She had forgotten to finish up the last brew before they had made out of Badger Valley, she smiled and gave everyone some of the brew. Then they headed out to this mysterious field the new quest line gave out.

"We have about three hours until we have to wake up." Rekiller said. "Hopefully this next quest won't take too long." The good thing was for sure now that people could play games in their sleep it let them have a fun time outside of their daily lives. The tech also took into account the health of their bodies the better the health the better your reaction time was. That's why many people now were actively taking care of themselves better to play better in games.

They made it to the next valley and a system notification appeared

"Yes!" Raph said.

They walked onto a field it was wide open with beautiful green fields in the middle there was a keep on top of a hill. As they approached they saw soldiers readying the defenses, one of them spotted their group.

"Ah are you guys are our reinforcements?" Said a short looking soldier he seemed to be much younger than the rest of soldiers.

Raph took out their quest scroll and handed it to him. "We came by here because of this."

The young soldier was surprised that they had managed to defeat the four strong beasts of the valley. "We are the five hundred slayers protectors of the realm, I'm glad that adventurers like you happened upon this our most dangerous fight. I'll take you to Captain Sun he will be ecstatic to see you."

They were taken to meet up with Captain Sun, she was wearing heavy robes and what seemed to be metal armlets. She was by far one the tallest woman that Raph's group had ever seen at almost seven foot. She had Dark blue hair and dark yellow piercing eyes. She was overlooking a map most likely planning how to defend this valley she noticed them enter.

She turned to welcome her new guests. "h.e.l.lo and who might you be?" She asked with a very serious tone. The guard that came with them explained the situation to the Captain. She showed a faint smile and turned to welcome her new guests.

"Welcome I hope that you can help us out to defend this fort, if not these monsters will overrun the city. My men are getting into position the monsters should be attacking soon." She said showing the position of the fort, monsters and her units on the map. She explained quickly how they wanted to defend.

Rekiller turned to Wayslick and Yellowpuppy. "Do you think it will be enough?"

Yellowpuppy just shrugged. "I'm not the best at strategy like you i just now the best place to strike from so I'll take a couple of soldiers and form some mini strike forces. You should be able to grasp the battlefield a little bit better." He said turning to Wayslick.

Wayslick was still scanning the battlefield it would be tough to defend in certain place for sure. Then he began giving away positions to place the rest of the team for maximum efficiency. He began to give everyone a designated role for battle.

s.h.i.+ny went with the frontline he would try to hold the line for them near the bridge of the keep. He put Lovely and Raph on the southern wall. No hair would be in an interchanging position with him in the middle because of his aura control. Newbones and Roxie would be on the western wall. Rekiller would take the North wall and I'mcold. Raph and Roxie would have run along the sides of the walls to provide aid to whichever side was getting overrun.

Captain sung led them out of the room to the positions they had chosen. Soon after a large cras.h.i.+ng sound could be heard when a wave of monster beasts was bearing down upon them. It looked like a good two thousand monster beasts had come to destroy them. The guards all retreated into the keep grabbing spears swords and all types of weapons. All of these cultivators were ready for death to defend their homelands.

Raph on top of the walls could see the giant horde baring down upon them then he received a system notification.

That meant multiple monster waves this was going to be a long fight. The waves closed on to the castle from what Raph could see there were Badgers, and wolves in the first wave. The soldiers began to loose arrows while I'mcold, Newbones and Rekiller threw their own waves of attacks. The first wave was easy enough to defend against it didn't take long to defeat with all the arrows that were loosed. The strength of the first monster horde was pushed back easily with the help of the defenders but right before they finished defeating the first wave the second wave had begun with five hundred more monster beasts.

"Open the gate and encircle the monster beasts as they come inside." Wayslick said. If they didn't keep up with the waves it won't be long before they were overrun by monster beasts so they had to let them in to get their melee into the fight. Captain Sun nodded opening the gate letting in the rest of the monsters in. Then Let in the snarling badgers and wolves in s.h.i.+ny lead the front with Yellowpuppy right behind him they formed a strong line for the soldiers to easily kill the remaining monsters before the next wave hit. When they had made it to third wave they still had about two hundred monsters from the second one still left to kill.

Raph caught with from the distance a different looking monster roaming in the pack it was the first boss type monster it looked like a compressed wolf they had fought back in the cave but it didn't have tusks this time it looked green leaving a trail of slime behind it.

The first boss had arrived!!!!
