I yelled and continued to swing my Cyan Netherworld Sword, unleas.h.i.+ng Burning Blade Slash and Thousand Ice Slash into the crowd of enemies. We needed to push them back and stop them from advancing any further.

Blazing b.a.l.l.s of fire fell from the sky and wreaked havoc amid the Dragonlight Cavalry. Xu Yang's armor was scorched by the flaming spheres and his health dropped below 10%. Turning red with anger he shouted, "G.o.ddammit!"

The Dragonlight Cavalry continued to retreat swiftly. However, we were forced into a dead end again. An icy cliff was right behind us!

"We can't retreat anymore!" Chaos Moon looked at me and yelled, "Lu Chen! We will really be eliminated here if we continue to retreat!"

I opened up the map quickly and scanned the terrain nearby. As I quickly scanned the map for escape routes, I noticed a small bear cave just behind us. However, its entrance had been sealed by a layer of ice when it snowed suddenly.

I urged the Ice Qilin Horse forward and led a group of people toward the entrance. However, ice formed extremely fast inside the game. I gritted my teeth in anger when I saw that the entrance was covered with a layer of ice that was a few feet thick!

"This…"

He Yi threw me a questioning look and asked, "Are we gonna hide in that bear cave?"

"Mn, that's our best option for now."

I raised my sword and shouted, "Those with high Attack, attack that layer of ice! Our survival hinges on being able to carve a path into that cave!”

Chaos Moon, High Fighting Spirits, He Yi and Gui Guzi raised their swords and charged toward the entrance of the cave. I stretched out a hand to grasp He Yi's cold, dainty palm and pulled her into the bear cave. The Phantom Wolf King's fur stood on its end as it dashed into the cave with a howl. It sunk its teeth into the wild bear, killing it instantly.

We rushed into the cave in a single file and the cave was soon filled with 1100 Dragonlight Cavalrymen. The tally made a realization dawn on me. f.u.c.k, we lost nearly two hundred men to this group of mages! My heart aches just thinking about it!

A bunch of enemy mages caught up to us and surrounded the entrance of the cave. They unleashed many domain-type spells like Icy Rain, locking down the entrance to the cave. Is there a need for such a big fuss? 50k Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalrymen are right outside the entrance of the cave and they are gonna charge in with the help of the mages. Chaos Moon, you and High Fighting Spirits defend on the other side! Those with ranged skills, go to the frontlines and get ready to defend! Everyone, use your Barrier Breaks as much as possible! Attack!”

Following that, sounds of swords piercing through metal started to ring out and I frowned in worry. d.a.m.n it! Those Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalrymen are truly eager to annihilate us! The battle has already begun, so He Yi and I have to be quick!

The snow around us was almost two feet thick and the entire Dragonbone Mountain Range had already been covered in white s.h.i.+mmering snow.

"Alright! Let's tell everyone to retreat!" He Yi laughed.

"Hold on…"

I reached out a hand to stop He Yi before pointing a finger into the distance. "Eve, look over there. Is that…"

I was pointing at a pine tree that was laid on the ground, buried underneath a pile of snow.

He Yi's gaze followed my finger as she s.h.i.+vered. "Did that Purple Dragon Howl cause a small avalanche?"

"It did!" I nodded my head heavily.

I grinned as I looked at the crowd of Northern Alliance players and the Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalry below us. The unsuspecting bunch of Northern Alliance players was too focused on killing every single Dragonlight Cavalrymen. They had no idea of the impending danger!

"Lu Chen, are you thinking of burying those Northern Alliance elite players under an avalanche?" He Yi asked as she looked at me with mesmerizing eyes.

I nodded my head and smiled. "Mn. I think it's a feasible course of action."

I looked to the edge of the mountain and saw a giant boulder which looked like it was about to roll off the mountain. However, there were three other smaller rocks of different sizes underneath that boulder, holding the large boulder in place. All we had to do was to smash those smaller rocks so that the large boulder would roll down the mountain. That would trigger a s...o...b..ll effect! Surely it would create an absolutely shocking avalanche!

However, a full-blown avalanche would surely shake the heavens and the earth. Half of the Dragonbone Mountain Range would tremble under the force of the avalanche and a small map such as the bear cave would surely collapse then. The 1100 Dragonlight Cavalrymen inside the cave would surely be buried alive under the weight of the snow. That was something I would never want to witness.

After discussing the plan with He Yi, we came to a decision. Opening the guild chat, I said, "Little Gui and Chaos Moon, lead the cavalry and return to the city. You'll be able to return in an hour if you teleport to Wind City and make your way to Dawn City from there!"

Without asking for an explanation, he led the main cavalry back to the city.

Snow started to slide down the mountain range as the mountain trembled from the blast. However, our attacks had only gotten rid of the small rocks. The other rocks were too big and did not move an inch!

"G.o.ddammit!"

I gritted my teeth in anger before glancing at the cooldown on my Purple Dragon Howl. Yes! It's ready! The cooldown on it is done because I used my apparition to use it most of the time!

I downed a Saint Spirit Potion and regained a full bar of MP. It's time to begin!

Bang!

I thrust my sword into the ground and it shook violently. I swiftly pulled my sword out and swung it, unleas.h.i.+ng a dragon of purple energy. The divine dragon roared as it flew forward and exploded against a few large boulders!

Boom, boom, boom!

Sounds of exploding rocks rang out continuously. I gasped in shock when the Purple Dragon Howl reduced the large boulders to rubble. A hundred feet tall boulder trembled and started to roll down the mountain, acc.u.mulating tons of snow along the way and growing bigger and bigger at an exorbitant rate!

The Dragonbone Mountain Range trembled violently and an avalanche struck!

He Yi and I quickly entered battle mode and ran away from the avalanche. However, it also meant that we were unable to use our teleportation scrolls to teleport to safety.

"Eve! Grab onto me!"

I wrapped an arm around He Yi and heavily stabbed the Cyan Netherworld Sword into a boulder. I held on to my sword tightly as we were suspended from the side of the mountain and watched the rocks roll off the mountain one by one.

A large ma.s.s of snow started to slide off the mountain range rapidly, enveloping everything at the base of the mountain.
