Chapter 100 - God Is Kind.

After a few more minutes, they both were already inside the elevator, heading towards the parking.

"You are unusually quiet!" Jacob frowned, looking at the girl, while walking towards her silver mercedez.

"Huh? Me? You should be happy that I am quiet! Its a rare thing!" Isa chuckled while unlocking her car. "See you at 9:00 pm." Isa winked and drove off the car, outside the premises.

Jacob smiled and looked at the preceeding car for a very long time. There was an unusual smile on his face, which even he did not realise. He walked about aimlessly, towards his car, grinning ear to ear. He sat inside the car, setting the rear-view mirror and saw his reflection in the mirror. "What am I smiling for? I look like a fool!" Jacob nodded his head in disapproval and drove his car out of the premises.

As soon as he reached his home, he happily switched on the telivision. Today he was excited to hear the news, for the first time in so many months.

All the media channels were filled with his news. Everywhere he s.h.i.+fted the channel, the reporters were praising him, whole heartidly. Some were even comparing him with his father, and predicting him to be equally successful. Half an hour later he switched off the television, heading upstairs to select the clothes for his dinner.

"Someone is glowing today!" Samantha shouted from the living room, looking at the boy climbing the stairs happily and humming a song.

"Hahaha! My meeting was too good aunty! I am very happy!" Jacob smiled, halting at the stairs and turning to look at Samantha.

"I know! I saw that on television. You looked just like your father. Just who were you texting all this while over phone? The cameras were on you, but you were busy messaging!" Samantha smiled wickedly, as if already knowing the answer.

"Haha! It was Isa. She was making sure, my mood remains uplifted! I am taking her out for a treat today! No dinner for me aunty!" Jacob winked and resumed climbing the stairs.

Samantha looked at the boy and thanked G.o.d, for sending Isa in his life. "G.o.d is kind! If he s.n.a.t.c.hes something, he also gives something in return!"
