiss on his cheek when Eli turned his head. "I'll call you."
Eli snorted. "Sure you will. I think you got what you wanted."
The door slammed shut behind him. "Fuck!"
Don't worry. We'll get him back. He's too delicious not to taste again.
Devin froze. Whatever was inside him had fed on Eli's energies.
"Why are you being such a dick? What did sweet Eli do to deserve that sort of treatment?"
Devin spun around. Dean lay on their couch, scowling up at him.
"I had to get him out of here. Th-there's something inside of me." Devin stuttered out, more than a little surprised when the entity or whatever the fuck it was allowed him to talk. Disapproval poured across him like sour milk. He gagged and rushed over to the trashcan where last night's pizza rushed back up.
"What's going on?" Dan and Farren emerged from their room.
"Something's wrong with Devin."
"Where's Eli?" Dan asked.
"He scared him off, being noble or some such crap," Dean said.
Foolish boy. You're going to ruin all my plans. Keep this up and your brothers will be twins instead of triplets.
Icy sweat chilled his skin as fear manifested into full body terror.
Devin hovered over the trashcan. After no more immediate hurling, he dragged himself to the couch. Dean moved in time for Devin to collapse on it.
"I don't know what's wrong with me."
"Do we need to take you to the healer?" Dan asked.
"I don't know." Devin began to shake. Right then he wished he hadn't chased Eli away. He could've used a comforting touch.
Eli snuck into his dorm room. If the evening had ended any other way, he would've marched into the room proudly, but as it was, he slunk inside, depression crushing his soul.
"What happened?" Porter asked, floating above his bed. Since he'd confessed his ghost nature to Eli, he didn't feel obligated to pretend to be human anymore.
Eli plopped down on his bed. Before he knew it, he'd spilled the entire evening out to Porter.
The ghost frowned. "So Devin is acting strange and you're not sure what happened to the spirit you tried to banish."
