That year, Song Qinghuan was seven years old.

The kidnappers hid her from place to place, and she was unconscious and unaware of where she was. The final destination was an abandoned factory where little Song Qinghuan witnessed the kidnappers became fretted and cruel day by day.

Some kicked her with their feet, and others extinguished their burning cigarettes against her hands. What she thought at that time was, "why hasn't Dad come to save me?"

Early on, the Song family did business illegally which offended some people who set fire on this family and decided to kidnap the most favored child from the younger generation of the Song family.

At that time, the most favored one was Song Shuyao.

The kidnappers didn't know the appearance of the Song family's daughter, but only a name. So they didn't even know they kidnapped the wrong person.

She was chewing a smelly dead mouse mechanically. The little boy took action before thinking. He ran to her and beat off the thing in her hand.

The little boy frowned and said, "This meat can't be eaten. Spit it out!"

Little Qinghuan didn't spit it out but swallowed it quickly. The little boy knelt down in front of her, stretched out his left hand to hold her mouth and put his right hand into her mouth to take it out.

Until little Qinghuan spit all of it out with tears, the little boy carefully picked her up and moved to the side for several steps. He rubbed his hands on his school uniform and reached them out again. But little Qinghuan hid away in fear.

The little boy hugged and coaxed with laugh, "Don't be afraid. I will protect you."

Song Qinghuan looks at herself in the mirror and is lost in deep thought.
