8 Canada Eh?

After having fallen asleep, I was suddenly woken up by the sound of girls screaming. I sighed and face palmed, as I thought to myself: another one. Well more like two or three if we're being honest. Without a moment's hesitation, I instantly wolfed out and ran to where I heard the screams of the girls. What I found was a big a.s.s bear and it was standing back on its hind legs and let out a monstrous roar. Collapsed on the ground about 10 feet away from the bear were two girls hugging each other and crying, they looked like college age girls. Their friend, the third girl was backed up against a tree behind them and just fell to the ground and screamed, "No I don't want to die, I'm too young!" I decided now was the time for action while the bear was off the ground, and so I came barreling in on all fours and tackled the bear out of the area.

Once it was me and the bear, I quickly darted in and ripped its throat out with my right claw. The bear slowly collapsed to the ground, and I wiped my claws off on the gra.s.s. I slowly made my way back into the clearing where the three scared girls were and found the three of them were in a group hug and crying silently. They were on the ground sitting and holding each other extremely close. I stopped 70 feet away and began to speak. "I'm a guardian of the woods patrolling Quebec and Maine in the United States. You girls are now safe, I mean you no harm. I can smell a number of humans nearby, they must be looking for you. I'll bring you close to them if you wish. If not, I can point you in the right direction."

The three girls stopped crying, and stared at me in disbelief. One of the girls spoke for the other two. "Are you a real werewolf? I thought that they didn't exist? Can you change at will? Can you turn into a human now?" I nodded to the girls first question, and smiled as I instantly changed back to my human form. The girls face turned crimson when she saw my face, and one of the other girls said, "Well d.a.m.n. f.u.c.k me daddy!" The other girl next to her hurriedly covered her friend's mouth, and the girl standing in front of me turned dark red. I chuckled lightly in response, and said, "Well I can take you girls to your friends. Let's be off then shall we?" The three girls acquiesced, and so we headed northwest towards the group of about 20 people heading this way in a horizontal line pattern. A typical search party tactic.

Not too long after we began walking, I heard voices calling out. "Jane! Irene! Katie!" So that's the name of the girls. I smiled at them and whispered, "Lycaon". The girls eyes widened for a second, and then they turned a slight shade of pink. A few minutes later, the girls began to call out to the search party, and all of the people began to rush over to us once they heard them. Now surrounded by a large group of people who were crying tears of joy, I stood off to the side awkwardly. Then the girl who lead the others who I now knew as Irene, told everyone that I found them in the woods and lead them towards where I'd, "heard lots of people yelling". Everyone ate this story right up, and began to laud me as a hero. I blushed in embarra.s.sment, and shyly explained that I was camping in the woods when I happened to hear the girls crying. Everyone brought me along with the flow, and before I knew it, I was eating at a restaurant Légende in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Oh my G.o.d, was the food ever amazing.

After eating more food than necessary, the group thanked me once again for my help and after me repeatedly convincing them, I was brought back to the woods. Waving bye to the girls, and the crowd of people who came to their aid, I began to make my journey southeast, and back home. Transforming into a werewolf once I was in the woods, I ran full of joy and freedom, marveling yet again at the immense freedom and oneness that feel with nature as I run underneath the light of the moon. Letting out a long and mighty howl, I took off light a jet and flew across the forest floor to the southeast, and back to Maine.

However, before I made it too far, I encountered a situation. I found an abandoned baby in a cardboard box here in the middle of the woods! A little baby girl, and she has pure snow white skin, and pointy ears. A baby elf! But why was she dumped here in the woods? Such a precious existence should be cherished, and treasured greatly! I have to bring this child home with me! She has no where else to go in this world. Holding the tiny little baby tightly against my chest, it began to pour heavy rain, and I howled at the heavens in anger. Who dares do such a thing to a little baby?! The baby opened her eyes, and began to look at me in the eyes with intelligence far beyond that of a human baby. I looked the little girl in the eyes and said, "You shall be called Jelia, for you are like a precious gem. A diamond in the rough. I will take care of, and raise you with care. You have my word little one."

The girl had a big smile on her face and began to quickly fall back asleep. Once I confirmed that she was asleep, I took off again heading to my apartment. It seems that it's time for me to upgrade to a house. I have way more than enough money for it. I've always chosen to live my life frugally, but times are a changing and this child needs the best of the best. I won't accept anything less. Once I got a few hundred meters away from the edge of the woods, I changed back into a human and headed to my apartment number 12.

