Chapter 3

(Sorrywe cant be together)

I heard someone say, crying.

(I wanted to be together forever, but looks like its impossible)

There was someone looking at me with a sad gaze, and the warmth of finger tips stroking me gently. He seemed terribly apologetic, but I was an abandoned cat to begin with. I thought it was nothing to worry about. Before I met him, I had been picked up from a cardboard box by a small girl who called me cute, hugging me as she took me to her home, but her mother told her, no, we cant keep him, and with that one statement, I was abandoned once again.

I was told, youll be picked up by a nice personbut, I figured no one like that would ever appear before me. I had been captured by strange people who hit and hurt me, so when by some good luck a window in the room had been left open, I ran away. When I was a stray, Id always run away whenever I saw people, but only he was special.
