Isa, who was carefully watching the live streaming, was almost dancing happily while painting on her canvas board, looking at the confident boy. She was acting like a parent, whose child is performing on the stage in his school's annual programme.

Jacob stepped inside his personal elevator, while his a.s.sistant accompanied him. The lift door stopped at the 45th floor and the doors were pushed open, revealing a large pathway, leading to an auditorium where the meeting was to be held.

Suddenly, the cameras started flas.h.i.+ng again and Jacob gave a wide grin to the reporters. These were the reporters of high profile media companies, who were permitted to enter the building for the meet covearage.

"Congratulations, on your first day Mr. Jacob. Are you nervous?" Someone from the group of reporters questioned to the boy.

Jacob stopped and turned his head towards the reporters. "Well! Who is not nervous on their first day of work? Were you nervous for your respective job interviews at my age?" Jacob gave a wide grin, while pleasantly speaking to them.

"Offcourse!" They all nodded in a 'yes', smiling at Jacob.

"Well then, that is how I feel right now. A little excited, a little nervous, a little happy but also quite a lot sad. This wasn't how I was supposed to take up my father's position. But I guess, you can't control your loved ones death!" Jacob smiled sadly, while his words created a pin drop silence.

"Ahh! I apologise! I am just missing my dad a lot today! He would have been so happy today. Anyways thank you all for being a part of this day today! It means a lot." Jacob smiled in grat.i.tude and went off, inside the auditorium.

The media who was planning to grill the boy, was suddenly feeling overwhelmed. The media who had been rebuking and cursing the boy from past so many months, were now actually feeling for the boy!