When I opened the door and stepped in, I was suddenly rushed by three overly energetic people. "David where have you been? We've all been worried about you. We know that you're basically invincible, but still. You should have at least... IS THAT A BABY?!" Yvette began to squeal in shock and excitement, and her shock grew even more when she saw the silver haired child's ears. "An elf?!" This was said by the three of them in three different ways. Vale was nerding out, Karen was in denial and Yvette was making baby noises to the poor child. The child gave me a 'who the heck are these people?' look. I laughed and explained to everyone that the child was much more mature than a human baby. She may look like a 1 year old, but she could be 10 years old already for all we knew. I don't know anything about elves other than fantasy stuff, but I'm sure longevity is a thing.

Once everyone calmed down, I explained my promise to the child and the name that I gave her being Jelia. No one argued with my name choice surprisingly, and Yvette and Karen began to excitedly talk to Jelia like she was able to understand. I'm sure Jelia can understand our intentions, but she might not know English. For all I know, she might only know the language of the elves, or G.o.d forbid she might not know any language. I mean the poor thing was abandoned in the middle of the woods in a freaking cardboard box! I shook slightly in fury, but managed to calm down when Yvette placed her hand on my shoulder. I let out a slow and heavy breath and calmed down.

I decided to take a shower, and Karen and Yvette said that they were going to a certain super center for baby clothes. Vale hung out with the baby in the living room as I got in the shower. 15 minutes later I walked back into the living room dressed, and found my buddy Vale on my computer playing an mmo with Jelia on his lap watching with sparkling eyes. I laughed as I watched the birth of the first elven gaming girl. She's gonna own people in pvp in no time, I'm sure she's at least as smart as a 3rd grader right now. She had very clear, alert and intelligent eyes. These were not the eyes of a baby. Suddenly, Jelia began to shock Vale and I. She spoke.

"Me try please?" It was simple, and very childish wording, but she spoke. In English at that! Maybe elves have an inborn language translation skill or something? Oh well, I nudged Vale and said, "Hey buddy it's Jelia's turn! Make her an account, and give her an elven healer! That suits her I think." Vale gave me a look and shook his head. "No my friend, you are wrong. She must be an archer! Elves have to wield bows my brother! This is the way!" Jelia began to giggle with a voice like bells and looked at me and said, "Hewer!" I win! Ahahaha! Vale covered his face in shame, but then we both started laughing and went to town on designing Jelia's elven healer. We of course made a loli elf healer. After all our little elf is a super duper loli at the moment. I can just imagine people's reaction if we put her on the mic. Hue hue!

As Vale and I were laughing like maniacs, Jelia had been carefully paying attention as we explained the controls and how to use the mic. She shocked us both when she grabbed the mic and put it on and said, "Hewo! ennybuddy dere?!" There was an explosion of voices on the computer. People screaming about how a real loli has descended, and people chanting "G.o.ddess, G.o.ddess!". As Vale and I snickered and watched Jelia rapidly make friends, and got a ma.s.sive following who lead her to level and quest, we didn't notice our doom approaching.

With a hard chop to the back of both of our heads, Karen freaked out and yelled, "You guys are letting the loli play mmos?! Are you stupid?!" Yvette looked at me with confusion, and Vale and I both looked at each other before both saying, "No loli no life!". This wasn't recieved very well. Another round of head chops, and some added face smacking. Karen sighed and said, "You're both idiots. But she looks happy, just... Wtf?! She has her own freaking army following her already?! Loli G.o.ddess Army! Seriously?! What a surprise! A bunch of people banded together to protect her in the game? Wow, my hope in humanity is restored." I looked at Vale, he looked at me; neither of us said a word to ruin Karen's delusion. That army of 'gentlemen' and 'ladies', was just full of lolicons! But we'll take that secret, and never reveal it!

Neither of us are worried about the lolicons. They're the safe and n.o.ble type. The type that squeal at the cuteness of lolis, and live to protect them. Honestly this'll do Jelia some good. She'll get to see many facets of humanity with her followers. Is it weird that a little child, basically a baby is playing an mmo? If she was human, it'd be impossible. But she's an elf. Anything is possible for this child. Who would have thought I'd bring home an elf child after a trip to Canada eh?
