Chapter 30 - Way Out...

"Ummm! Yes! I know that too! Though, I have never read any of it." Jacob too walked inside the cubicle and sudenly stopped at the thresh-hold, in amazement!

The large wooden cubicle had a huge picture of his dad, hung right in the centre. "This....This...is..is.."

"This cubicle was newly built by our college, after your father pa.s.sed away. Every book, ever written by him or written on him, is present in this cubicle!"

Jacob looked around the shelves having thousands of books. "Wow! My father did keep a huge book collection in his office too, but I never entered that part." Jacob started studying the names of the books, tearing up a little. He then walked towards the original collection of books, auth.o.r.ed by his dad.

Isa looked at the boy, giving his sweet time to look at his father's original collection. There was an unreadable expression on the boy's face, which made it hard for Isa to figure out what he was exactly feeling. She wanted to help the boy, but she was too nervous. Bringing the boy in this cubicle might yurn out to be a big mistake.

Jacob took out a book from the shelf, touching its cover with his fingers. He had a smile on his face, as he looked at his father's image on the cover page. "This is the first book, he ever wrote! He must be of my age then!"

Isa smiled at the boy and came closer to him. "Jacob, what is the one thing you want right now?"

"Death! So that I go away from all these problems and meet my dad!"

"And you think, once you meet him, will he be happy about you ending his life like this? Will he be proud of you?" Isa looked in his teary dark eyes.

"No!" Jacob nodded and closed his eyes as if in great pain.

"What do you think, you should do, to make your father proud of you?"

"It's not so easy Isa. I have n.o.body to help me or guide me. Not even a relative!" Jacob frowned, looking at the girl.

"I know it is not so easy! But atleast try! Atleast you can face your father with pride. He will be satisfied that you tried your hundered percent to make him proud. At times, result does not matter, only the intentions matter!"

"Ok! I am ready! But how? How will I do it? There is n.o.body to help me!" I need to face the company investors! What do I do? Who will teach me? What will I tell the investors?" Jacob looked at the girl in anger. "It is not practically possible Isa, no matter whatever you say!"

"If I give you a way out, will you be willing to try?" Isa held out her palm, as if asking for a promise.

You will give me a way out?" Jacob raised his eye-brows looking at the girl in disbelief.

"Yes!" Isa smiled.

"Ok! Done!" Jacob slapped her palm lightly, making the girl cheer up instantly.
