Jacob studied for another two hours, getting geared up for his official first public appearance as the boss of "The Miller Group." He arranged all his papers back, in the file and stood up, looking one last time at his father's photo.

He dialled a number and put the phone on speaker. "We are leaving! Bring the car."

In just a few seconds, his father's Mercedez Benz, was parked outside the study and Jacob marched out of the study, towards the car.

"Good afternoon sir!"

"Good afternoon! Where are the others?" Jacob seated himself in the back seat of the car, looking at his watch.

"Sir, they are waiting for you at the exit gate!" The driver switched on the ignition and moved towards the exit area of the house.

As the car moved towards the gate, Jacob looked at his father's staff, waiting for him. His heart raced rapidly, looking at them. Suddenly he remembered Isa's words to read her messages, when ever he gets nervous. He checked his message and saw Isa's message.

Foodie: Don't forget, you are a genius. Just think as per your gut feeling, not by anybody else's.?

Jacob looked at the message, reading it again and again. Suddenly he looked at the driver. "Stop the car please!"

The driver stopped the car to where everybody from staff was waiting for Jacob. They were all about to leave, thinking Jacob would not even roll down his car window, to meet them.

Jacob quickly got off from the car, looking at his father's employees. They were stunned to see Jacob getting off the car, specially for them.

"Good afternoon everyone!" Jacob smiled pleasantly, looking at the nine well dressed people, standing in front of him. He knew, winning his staff's approval was another important aspect, so as to win their cooperation. He had read that, it is important to make your staff feel respected and valued, no matter his post.

"Good morning sir!" They all spoke in unison.

"Well, This is my first day and I am very lucky to have you all to support me! Thank you for being with this company, even after dad pa.s.sed away! Let us make things work again as a team!" Jacob paused for a while looking at their stunned faces. "That's all I wanted to say, we shall now leave for the head-quaters." Jacob smiled pleasantly, looking at them.

They all were stunned to see Jacob's down to earth att.i.tude. He was no where like the other rich brats who had rich fathers. They all smiled back at him, as if approving of him already.

"It is our pleasure to work with you sir!" An elderly man, William, who was Jacob's father's public relation advisor, spoke up.

"Thank you William!" Jacob smiled at him and they all seated themselves in their respective cars.

As soon as Jacob seated back in his car, he heaved a sigh of relief. "So far so good..."
