Chapter 4  A fleeting glimpse

Chen Chengduo withdrew his consciousness that attempted to communicate with his warpet. It did not matter if he wasn't able to communicate with it or not. Chen Chengduo estimated that he was not close enough to the position of his warpet, or he was not skilled enough to manipulate his consciousness to communicate with it.

However, he was able to approximately determine the general location of his warpet. It was just in the city in front of him, he just needed to go in and search.

(t/n: E Yu is crocodile lol) It was the warpet of the cold face s.h.i.+ Rui, who was driving. s.h.i.+ Rui's character was also similar to his warpet. He was not a man of many words, but when it comes to fighting, he sure was ruthless.

Li hui who always love to nag, his warpet is called Mao Ya, a leopard. At this moment, his leopard was being held by him.

So the big leopard was pressed on Li Hui's leg as if it has no weight while Li Hui pinched its thick paws to play.

It's just that the leopard would from time to time revealed its teeth and made some guttural sounds.

Although their s.p.a.cecraft had been destroyed, the Tate had upgraded the cybernetic organisms, and they all became self-evolving, and their hunting strategies became more deadly.

This team, for them to be able to live until now was definitely deliberated by the cybernetic organisms.

Chen Chenduo kicked the door open with a gatling gun in hand, he swept away some foreign animals that rushed at them. The three men quickly caught up, and their respective pets became beams of light and melted into their bodies, strengthening their attack power. Several people also rushed up with their weapons.

The convoy was besieged by relatively low-leveled cybernetic organisms, most of them equipped with single ion-guns, the kind of which were outdated, so they were quickly solved by Chen Chengduo.

Li Hui shouted at the door. “Everyone should scatter and only gather at certain intervals, and don't crowd together if you want to survive!!”

However, these people who have been brought out of the air raid shelter had already seen Li Chitian's power, who was strong enough to protect them in their eyes.

Li Chitian said, “These are my own people. Why would they listen to you? Helping to solve just a few cybernetic organisms and you want to attract people's hearts?”

Li Hui looked at Li Chitian as if he was an idiot. “Why won't you run for your life first?? Don't you know that this is the easiest way to attract the beasts? You will be surrounded by them!”

“Such an alarmist talk, why would Laozi believe you!  Even if more cybernetic organisms come, Laozi alone can solve them!” Li Chitian refused to give in at all, he had just built up his prestige, naturally he would want to strike the iron while it's hot. What's more, he had even merged with his Warpet and already doubled his combat power.

When Shu Xiaohui heard the intense sound of gunshots outside, he boldly looked out with his head outstretched. However, as his car was carrying guns and it was the most important thing in Li Chitian's eyes. So, at the beginning, Fan Dongli, with the help of his wind power, drove the car all the way into the entrance of the underground garage.

Therefore, Shu Xiaohui only vaguely saw someone else coming over.

At the same time, Shu Xiaohui also felt a very familiar excited emotions, just like the feeling of a very closed person coming to visit him.

Shu Xiaohui rubbed his face with his outstretched paws, hesitated for a moment. When the truck got stuck at the entrance of the underground garage for a short while, he slid out of it.

Could it be an acquaintance? Shu Xiaohui's heart thumped. After the invasion of cybernetic organisms, he did not find anyone he knew. The loneliness was really unbearable, especially after he became a hamster for no reason. The fear of loneliness really made him want to find someone he knew, at least as a little more psychological support.

So Shu Xiaohui slipped along the chaotic street and the conversation of several people slowly came to his ears.

Li Chitian said quite arrogantly, “You are all following me. Seeing that your strengths are very strong, we will all be together. Any kind of cybernetic organisms are not a problem. It is easy and simple to go to the new city, and we will definitely be able to do a big business.”

Chen Chengduo saw that the man did not realize the current problem. He fired a shot at the ground with the gatling gun in one hand and shouted, “Anyone who wants to live, go to the bas.e.m.e.nt and hide!”

This voice was a bit familiar… although the voice was slightly different, more serious and colder than what he had heard before, but he seemed to have been familiar with it for a long  time.

He became more certain that it was someone he knew. Shu Xiaohui speeded up, running quickly with his short legs.

Shu Xiaohui finally ran to the vicinity of the low-rise building, blinking his small eyes, he finally saw the man who was carrying a gatlin gun and wearing a combat uniform.

He was familiar with his figure and movements, although his handsome face, he had never seen before.

Shu Xiaohui stayed still for a moment and suddenly remembered who this person was. He turned to the underground garage in a slightly depressed way and ran off. He don't know this man, don't know this man!

Just after Shu Xiaohui had ran for a short distance, there was a click click sound in the distance, and the beams from the ion guns rushed over.

Chen Chengduo snorted coldly. Instead of dealing with the people who believed in Li Chitian like a life saving straw, he turned to deal with the cybernetic organisms that flooded this way.

Shu Xiaohui's body felt uncomfortable as this little hamster saw a large group of cybernetic organisms were rus.h.i.+ng towards them.

Li Chitian was shocked. His figure standing on the low-rise building shook and shouted at the crowd. “Don't be afraid, Laozi is here, none of you will die, pick up the gun and fight back!”

This dramatic scene shocked everyone and made all of them forgot to response.

After Li Chitian shouted, he rolled over from the building and jumped down. He ran all the way to the entrance of the underground garage, stepping on the crumbling buildings. Then several cars were thrown out, blocking the entrance of the underground garage.

Shu Xiaohui just ran to the garage and was almost hit by the car thrown out by Li Chitian.

Shu Xiaohui was angry, waving his paws indignantly, looking at the blocked entrance, and his small black eyes flashed. If only the ion gun could hit them all at once.

Then, a burst of ion guns really hit the stacked cars!

Shu Xiaohui was frightened. If it was a coincidence that the building collapsed back then, what about now?

It's hard not to imagine that his power is the kind of psychic power that made everything come true. If not then what else could it be?

At this time, however, Chen Chengduo's voice came, “If you don't have enough power, you should hide first!”

Shu Xiaohui turned his head slightly, and then saw Chen Chengduo carrying an ion gun pulled out from a cybernetic organism. After that, the man threw the ion gun aside.

After the entrance of the underground garage was opened, he turned and went to get rid of the cybernetic organisms crowding around him. But just as he turned around, he seemed to have caught a glimpse of a little mouse?

After Chen Chengduo kicked a few cybernetic organisms, he shook his head, and felt that the idea that had just emerged was a bit ridiculous. But he couldn't help think that the little mouse seemed quite familiar.
