Isa's eyes flew open as he heard the boy's unexpected reply. She retraced her hands from his back and looked at the boy.

He was smiling again!! But this was yet a very different smile, she had never seen!! The smile of confident man who knows his path, ready to conquor the world. His eyes was full of huge determination and suddenly his expressions softened as he looked in Isa's eyes.

Isa wanted to ask him, if he was sure about holding the meeting so quickly, but she did not say anything. She was scared that her question might, drop down his confidence abruptly. "This is great partner! Lets get going!" Isa held out her palm high and Jacob slapped her palm, grinning ear to ear.

"Lets get going!" The boy reverted back with equal enthusiasm, making the girl feel elated. Finally, she had managed to bring back some light in the boy's life.

Isa walked back towards her seat, while Jacob too resumed finis.h.i.+ng his father's first book. She looked at the boy again and again, secretly praying to let things be good for him! She can not bear to see the boy cry again! He was studying with full concentration, jotting down the important points. Isa smiled looking at the boy, somehow feeling proud of him.

Jacob looked up and noticed the girl looking at him. "What happened? Too handsome am I? Eh?" He chuckled at his own words, making Isa smile even more.

"That you are! Specially when you are smiling! Always stay like this!" Isa patted his hand again and started reading the book.

The two started reading constantly, with a stronger determination this time. Their only goal was to to make Jacob, rock the next day's investors meet. Isa too noted down many other quotes and impactful lines from the book, quoted by his father.

The two continued to study constantly, not even realising that the sun was slowly setting and it was getting dark already.
