When it is considered that the Liver is one of the most important organs in eliminating from the system the vitiated matter which acc.u.mulates in unhealthy persons, the value of

c.u.mBER'S

PODOPHYLLIN

AND

_COLOCYNTH PILLS_

WILL AT ONCE BE MANIFEST.

PODOPHYLLIN is an American remedy of comparatively recent introduction, but which has rapidly made its way to the foremost place in the treatment of Liver Complaints. COLOCYNTH, on the other hand, has according to Orfila, a specific stimulant influence over the large intestines. The combination of these two drugs forms a Valuable Medicine in the treatment of complaints arising from Disorders of the Liver and Bowels, such as: Furred Tongue, Disagreeable Taste in the Mouth, Headache, Giddiness, General La.s.situde, Pains in the Back--especially under the shoulder blade--and irregular action of the bowels and other excretory organs. Moreover these Medicines are made up into very small sized pills, which are covered with a tasteless pearly white film, and they will be found a most useful family medicine for both s.e.xes.
