Rob felt the liquid scatter throughout his body, reaching from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head. Then he focused himself letting out his energy only to find it blocked within his body. Good, he thought to himself now I don't have to worry about other cultivators finding me. The cloaked figure didn't wait too long to launch another attack this time he could see the invisible lines of spirit from the orb. He took out his tonfas then used

to close the distance between them jumping over the lines of spirit surprising his attacker.

A Proficiency point this was new it had never happened when he was playing online. In other words, you have to be in the regular world to improve your proficiency and gain mastery over skills. He would have to worry about it later he had to deal with this first. The cloaked figure was soon slowed trying its best to make a little distance away from Rob. Rob jumped into a

knocking up his opponent then threw in

landing each of the kicks in quick succession. He finished up the combo with a

smas.h.i.+ng the figure onto the ground.

This was unexpected were had this witch come from and what sect did it come from. Just as he was going to inspect the body it began to disappear into the ground. Soon it looked like the witch was never there, he looked up to see more than twenty witches appear throughout the school they were all looking at him. Multiple spirit lines flew towards him, he was forced to hide running towards the school. Seeing an open window Rob jumped into one of the cla.s.srooms, he then heard small explosions behind him. The lines of spirit broke through the windows shattering gla.s.s and the walls of the cla.s.sroom.

Rob felt some shards and pieces of the walls land on or around him continuing his sprint further into the school. Now that he was out of sight the attacks stopped, Rob hid inside the school he knew the school very well making it very easy for him to navigate it. He had to get the witches to spread out making it harder for them to find him so he could take them out one by one. The witches themselves weren't too powerful but he wasn't stupid enough to fight twenty on one.

It was actually very strange for him, even now that he was a cultivator he wasn't exuding any external spiritual energy. How had these cultivators even found him? Rob pressed his weight to the b.a.l.l.s of his feet sneaking around a couple of lockers. Rob moved quietly scouting the area to see if could find any of the witches by themselves. He could probably take out three or four at a time, but if they were to do that there was a good chance that he would alerting the others.

Rob turned the corner to see three witches scouting the area together they had b.u.mped into each other in the middle of the hallway. Rob didn't waste a second opening up with another

flying into the air then landing hard onto the ground. There were cracks on the floor as he smashed into the ground. The Witches surprised by his quick attack tried to flee, Rob activated his

on the first witch.

He then pushed wrapped his tonfa with spiritual energy using

not giving the witch a chance to flee. The Witch let out a hollow scream smas.h.i.+ng through a wall then turning into a white light. Rob turned to find a witch close by throwing spells at him a rain of icicles flew at him covering a wide area. Rob did his best to block the attack charging through it to the witch. A fog was then left by the attack covering the area where the attack fell.

Rob used the cover to appear next to the witch jumping forward he activated

landing three beautiful strikes on his opponent. He then threw another

destroying yet another witch he turned to see if he could find the other witch but it had already escaped most likely looking for the other ones to help it. Rob moved he couldn't stay there; most likely the witches were grouping up to finish him off. He needed to strike now that way they couldn't surround him. He made a couple more turns finding another group of witches.

This time they hadn't seen him yet so he sneaked up behind them using

to have one of the witches. .h.i.t two others. Once all three were dazed Rob managed to kill two of them, the last one finally came out of its dazed state. It tried to run away from him although Rob used

landed on the witch's back pressing it onto the floor killing it quickly. The witches didn't even get a chance to react to his attack sneaking through the school he managed a couple more ambushes killing one or two here and there. It took the longer part of an hour but he killed the last witch disappearing and giving him some more proficiency points.

He had managed to lose only thirty percent of his health and was doing pretty good. This hadn't surprised him much the witches were pretty tough if they managed to surround you. The weird thing was the witches themselves was this a common occurrence with cultivators were monsters and other such thing attacked them often. He would have to ask Dabria or Roxie about that.

He didn't have to wait too long though he saw Dabria move towards the school her dark black hair was a pixie cut flowing down to her just below her ears. She was wearing a white summer dress which cut off right above the knees. She had noticed him then moved almost instantaneously to his side. She wore a wide grin as if she was finally happy to see him walking around instead of in the hospital. She was deeply worried about him, and hoping that he would be able to find someone in the game to cure him. She knew better than anyone that his situation would end badly soon so she thought up of a way for him to get better.

The answer was the game once her father explained to her how it would work she asked him if she could give Robert one of the game's disks. Her father was against it at first but she gave him her puppy eyes then he couldn't fight against it anymore. He smiled at her giving up and handing her a disk, the truth was there was no shortage of disks only people of the first stage or below. Seeing as Rob was going to die, him becoming a cultivator wouldn't be too bad the world of cultivators was very dangerous especially for those of the first stage. Without some big backing it would be very difficult to survive to see the second stage.

"How are you feeling? I bet about one thousand percent better huh?" She asked grinning the whole time.
